Unwanted Heir

By: M14Mouse

Summary: Shredder's POV when he captures Raph. Spoilers for the second movie and a tiny bit from the comic books. 5th story in the Kaleidoscope Effect Series.

Disclaimer: Don't own them. I would love to have a Raph plushie.

Author's Note: I want to start the second movie's point of views on a different twist. I enjoy the Mirage TMNT comic books and I want to add a tiny bit of comics into one of the pov. I would also like to thank pacphys for her kindly review. I turn three different shades of red and was force to hide under a rock.

((Shredder's POV))

Finally, I have one of them. One of the cursed creatures that seem plagues my existence and ruins my life work. I want so much to reach out and rip out this creature's heart. No, I must wait. I will wait until all of those cursed creatures show up. I want each one to watch while I kill each of them. One by one. Perhaps, I will strip them of their flesh, blood, bones, and shells. Perhaps, I would burn them alive. Their screams would full the city. Perhaps, I would allow my new pets to kill them. I have so many choices.

I would keep their shells. Their shells will be mantle of future generations of The Foot. If the cursed Rat comes into the play, I would skin his fur and grind my heels into its mangled fur as I use for my throw rug on my throne. It would teach The Foot never gives up on defeating your enemy. Yes, a prize lesson to learn for future generations.

But before the killing begins, I have a chance to examine one of the cursed creatures. I believe his name is Raphael. He fights the bonds that keep him to the pole. He fought even when he was captures. We had to knock him out before we tie him to the pole. We had to tape his mouth shut as he talk in such cursed language. His language and taunts almost cost me of my prize. His words drove my Foot into madness. I couldn't have that happen yet.

Now, his eyes turn toward me. He fights against his bonds ever more. He looks like a rabid dog trying to get free. I am surprise that his eyes show no fear of me. His eyes show angry, rage, and spirit but no fear. His eyes remind me of a roaring flame that threat to destroy everything in its path. I need to him alive but doesn't mean I cannot play with him. I cut along the creature's cheek. Just to draw enough blood to the surface.

The roaring flames in his eyes become an inferno. For a brief moment, our eyes locked. Fires costume me and eat at my skin but I was strong. I was stronger than I have ever been. Nothing could defeat me. I feel needles of wood and metal crash around and into me. No, I was strong! I would not be defeated! I will not be defeated! Yet, here I am dead. I am phantom and yet, I can see something on top on me. I can see my cape flying in the wind, my mask on another face, and my claws on another hands. It looks like one of those creatures! It looks like him! How is this possible!

You are not worthy! That is all he said as he looks at my dead form. How dare him! I step back as I snap out this vision. Did the creature see what I saw? No, it isn't possible. I will not let this happen. This will not happen. I will not have this happen!

I will kill them all.

He will be the last one to die.

I will watch his flames die as I kill each one of his brothers.

Then I will strip him of everything.

And I will watch him burn.

The End.

A/N: I didn't want to give away anything. Yes, in the comic book version, Raphael becomes the new leader of The Foot. Being in Shedder's head is scary. He makes my skin crawl.
