I know it's your fault that I'm in the mess I'm in

I just wanted to talk you but then I started wondering if she's the one, or not…
"MARK!!!"
I turned off my music and walked downstairs to my whiny roommate Enrico. He blames me for anything that breaks, including the weird inventions he makes (which don't work). He's stupid that way. Anyway, I went downstairs and saw that he got his index finger stuck in the toaster. Again.
"Enrico, why do I even keep you around?" I asked him as I pulled his finger out. He said nothing; he just went to his little TV invention, where the laser pointer that I got for 5 years at my job was pointing at a 15' TV. He's a loony, that's for sure. I walked back upstairs to play Tron 2.0.
I didn't know how long it was until Enrico's nasally voice once again called out my name. Somethinag had happened to him when was playing his Gamecube. Wouldn't you know it, the TV picture was a bit too bright. I leaned over to adjust the picture, and saw that the glass… wasn't there… Instinctively, I touched the picture.
The last thing I heard was a sort of electrical charge.
I woke up in a hospital, but something was a bit… off…
Whereas Enrico only played Sonic games, I played Endline, a first-person shooter. The main charcter, Blade, was über-sensitive to light, so he needed sunglasses. What he chose was "Tech Glasses", which explained the HUD in the game.
That information proved useful, as the fluorescent lights seemed to burn a hole through me. I had to squint, but then I felt somebody put a pair of sunglasses in my hand.
"I found these near you. That was a big fall there – lucky you didn't get hurt."
I got up; put the sunglasses on, and stared at whom was talking to me.
"KNUCKLES?!" I yelled.
I did a quick 180 and I saw Tails and Sonic.
Sonic told me how Tails found these dashed on the ground nearby.
Tails said, "I also improved them a bit. Try it."
I touched a button on the side of the glasses and I saw several meters fill up.
Oh crud- I'm Blade!
