Chapter 1 : Blood lust

"But how ... why ... when did Eggman have the chance to do this ..." Sonic said surprised.

"That's the point Sonic, he never had the chance, he must have created Shadow as a vampire" Tails explained.

"Well ... erm ... we'll just have to wait for Blake to get back"

sighed Sonic briefly, when suddenly a giant tentacle of one of Eggman's robots shot through the wall of the hut and grabbed Shadow.

"Tails we have to get him b...." The robot was destroyed and Shadow, the vampiric shadow was standing in its place, while the robot lay next to him destroyed.

Shadow, in the blink of an eye back flipped up the cliff, to some humans watching from above.

Sonic saw something red falling from the cliff; it was a giant rainfall of blood.

Then after a few seconds; arms, legs, livers and organs started falling.

"He's ripped them to shreds Tails, what's got into Shadow; well whoever this is it isn't Shadow."

He sighed momentarily when Tails heroically said,

"Sonic, dont you grieve we are going to get shadow back if it takes us forever."

Tails started flying up the cliff to get on the trail of Shadow when sonic ran up and hurried past him.

They stood there amazed at the pool of blood and eyeballs and organs. Then all of a sudden . . . . . . . Shadow sped back through the forest on top of the mountain and hammered sonic right in the gut at lightning speed. Sonic was immediately blown back and knocked out.

"SSSSSSSSOOOONNNNNNIIIIICCCCCCCC" Tails screeched at the top of his voice. But Sonic couldn't hear him he was dreaming.

"Sonic . . . ."

"What . . . . who . . . who are you."

"Why it's me, your superior self-being."

"No you need me I am taking control of you to 'cure' Shadow, mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha."
