Disclaimer: I do not own nor never will Naruto
A.N/ I decided to redo this because I didn't like the way it flowed...plus some help critizism
I'm looking up at the stained sky so my tears don't well up and fall.
Why can't people live as they wish I don't want a weak heart that can't cry or the strength not to cry.
I'll search for a shooting star to cast my wishes on, but dawn is coming too soon and I won't be able to find one. Hanabi, Ayumi Hamasaki.
Hanabi was perfect.
Atleast...that's what the clan said. The second daughter of their clan head was the perfect Hyuga. Emotionless, powerful, cunning, and beatiful. What is the perfect Hyuga though? In Hanabi's opinion she was not the perfect Hyuga. A perfect Hyuga would be Neji, who could see the errors in his mistakes and correct them before it was too late and grow stronger from it. A perfect Hyuga would be Hinata, who despite her weaknesses, pushed on to be the best. A perfect Hyuga would be their father, who could take in all and reveal nothing yet at times had points of emotional weakness but still managed to set things right when it really counted
Hanabi was not perfect, even though everyone assumed she was.
Hanabi wasn't like Neji, she couldn't see her mistakes till it was too late. Hanabi wasn't like Hinata, she couldn't see that there were ways to pass limitations. Hanabi wasn't like her father, she couldn't take all and reveal nothing. Hanabi was not perfect, if she was perfect she would be able to ignore these feelings. If Hanabi was perfect, she wouldn't need anything or anyone. She wouldn't have insecurities, pessismistic thoughts, and heart clenching images. If Hanabi was perfect she would be able to just walk away. But Hanabi was not perfect. She was just a girl, she was just a child. Someone who spilled their drink occasionally, sometimes said the wrong things, and sometimes did the wrong moves. If Hanabi WAS perfect, but Hanabi was NOT perfect. She was just human, she was just Hanabi.
She laughed.
She cried.
She had sad moments.
She had happy moments.
She made mistakes.
She grew hopeful.
She wished.
She prayed.
She hurt.
She healed.
Hanabi was not perfect...and that was alright.
