I do know how no one read entries with the words "song fanfic and tea" but I'll give it a shot (if you do read this then plez R&R! Good or bad!) I don't own yu-gi-oh! Or the song "he does not see me" by Sarah Brighman
Any way just think of this as what is going on in her mind as tea is watching yami. For some background info: after the millennium battles (basically all hell breaks lose sort of like the 'release the dragon' episodes that are airing now but without the seal... moving on! All these different people tried to kill yami and this one girl the "angel of shadows" (you'll hear more of her if I ever get off my butt and right down the different thought that like to run through my head at night!) He and the angel were best friend back in Egypt when they where little and it grew to become more... By killing them they can steal there power and items and rule the world! In the possess of doing this they bring the shadow realm to earth and almost destroy it, but they don't and yami aka pharaoh Atum real name become pharaoh of the world! With the angel by his side.) This is the first dance as a married couple and this is what tea is thinking! Enjoy!
When he pass me by, he's a ray of light
like the first drop of sun from the sky.
And I know he's a king, who deserves a queen.
But I'm not a queen.
And he does not see me.
When he dances, he moves to a smile
and I see every near him shine.
There's a grace in his way that I can't contain
I haven't that grace
oh I haven't that grace.
And the closer he gets I can't help but hide
so ashamed of my body and voice.
There are boundaries we pass in spite of the war
but our own, we can't seem to cross.
She has a way that surrounds her so delicate
with a glory that reigns in her life.
She is also so much that she is not
these things, I can't see
because he can't see me
and he doesn't see me.
There are things we can change,
if we just choose to fight
but the walls of injustice are high.
When he pass me by, he's a ray of light
like the first drop of sun from the sky.
And I know he's a king, who deserves a queen.
Someone other then me.
So different from me.
he doesn't see me.
he doesn't see me.
he doesn't see me.
