A/N: Hi readers, this is one part of my 'project', Games of Love (GoL). GoL is a bunch of stories that all started with an accident. This is the first chapter, and this is where it all began. After you read this, you can choose how you want them to live after the accident. Each story is different, although they all have Ginny and Draco living happily ever after, of course. The stories will have GoL next to the name. Hope you like it!
Disclaimer: J.K.Rowling's characters and some of the ideas are hers. Everythings written in GoL are not real, except for the things that are.
Recollection
Ginny opened her eyes at the sound of tapping. She couldn't remember where she was or how she got to this place. The was light seeping under the door where she could hear people walking past The room was dark and gloomy, reflecting the rain outside. She turned to face the window where the noise was coming from.
She slowly walked over, catching herself before she fell on the cold floor.
Tap tap tap.Her head was still in a daze as she opened the cold window.
A soaked owl hopped inside with a brown bag around its neck. She didn't understand why there was an owl at her window. She carefully lifted the red tattered bag off its neck. The bird nipped at her finger, thanking her.
The owl let out a small cry when it tried to lift its wing, showing the ruffled feathers.
"Oh no." Ginny whispered as she examined the bird's wing. She carried the injured animal to her bedside table. Ginny's eyes winced at the sight and bit her bottom lip as she took a closer look.
"Weasley," said an icy voice behind her.
Ginny's head shot up when she felt a sudden chill run up and down her spine. Her heart started to beat faster and her breath became more rapid. Her body tensed when she felt his fingers touch her hair and slowly slithered to her waist.
His voice was so familiar, so terrifying it gave her nightmares at night. But she was still frightened each time he was near, each time he spoke.
"What are you doing with my owl?" she turned to face him finding herself staring at his narrowed grey eyes.
"I didn't know…" she said to his chest. Her pink mouth parted to speak again, but she couldn't answer him. Feeling his eyes pierce holes in her head, she trembled as she realized his hand was still on her waist.
She was drained and tired, her fear of Draco Malfoy weakened her even more. She didn't know where she was or how she got here…
She closed her eyes when she felt her head swirl and her heart beating. Her knees betrayed her and the her thoughts disappeared into blackness.
Draco caught her before she hit the stony floor. He carried her to her bed wondering how she could walk around barefooted on the cold ground.
Her tucked her underneath the covers and heated the fireplace in the hospital wing. He slowly carried his owl to his bed and lit the candle.
