Snape's Secret

Chapter 1

Seerana glared at Severus Snape as she walked up to him. He looked rather shocked. He tried very hard not to show his surprise, but it was quite obvious that he had forgotten that she was coming.

"Hello dear. You didn't forget about me, did you, Seveurs love?" She questioned calmly.

"I . . . I . . ." Snape stammered.

"What's the excuse this time?" Seerana asked.

"I thought you weren't coming till end of term, Seerana dear." He said, trying to recover from the blow.

Seerana just smiled at him. "You didn't think I was really mad, did you?"

"I wasn't sure. I can't read people. All I know is you have feelings for me." He replied, puzzled. He did not understand her at all.

"Awww… Sev!" She said as she ran toward him and embraced him in a hug.

It had been so long since Snape had been hugged by her, by anyone. It felt strange, yet, it felt right, like a part of him that had been missing had finally returned. He wrapped his arms around her. She smelled good. Like, pears. Or maybe, peaches.

"Sev?" She said very sweetly.

"Rana?" he replied, smiling at her. She was the only person who could make him smile.

"I think its time you and I started living together."

Snape pondered this thought, it had, after all, been three years since they had married. They had had a small ceremony, with only a few friends and some of Seerana's family. They only saw each other occasionally because they didn't have a house together. She had been living with her collage flat-mate, but her flat mate wasn't very happy about it.

"I think that's a wonderful idea, Seerana." Snape said.

"I'm glad you think so. Now what's for dinner? I'm hungry." Seerana smiled and took his hand in hers.

"Seerana?" Snape squeezed her hand.

"Yes?" She looked up at him, her hair falling across her face.

"I've missed you." He said as he moved her hair away from her face.

"I know, that's why I came early. Know what?" She looked away, laughing softly.

"What?" He smiled.

"I missed you too."

"I love you." Snape put his free hand on her cheek. Her skin was so soft.

"I love you too, Sev." Seerana kissed him on his cheek.

"Lets go eat." Snape said as he put his arm around her.
