It has been four long years since Yuna journeyed to destroy the eternal fiend known throughout Spira as Sin. Yuna and her guardians worked hard getting past foes, fiends, the teachings of Yevon, priest, and nearly anything you could imagine. But all of that hard work paid off because she managed to defeat Sin. After the defeat of Sin, things seemed calm in the land of Spira. Everybody was happy...except for Yuna. She had brought Spira the eternal calm but was still very unpleased with the outcome of the final battle with Yu Yevon. She was sad because she found out that once she defeated Yu Yevon, there would never be a Sin again. This of course was a good thing but it had its problems. She realized that if Sin is no longer in Spira, then the Dream's of the Faith wouldn't be around anymore. And the person she loved, well, he was a dream. After Yu Yevon was defeated, Tidus was gone and with his disappearence, came much sorrow from Yuna.

Yuna decided to go back to the Isle of Besaid. There she lived with the people she grew up with and the people that journeyed with her. She lived with Wakka and Lulu. Yuna was always amazed by the way that Wakka and Tidus could breath underwater. One day she was practicing and she was making a lot of progress. Not everybody in Spira could hold their breath for about three minutes. Well she decided to call it a day and went back to her village. As she was walking back she was stopped by a strange man. Yuna immediately knew that she had never met this mand. He said he was Yaibal and that he was part of the Youth League. The Youth Leauge was a group of mostly former crusaders and people that just opposed of Yevon. Yuna heard about the Youth League and their rivals New Yevon. Unlike the Youth League, New Yevon had a more civilized group of followers. They were mostly made up of people that still wanted to follow the teachings of Yevon and past priests. Yaibal wanted Yuna to join the Youth League, but Yuna refused. She didn't want to get involved in this quarrel between the two groups. Yuna just kept walking along until she reached the rocky cliff that overlooked the village. There she was reunited with Wakka. She was talking to Wakka when Rikku, another one of her former guardians and cousin, ran up with a very excited face. Rikku said that Kimarhi found a sphere of what looked like Tidus on Mt. Gagazet. They looked at the sphere and it really looked like Tidus, although some feature were kinda off. Rikku suggested to go look for him and Yuna agreed and when Wakka was off at the village, Yuna said she wanted to go right away. She was of and Wakka, Lulu, and the rest of Besaid wouldn't hear of her for the next few days.

After Yuna had taken off of Besaid, she joined the group known as the Gullwings. The Gullwings were a group of sphere hunters. Each had a different background but they all devoted their time and strength into finding spheres, and unraveling the mysteries of Spira's past. Yuna joined because she wanted to try to find more information about Tidus. Well time went by, the Youth League and New Yevon continued to fight and Yuna along with Paine, a silent member of the Gullwings with a very secretive past, found out that the man in the sphere wasn't really Tidus. A new threat faced Spira and it was a giant machina called Vegnagun. History repeated itself when Yuna once again saved Spira from total destruction. With the fall of Vegnagun, the fayth reunited Yuna and the person she loved most, Tidus.

The final story begins shortly after the defeat of Vegnagun.
