Disclaimer: I own nuttin!
A/N: Well Faithful readers this will be my last story for awhile because on December 28th I leave for the Air force. Thank you for all of your reviews and encouragement. I promise that the moment I get my own computer I will write more stories.
Background: This story takes place after the Turtles have become apart of humanity and Leo has left for Iraq. This is dedicated to the families of soldiers serving our country. Leo is a Marine.
Splinter and his three remaining sons put up the Christmas tree and were getting ready for the holiday. This year though, wasn't as merry as the others because Leonardo wasn't there.
Raphael placed an American flag on the top to symbolize their patriotism and support for the troops.
Michelangelo had dedicated his talk-show on the radio to the troops and his brother.
Donatello had returned from his work at NASA to be with his family.
As they listened to the radio on Christmas Eve they heard something that brought joy and relief to their hearts.
"This is Leutenant Leonardo Homato and I would like to say Merry Christmas to my Father and three brothers Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. Have a good Christmas guys and I'll be home soon."
Nothing could wipe the smiles from their faces. They had missed him so much and that had put hope that they might see their family member soon.
Little did they know that soon Leonardo would come home early because of a bomb that would take his right leg and because of the injury and that he had saved a fellow officer he would receive the purple heart for his courage and honor.
And his family couldn't be prouder.
A/N: I know it's short and I'm sorry. I will miss you all!!!!!
