(Chapter Nine: I'll Love you Forever)

Hatsuharu sat waiting on a log for Rin. He whistled a little nervously as he gazed at his surroundings. The forest he had known as a child. The place where he and Rin had played tag as children, had professedtheir love for one another, and experienced their first kiss together. He thought back on these memories fondly and wished she were there at that very moment to share them with him. In a few seconds he got his wish for Rin appeared and stopped when she saw him.

"Hello Rin" he said with a gentle smile.

"Hello Haru. Thanks for meeting me here."

"Kyo said you wanted to see me."

"I did" she nodded as she sat down next to him, "I wanted to tell you something before I left."

"What is it?"

"Haru, I didn't."

"Yes?"

"I didn't mean what I said last week. About not wanting to ever see you again."

"You didn't?" he replied surprised.

"No" she shook her head sadly; "I just thought it would be easier to leave" she said as she stood up and had her back to him, "If I cut you out my life. But I found out as I got closer to the day of leaving, that I didn't want that" the tears began to form in her eyes, "I didn't want to cut you out of my life. And not only that. I don't think I can. I can't. It's not something I can easily do. I found it's harder and makes it so much worse."

"Suzu" Haru said slowly standing up and walking over to her.

"You have tounderstand Haru about something. I never stopped. I didn't. I was just afraid. I didn't want you to get hurt like I did. I couldn't bear it."

"I know" Haru nodded, "I know."

"But I did miss you so much and it hurt so much to not talk to you or be held in your arms when I needed to be or to even to be so cold towards you. I'm totally messed up. Any guy in their right mind would have left me a long time ago."

"Then they would be idiots" he replied pressing his forehead into hers, "Rin listen to me. I could never stop loving you. Even if you asked me to. You are the only one who knows me better than anyone and I know you better than anyone. I will never stop loving. I will love you till the day I die. I will love you forever."

"Haru" she whispered as she closed her eyes, the tears falling from her eyelids.

"I know you have to get help, I'm all for that. But I will wait for you no matter how long it takes."

"You will."

"Yes" he nodded, "I don't think at all that I will be wasting my life waiting for you to come back. In fact it's something I will strive for."

"You'll never forget me then?"

"Never."

"I still don't want you to come to visit me though Haru, but I have something for you" she handed him a small box.

"What is it?"

"Stationary. Special stationary for you to keep in contact with me with letters."

"Really?"

"Yes. I have already put the address in there. And I have my own stationary to send back. Please write to me Haru. I would really like that."

"Of course I will. When do you leave?"

"Two hours."

"Then for this present you have given me, you must ask me of something. What can I do for you before you go? It can be anything. Anything you want."

"Anything?"

"Yes."

"Okay" she nodded, "Would you. Would you play that song Haru? The one you sang to me the first night you and I became one. You remember that one don't you?"

"Oh yes" he smiled taking her hand, "I do."

(Next Scene)

Hatsuharu sat down at his keyboard while Rin stood nearby. They had arrived back at his house and he pulled the song sheet from his box and began to play.

Verse one:

There's something about the way you look tonight/

Something bout the way that I can't take my eyes off you/

Something bout the way your lips invite/

Maybe it's the way that I get nervous when you're around/

And I want you to be mine/

And if you need a reason why/

Chorus:

It's in the way that you move me/

And the way that you tease me/

The way that I want you tonight/

It's in the way you hold me/

And the way that you know me/

When I can't find the right words to say

You feel it in the way/

You feel in the way/

Verse Two:

There's something bout how you stay on the mind/

There's something bout the way that I whisper you're name when I'm asleep, oh girl/

Maybe it's the look you get in your eyes/

Maybe it's the way that makes me feel to see you smile/

And the reasons they may change/

But what I'm feeling stays the same/

Chorus:

It's in the way that you move me/

And the way that you tease me/

The way that I want you tonight/

It's in the way you hold me/

And the way that you know me/

When I can't find the right words to say

You feel it in the way/

You feel in the way/

Bridge:

I can't put my fingers on just what it is that makes me love you, you baby/

So don't ask me to describe, I get all choked up inside/ just thinking bout the way/

Chorus:

It's in the way that you move me/

And the way that you tease me/

The way that I want you tonight/

It's in the way you hold me/

And the way that you know me/

When I can't find the right words to say

You feel it in the way/

You feel in the way/

There's something bout the way you look tonight/

There's nothing more to say, then I feel it in the way/

Rin smiled as he finished and he smiled back. Then she wrapped her arms around him and closed her eyes.

"I'm gonna miss you so much Haru" she whispered.

"I gonna miss you too Suzu" he said quietly back.

From in the kitchen his mom listened and smiled with a bit of tears on her face. Then she sighed contently and returned to washing the dishes.
