Just a machine?

This story is sad. TT it made me cry!

Memories flowed in her mind explaining to her why she should run away. All that smiling by

force. Being forced over to make the house as perfect as it could. No one was caring for her

since they just think of her as a machine. Just a machine that could be replaced by another. They

never took the time to realize that even though she wasn't really alive doesn't mean that she

couldn't feel things as they really are. Her purpose was to make them happy but how about her.

Doesn't she also have feelings even though she wasn't supposing to.

Outside was dark, very dark though she didn't care. She knew she had to run away, run to a

place where she too was equal as slaves were back then. A place where she didn't have to work

and where she too could fall in love. She knew it was a silly dream so she didn't dare tell her

owners. They would just laugh at her as if she was saying it on purpose to be funny. They'll just

tell her that it was a cute thought but will never happen. I always look at the window to see people

like me having to be force into doing things like me. How could not we be equal when you people

enjoy having us around? My mind always asks me that every time.

Running away from her masters was a horrible thought to humans however her companions

would be silently cheering her on. Cheering her to have the freedom they couldn't have. Outside

they "look" happy because they're programmed too however deep in their eyes you could see

sorrow if you only look deep enough. Sorrow inside their souls that are trapped in mechanical

bodies.

She kept on running even when it was raining. She knew she could rust and even worst was

she wasn't waterproof however was so cleared to her that she just couldn't quit. Her mission was

so clear however her body was screaming in pain. Pain that she wasn't supposes to feel, ever.

She smiled as she felt the stinging inside her and asks herself. "This is the only time her people

could finally feel as if they were equal as humans. Will her people have to die just to feel?" She

asks herself this as she felt her body sink. She wasn't died since she was never alive so what's

the life after they couldn't move any more? Will she just be asleep for now, until humans that

finally see her pain? Until they fixed her again to give her life, a life full of harsh labour?

This story is soo sad. Its abou t a persocom having to die just so she could feel as though she

was human
