The Mountain of Fire
Death and Flame
Smoke and Ash
Ruined land
Black and bare.
I run, I stumble
Past realm of sight
Eye upon me
I am falling
Ensnaring gaze
Penetrates
Sun hides behind
Spouts of flames.
End is near
Tears on my face
Turn to dust
Ere they fall
Calling, calling
Strength is falling
It calls and
I can't resist.
I can't let go.
Death and Flame
Shadow my sight
As I fall
It mocks my pain
I can't let go
Let death and flame
Conquer, bind
For it is calling
And I'm afraid
Shadows pass
You call my name
Your plight goes
Unanswered.
Golden fire
Claim my soul
No longer waiting
End is nigh
I am gone
To death and flame
But I will fight
Ere it ends.
I let it go
And it falls
Gone, destroyed
Up come cries
Of searing death
Black sky, red flame
Smote to ashes
No more than dust.
But I don't see
It lies beyond
Bathed in pain
Reaching blind
I hear your voice
Feel your hand
Quest of danger
I can remember.
But it's too late
Together we fall
Surrounded by
Endless death
Consumed by
Undying flame.
I let it go.
I let it go
And it let me
I am gone
You're at my side.
It always was
Will always be
No longer
No more
It cannot mock me.
Cold as ice
Amidst the flame
World lives
Sees grace restored.
But we are lost.
Never return
It is over
For Forever
Are we lost.
To Death and Flame...
We are lost.
