You walked into the library. She was there. You bit your lip softly. Should you go over? She heard your footsteps and turned. She waved. You felt hot inside. She turned back to her work. You walked over and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned to face you.
"What do you-" She managed to say before you leant over and your lips found hers. She didn't kiss back, and you felt hurt.
You apologised and turned to go, but for some reason couldn't. Her hand was holding yours, holding you back. Her fingers intertwining with yours. It was like she didn't want you to go, and you didn't want to go. You couldn't go. Not now. You will never go. You can't.
