This is a small poem I wrote when I had read "It's What I Want" by Devlinn Reiko-sama. One of my favourite stories... Read it if you want to understand this.
By the way, this poem refers to chapter 13 and is my version of what Kai might be feeling during those lonley days. Hope you like it.

You said you'd be gone for a while
But…
Hasn't a while gone yet?
Don't you want to come back?
Why don't you want to come back?
My eyes won't see for me anymore
My fingers won't feel for me anymore
My mouth won't taste for me anymore
My body won't move for me anymore
Everything is getting fuzzy
As if swallowed by fog
Slowly getting darker
Like in the sunset
But the sun is not going up anymore
Not for me
Please come back
I need something
Someone
To hold on to
In the numb darkness
Surrounding me
You won't come back
And I'm lost in the darkness
That's it. Please don't kill me for this.
