This is my own little take on a Weasly Christmas…its kind of how my family does things, and I thought it'd be kind of cute.

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, and Merry Christmas.

Weasly Family Christmas

They had gotten the tree already. Three days ago nine Weasly's trekked out into the woods behind they're home to find a perfect Christmas tree. They now had it, and it was set up in the heart of they're home. The tree took up a lot of space, but then the house was rather small considering how many people were living there.

All the Weasly's were gathered in the family room, Christmas carols lightly playing from the old rickety piano Mr. Weasly rigged. All the children were gathered around the tree, already light up, putting ornaments on it.

There were old antique ornaments Mrs. Weasly received from her mother, and handmade ones given to her on birthdays and mother's days from her children.

Bill, being the oldest, was home for Christmas from his second year of Hogwarts. He had a three year old Ginny, who was giggling happily, on his shoulders and was helping her put ornaments on the higher branches.

Charlie, who hadn't gone to Hogwarts yet, and a four year old Ron, were on the other side of the tree putting more ornaments up. Ron was placing too many on one branch, and Charlie fixing it when Ron wasn't looking.

Percy, who was only eight and already a firm believer in rules, was chasing the twins, six and already troublemakers, around for some thing they'd done, no one knew what. They were ducking under people and running around the tree.

Molly and Arthur watched all this with smiles on their faces, while sipping eggnog.

Finally, they got up and handed tinsel, so that they could finish the tree off. They knew that this was probably a mistake, as there'd be more tinsel in people's hair and on the floor than on the tree.

When all the tinsel and ornaments had been used up, and the children were starting to get tired, Arthur had them all sit on the couch in front of the tree while Molly set up the Nativity seen.

As Molly set it up, Arthur read aloud from the Bible about the Christmas story and how baby Jesus was born.

As he got to the part about the three wise men, he noticed his two youngest asleep snoring lightly.

Smiling he picked Ron up, while motioning for Bill to get Ginny. Quietly they all trekked up the crooked steps of the Burrow, stopping at each room to drop a kid off and wish them goodnight.

When all the kids were asleep he went back down stairs to find his wife sitting on the couch smiling at the tree.

He sat next to her and looked at the tree also.

It was a little crooked, and didn't have as many branches as they liked. There were one too many ornaments on one branch, and tinsel was bunched up here and there, but the tree was perfect to them.

It glittered and shined and showed all the love that was in their home. They didn't need some manufactured tree, or fancy decorations. Their children made it more beautiful than anything you'd find in some mansion or castle.

Smiling, Arthur looked over to his wife, "We didn't do half bad did we?"

Molly looked over to her husband, thanking God for her wonderful family, "No, we didn't do half bad."

Grinning, she took out her wand and said a quick incantation. Mistletoe appeared above them and Arthur smiled.

"I love you Arthur Weasly." With that she leaned in and kissed him.

Smiling, Arthur broke away, "I love you too. Merry Christmas, love."

Well, I hope you liked it. I don't know that wizards have religions, but my family is Catholic and since I based the Weasly's off my own experiences I decided they'd be some sort of Christian. Sorry if this bothers you. Well, Merry Christmas! I hope you liked it, please let me know what you thought!
