Strong, hardened, claw tipped hands,
Embrace a small yet precious frame.
He whispers "I was scared for you",
As she slowly whispers out his name.
Just two lovesick, legendary heroes,
Who both share each other's heart.
Love is within their solemn eyes,
Although they're a whole age apart.
He has been to hell and straight back,
His eyes are full of grief, sorrow, strife.
Yet this slender, unassuming young girl,
Has given him a brand new lease on life.
Quite simply, they need one another,
Though thoroughly deny it they may.
To each other they give new strength,
And they just can't stand to be away.
He's a mythical monster, while she,
A modern miko, innocent and pure,
Journeys through time to see him.
And only one thing, their love, is sure.
