I wanted to do one of these; I know they're over done.

Starfire woke up extremely early December 25th. So early it might have still been the 24th. She beamed with pride, piece by piece she carried her holiday surprise down to the main room. She couldn't wait to surprise her friends.

She crept slowly around placing bales of holly on the ceiling. She frowned as the matzo cracker she was trying to nail up kept cracking. Finally she settled on glue. Lights were thrown on the ground in random patterns.

The final decoration, her pride and joy, a pine tree she had found in a parking lot, and left twenty dollars in its place. For her life she could not figure out why they had not completed it. It had taken her an hour to finish the centerpiece. She had cut burnt, and blasted nine towers on top, each had a large candle she had lit. She placed her gifts under the menorah tree. She attempted matzo ball soup and a turkey but those had not turned out so she had made a Tameranian birthday dish.

The titans woke up early as well waiting to see what they got except Raven she woke up early because every one else was so noisy. In a sloppy and in some cases just smelly (gee, who could smell like rotten tofu and week old hair gel?) herd they descended. With some impatience they slid open the door.

"SURPRISE!" shouted Star. After taking in the surroundings the other titans cracked up. Cy wasn't breathing. Star's face fell. She had thought they would like it.

Raven wasn't laughing; she only wore a grime smile. "You got it little wrong." She calmly informed Star. "I'll help you."

"Thank you friend Raven! But is this not a joyous holiday?"

"It is Starfire." She carefully hung the lights. "Maybe you should ask Robin about it later."

The Boy Wonder looked up and realized he was standing under a large chunk of mistletoe. The others took a quick step back.

Alternate ending: (I liked the mistletoe better; this was just a downer that led into another one shot (?) I'm doing.)

"Thank you friend Raven! But is this not a joyous holiday?"

"It is Starfire." She carefully hung the lights. Her face showing anything but the supposed celebration.

"Tell me Raven, " star started curiously. "Did you celebrate winter in Azerath?"

Raven looked slightly shocked but quickly took it in stride. She swallowed hard. "No, we didn't." the light string she was holding flickered and each of the tiny bulbs cracked. "Excuse me." She head for the elevator.
