Chapter 1:

Revelation : The Ending Of The World

The morning sun poured through the cracks in my curtains. I stretched and got out of bed. The wooden floor was cold on the soles of my feet. As I opened the door to my closet, I felt a chill running down my spine.

Could it be? My eyes skimmed the room. No… Pulling out three shuriken, I hurled them at the Itachi poster on my wall.

Heh… Bull's eye! Today was going to be a good day.

I slipped into the outfit I wore every day. After all, no other clothes could display my manliness as well as these.

I was still rather nervous, so I hurried down to the kitchen for breakfast. I poured myself a bowl of Raisin Bran and listened closely, ready to pull out kunai in sight of any trespassers.

Yes! There! I heard the ill-concealed click of a Polaroid camera. Frantically, I whirled around, looking for my Ninja-mart limited edition calendar. The sound of giggles pierced my ears, and the soft thuds of fashionable ninja-clogs struck fear into my heart.

No… Yes… It was today. I couldn't go out. Not today. But I couldn't let them see my fear! If I surrendered to these trollops, how could I ever beat Itachi?!

Double-checking every door, window, and possible entrance into the Uchiha household, I sighed. I bravely reached for the door knob. I took a deep breath, twisted it... and all hell broke loose.

They came from every direction! Waves upon waves of frenzied women!

I was assaulted by hoards of them, each one grasping a camera, attempting to take as many possible pictures of me as they could, pushing to get to the front.

There! An opening!

I gracefully leaped over their heads and sprinted toward the direction of the bridge.

I could think only one thing. Today was not going to be a good day.

But then I realized that the worst had yet to come. As I approached the hill hiding the bridge from sight, I could already feel her presence before me. Closing my eyes, I awaited the immine-

"Sasuke-kuuuuun!"

She was upon me! The harpy pranced up to me, tossing her pink hair and smiling, her emerald eyes dancing terribly in the sun.

I could not imagine anything uglier.

She put her arms around my shoulders. "Sasuke-kun, why don't we go out today?" She whined. Her touch froze my entire body. I couldn't flee!

And then, around the corner, came salvation. The other (inferior, of course) boys of Konoha strolled up the hill. Their being inferior didn't stop them from being the lights of my life. But of course, I am not gay. No, I'm above that.

Naruto separated from the group, waving goodbye to them. Sakura tightened her hold on me, and my already paralyzed body stiffened more… if that was possible.

HELP ME, DAMMIT!!!! I

"Sasuke!!! What are you doing to Sakura!"

Naruto was so stupid. I would've slapped my forehead with my hand, had it not been trapped by the vice-like grip of Sakura.

How long was she going to claw at me? Finally, the harpy wrenched her arms from my neck.

"Naruto, you idiot! You ruined my beautiful rendezvous with Sasuke!" she growled. Her lips formed into a despicable pout.

Beautiful? Hardly. At least she wasn't touching me any more. We waited around. I surveyed my surroundings cautiously; who knows where a few fangirls might pop up. I hoped Kakashi was coming soon. Hopefully, our mission today would be in some remote, far-away area of Konoha.
