Max rode on her baby to Logan's apartment, excited. It was the ending of an old boring relationship and the start- she hoped- of a fun new relationship.
What she had with Alec was stronger than what she had with Logan. What she had with Logan was BULLSHIT!
Max stopped and parked her motorcycle near the door. She hopped off and went inside Foggle Towers and pushed the elevator button. What was taking the people upstairs so long to come down?
When the elevator door opened she saw Logan kissing a willowy blonde. His face was flustered and his shirt was half unbuttoned. Max shot daggers at the willowy blonde's back and looked and gave Logan a bitter look.
"Look Max I can explain!" said Logan in a rush. "I don't need and explanation roller boy... in fact I've come here to talk to you, PRIVETLY. "said Max, gesturing to the willowy blonde.
She spun her around and expected to see Asha but it was a pretty girl with dark blue eyes and rosy cheeks.
"He told me he didn't have a girlfriend" said the blonde. Max smiled at the blonde. She didn't care, she didn't need Logan, but she wasn't about to let him of the hook.
The blonde ran off out of the lift and got into her car. Max shifted her gaze over to Logan.
"Didn't have a girlfriend eh?" asked Max. Logan looked down. "I came here to say that I'm braking up with you for Alec" said Max specifically raising her voice at his name.
"But Alec is a male version of a hor! He cheats on people and he breaks their heart! Stay with me! I'll give you everything you need like expensive stuff." Said Logan in a rush.
"Eeh! Wrong answer! You're a male version of a hor! And you cheat on people and break their hearts. And by the way, I don't go for rich, arrogant men, I go for sweet guys who are also not old and have good hearts and are also good looking!" said Max. With that she walked out of the building and rode her motorcycle to the Space Needle for time to think.
"Oh crap, oh damn, oh-"said Everest, before she completed her 3rd swear word Alec cut her.
"Everest you can stop now" said Alec, his soldier face breaking into a huge wide grin.
"Why are you smiling?" she asked.
"Why do you think I'm smiling?" replied Alec with a question.
"Umm... because you feel the same way about Max?" asked Everest.
"No I don't" said Alec.
Everest's face broke into a frown. She looked at Alec with sad eyes.
"Oh, so how are-"said Everest, not completing her sentence because Alec cut in. "I love her more than she loves me. More than she'll ever know." Said Alec.
"And that's why... I'm going to the space needle with Jennifer to find Max because I know she'll be there." He completed.
"Good luck" said Everest, sighing in relief that she didn't need to talk any longer.
