Chapter 2: the strange way to solve

Harry and Hermione jumped at the sound of Dumbledore's voice coming from the corner of their apartment.

"You see, I understand why you don't want harm to come to Miss Granger so I will let you both decide your future. Now what I am about to do will not reach the ears of others, do you understand?"

Harry's head was spinning. 'What is Dumbledore talking about?' he thought.

Dumbledore walked over to a chair in their spacious living room and sat down what looked like a velvet bag the size of a golf ball. He reached inside and pulled out a pillow. Harry watched in amazement. The bag held things that were too big for it. By now Dumbledore had pulled out two pillows and laid them on the floor. The pillows flashed a evergreen color then turned back to white.

Suddenly Hermione found her voice and said, " Professor, are those Sollicito Pillows?"

Dumbledore's old face lit into a small smile. "Why yes, they are. I am glad you paid attention in Charms."

Harry felt a blush creep up his face. He had no idea what Sollicito Pillows were.

Hermione must have read his mind because she said, "Sollicito is Latin. The definition for sollicito is: to concern oneself about the future or about others. These pillows are used for couples like us who are afraid of what the future is to bring. Only the Ministry has some and from what I hear you have to be in a great struggle to get them." Her brow furrowed with confusion. She turned to Dumbledore and said, " You want us to use these?"

His voice was suddenly far away and misty, "why yes."
