Disclamer: I don't own holes and never will, I just like to make storys about it :)

A lump of cream colored sheets lay pilled up at the end of Stanley Yelnats' bed. He sat, sweat pouring down his face, gasping for air. He had awoken out of another one of his nightmares about Camp Green Lake. He looked on the floor of his large room, all his friends from the camp lying in heaps on the floor. Sleeping bags of all colors lined the floor, as Stanley stood, making his way past them silently. The last few weeks of summer were coming to an end, and school was approaching quickly. He remembered the look on Zero's face when he found out he was going to school like everyone else. Walking into the bathroom he flicked on the light, half blinding him self from the sudden flash. He looked into the mirror as he ran the cold water. Bending down he cupped his hands, catching water and splashing it on his face. The icy water came as a shock to him, waking him up more then he had expected. He heard loud footsteps in his direction; he quickly dried off his face just as a sleepy Ricky stumbled in. "Hey man." He blinked as the light hit his eyes. "The others sent me to see if you're okay." Stanley looked up and laughed, "You were all up?" Ricky nodded; his normally poofy hair was mashed down on his head from sleeping. Stanley shook his head chuckling. " I'm perfectly fine, I just woke up a little to early again." Ricky yawned again, attempting to talk at the same time. "You need to get some sleep man, and ya gotta stop waking up so early. You look like shit." And with that Ricky turned and stumbled off back to bed. Stanley trudged down to the kitchen, find him self something to eat and moving to the den. Sitting down he turned on the small TV, and in time he fell fast asleep.
