I sigh as I watch a cherry blossom petal hit the lake… standing here alone on the boardwalk… silently watching…
You know… with the cool wind blowing through my hair, I can still remember him standing right here… beside me… telling me… not to worry… that everything would be okay… that… he'll… always be here… with me…
He Lied!!
I felt a tear slid down my cheeks…
He Lied…
He's not here… not here with… with me…
…not telling… everything… would be…
…okay…
I felt a sad sigh leave my lips as I turn towards the cherry blossoms…
Yet… I can't help but feel selfish…
He… left because of… me…
He DIED … because of…… me…
He risked it all because of me…
… Because… of… me…
I noticed another cherry blossom petal fall…
Here I am standing under falling petals and over clear blue waters… here I am standing in black…
WHY????!!!!
Why is everything around me so happy?
What is there to be happy about?
How can the bird still tweet their happy tunes?
How can this world still turn when mine has already froze?
How? How?
Why? Why?
Why? Why?!
I collapsed… my knees folded under me …another lone tear escaped…
It hurt me badly hearing his last words, knowing I would never again hear it … from him…
Another tear slipped…
With the blood leaking… like water… from under his pale form… he whispered gently… trying to calm my hysteric tears…
"… smile Sakura… smile for me…" despite his wounds … despite my words… begging him to hold on … hold on until the doctors came… he continued to whisper to me… " Never forget…Sakura… you're not alone… you're never alone… I'll still… be with you… no… matter… what…
I'll always love you……" he smiled

I smiled sadly as more tears slid down my cheeks…
More petals fell…
I looked up to the clear blue skies… there were no signs of clouds disrupting its plain beauty…
I could see him smiling down at me…
I smiled also…
I finally understand…
