The pain inside

This is a short poem about Gohans reaction to Goku comming back for the tournament. Its pretty sad themed. Deep down this is probably what Gohan was thinking.

A/N: Well this is my second poem on here hope everyone likes it. Its Gohans POV after Goku goes to the tournament. Oh and I am also working on the alternate ending to 'Gohans Breakdown'.

The pain inside

Ever since you left

the pain inside has flourished.

Darkness eats away at my soul.

Why did you leave me?

Why for so long?

Was I a bad son?

Was it punishment?

Seven years you were gone.

The seven longest years of my life.

I wanted you to be there,

for me, for mom, for Goten.

I am lost without you.

Why couldn't things go back?

Back to the way they used to be.

The days where we didn't worry.

The days of peace and happiness.

But those days never really happened.

I cried for you… but got no answer.

Suddenly your back now,

but only for the tournament,

not for your family.

I'm sorry if I disappointed you.

All I ever wished for was peace,

and not this pain inside.
