The Invincible Man

The strongest man who ever lived, if you could call him a man, grew up on a small farm in a small town called Smallville in the small state of Kansas. One might say that his story began not too long ago, when the meteor shower hit Smallville.

It started out like any normal day. All the normal people were going about doing their normal activities, but that day was anything but normal. The Smallvillians were minding their own business when they noticed gigantic green meteors falling from the sky.

These meteors crashed into cars, houses, and cornfields—tearing apart anything they landed on. If the people of Smallville had been paying more attention, they might have noticed that meteors were not the only things falling from the sky. A spaceship containing a toddler was also hurtling towards earth.

Soon after this, Martha and Johnathan Kent found the toddler in a cornfield. They adopted him because they had no children of their own, and they named him Clark. Not long after they adopted him, they realized that he wasn't like other children. For instance, he was able to run at a speed of over 900 miles per second (the rate of a speeding bullet). He could also lift heavy objects, such as the family tractor. As he grew older, Clark developed more powers. He learned how to shoot fire from his eyes and gained X-ray vision. Clark was nearly invincible. He had only one weakness—the meteor rocks which had fallen to earth with him.

Clark used his powers for good, saving people's lives and simply being a good Samaritan. One person he saved was Lex Luthor. Lex was the son of Lionel Luthor, the richest man on earth. Lionel had spent many years working to become wealthy, but in the process he had become hard-hearted, shutting everyone out. Lex struggled for many years to keep from becoming like his father, but it was an uphill battle.

Lex and Clark were, for a time, the best of friends. No one knows quite how they became enemies. People say that Lex discovered Clark's great powers and wished to use them for personal gain. Clark, being the all-around good guy that he was, refused, and the two never spoke again.

After the fight, Clark moved to a metropolitan apartment in a metropolitan city called Metropolis in the metropolitan state of Kansas. He became a journalist, fighting for truth, and he became a superhero to many, fighting for justice.

As a superhero, Clark was often forced to turn the evildoer Lex over to the police. Lex spent his days either committing a crime or doing time.

In Metropolis, Clark met another journalist named Lois Lane. They worked together at the paper for many years and eventually married. Lex married a woman named Erica; they had a daughter named Lena.

I'd like to tell you that Clark lived happily ever after, but no one knows. Some say that Lex Luthor killed him with meteor rocks. Some say Clark is immortal, still living today. All we know is that he continued fighting for truth and justice.
