Eyes Gone Black
Chapter 1: A Look at the Night Skye.
Skye Midnight Bolt stared off into a fire. How could she have been so, so stupid? How could she not have seen this before now?
" Skye?" Severus Snape said, walking into her room.
"Um? Oh! what do you want, uncle?" Skye asked, alarmed. She hadn't seen Severus, well really seen him, for about three months.
" Serenity said you were upset. She told me to come check on you." Snape said simply.
" Yeah, I guess you could say that." Skye got up and walked over to her uncle. " Half of it's because Mum's making me transfer. The other half........" She trailed off. Severus was the only person, besides Blaise, who knew what she really was.
" What did you see?" He asked, point blank. skye's eyes filled up with tears.
" Er....do you-um-do you want me to get your mother-er-Serenity?" Severus asked. He hated to see his Skye like this.
" No! No, don't get her. I know what you all are, and I don't want to become one." Skye said. "'Become one' what may I ask?" Severus presed his niece. " A Deatheater."
Severus shook his head. " I'm not one." He said quietly. Skye's head shot up. " Really?!" She asked, hopefully. " Well, yeah. So...What did you see? " Snape asked, sternly.
" Harry Potter, a dark room, and a blood potion. A red blood potion. The blood in it...was Harry's.......and.........." Skye didn't know how to put it to him easily.
A blood potion? That's done to see if you're related to someone. Why would Potter be doing a blood potion? Severus wondered. He looked at Skye and recognized the look in her eyes. She was in a trance.
SKYE'S VISION
Skye walked down the sidewalk of a Muggle town. She looked at a sign. It read: Privet Drive. Skye stopped when she saw a boy burst out of a house, wand in hand. A man with a thick belt followed him. " I told you boy! If you ever, ever, said anything about your freaky school ever again, I'd beat you senseless!" The man flicked the belt like a whip. It hit the boy's hand causing him to drop his wand and to cry out. "I'll see to it, boy, that you'll never hold that wand again!" The man bellowed, striking the boy across the face.
Skye's vision became blurry. Suddenly, she was back in her bedroom, gasping.
END OF VISION
"Skye! Skye, are you okay?" Severus asked.
Skye turned and stared at the man who she had become to trust like an Uncle. " You have to help him! They're beating him!" She yelled.
" Who, may I ask?" Severus replied, a little frantically.
" Skye?" A voice said. Blaise, Skye's brother, walked into the room.
" Harry Potter." Skye said, hardly looking at her brother.
" Why would I want to help him?" Severus asked coldly.
"He's your son." Skye looked him staright in the eyes.
