Disclaimer: H/G is not mine, and I am not JKR. But this is my poem. I wrote it at five-thirty in the morning when I was scrambling to get my journals done for Health. I don't think my teacher read it though, and even if he did, he didn't understand it. But enjoy it, people! I'll be back with an update for Letters and Care Packages soon!
Ode to H/G
To H and G, smooth sailing I see
If the captain directs your prow in the way
That she has hinted she will.
Does she realize how
Devastated she would make us believers
If she had misled us and you,
Sending you to crash on a painful bed of
Jutting rocks called H and Hr?
You were meant to be, G for H, and H for G—
One dark and brooding, the other
Bright and passionate. Both with souls
Touched by evil—and more than
That you have in common.
Humor abounds despite the grief-stricken situations.
When H will reach out to G—
He will realize that nothing more is needed.
Down with H and Hr, oh mighty JKR!
'Tis a ship most unsuitable for a story
Which demands a happy ending!
We wait eagerly for the seventh tome
To see H and G emerge from the scarlet train,
Hand-in-hand. We rejoice in you:
The-Ship-That-Will-Live!
Author's Note: Laugh if you must, and jeer if you so feel inclined. But please do so in a review! I love you all!
