"I'm goin' ghost!"
A bright light engulfed Daniell Fenton as he became the legendary hero Danny Fantom. His raven hair became snow white and his blue eyes turned green once more. A black and white suit replaced his clothes and shoes. Sam and Tucker stood by his side as he flew off to the ghost zone.
The ghost zone was a realm of ghosts and apparitions, connected to the human world by the Fenton Portal, designed by Danny's mother and father, Jack and Mattie. They didn't know it worked, or that their own son had become half ghosts by it's own hands. It started out as any other day.
Their obsession with ghosts greatly annoyed Danny and his sister Jazz. They had taken it onto themselves to prove that they exsisted, and often preached about it to the only people they could make listen. The two swore that they would find some way to communicate, or at least capture one. This day, they thought, would be the day.
"Danny!" Mattie called upstairs from the basement. "We're almost done! Come and see!" Danny groaned. "Just a sec, mom!" I gotta go, he imed his best friend, Sam. My mom wants me to see the new 'Fenton Portal' lol. Sounds wonderful, Sam typed back. Makes me glad I have normal parents.
Me too! Tucker had just signed on and started furiously typing and sending every two seconds. Still, this could revolutionize the way we think about ghosts!
Lol! Danny sent."Danny!" I really have to go now before my parents ground me. see ya! Two 'byes' appeared on the screen, and he left.
Down the stairs and to the left of the door, lay a huge hole in the wall covered in metal. Danny's parents were still working furiously to get it done. "So Danny how do you like it?" As Danny searched for words, Jazz got up from the chair she was sitting in. "Can't you do anything more productive?" she asked, thus making so Danny did not have to answer. He made a mental to thank her, but thought better of it.
"Young lady," said Jack in a semi-firm tone. "This discovery could revolutionize the way people think about ghosts!" Danny sighed; had Tucker and his dad been in touch lately or what? "Now stand back and let's see what this baby can do!" He took out a controler and pushed the button. Nothing happened. Jack pushed the button several more times. Still, nothing happened.
"Augh!" he yelled. "Stupid thing!" Jazz sighed and went upstairs. It was obvious that she could care less. Danny, however, had become mildly interested. After his parents had left, he pulled on a safety suit and went inside.
"Well no wonder!" he said to himself. "The switch was off!" He flipped it on, and started to leave. But what he didn't know was that his father had dropped the controller, and that the button was pressed. It would change his life forever.
