Chapter 1
Eren's POV:
When I kissed Queen Historia's hand, I suddenly see a vision that was shown to me. I found myself standing in the paths, and in front of me, a girl is walking with a bucket of water in her hand. I think I recognize this girl, she has to be the Founder Ymir.
"Is that..." I walk towards the girl and say, "Founder Ymir... is that you?"
The Founder looks at me before giving me a nod. "Why? Why did you bring me here? What do you want from me?"
Founder Ymir slowly stands up and shows me what will happen in the future. I see how I attacked what seems to be Reiner's hometown, killing Premier Zackley and also breaking my friendship with Armin and Mikasa. I also use the Rumbling to kill 80% of the people and they are going to stop me...
"Is this the future? Is this how I'm going to die?" Eren asks.
Ymir opens her mouth and says, "I'm sorry...every time..."
"Every time? What do you mean by that?" I ask.
"I've been wandering here for who knows how many years..." Ymir says. "You have tried to free me countless times...every time it ends like this... and I'm tired..."
"Countless times... so you mean every time I want to change the outcome, everything failed in the end?" I ask with slight anger, and Ymir nods. I can't believe it, I heard from Historia that Founder Ymir was a slave and she had been using her Titans to help people until his 13th year when she was assassinated by a Marleyan soldier who tried to kill the king.
After her death, she had been wandering in the Paths for all those years. How did I know that? I guess it must be my Dad's memories again... Of course, I want to free her from this slavery, but she said that every time I did this, it failed in the end and she was sent back in time to who knows when.
"There has to be another way..." I say it out loud, and Founder Ymir just frowns.
"You said that all the time, but none of them worked..." She replies.
"No, there has to be." I say. "I don't want to activate this Rumbling... but if I don't, the world is going to destroy us... I only have 8 years left to live... what exactly can I do about it?"
Then I remember the time when Historia and Rod Reiss touched my back, it causes the memories that were stolen to return to Historia and me as well. Eren says, "Hey, Ymir. Can you break the Vow of renouncing war for me?"
Ymir stares at me with surprise, and she says, "What are you planning?"
"Ymir, you're not a slave, you don't have to listen to that coward King Karl Fritz." Eren says. "Through my eyes, I can show you what freedom looks like."
Ymir stares at Eren before giving a nod, then she takes out an axe and breaks the chains of the renouncing war.
Historia's POV:
"Eren!" Just after I hung the medal around Eren's neck, he kissed my hand as the other scouts did. But just then, I feel some sort of electrical shock, and Eren falls unconscious on the ground.
Every one of the scouts is panicking, as I quickly kneel and try to shake him. "Eren! Are you alright?"
"Damn it, Eren? Why did you have to faint right now..." Captain Levi mutters with slight annoyance as I call two of the Military Police to bring him to the bed nearby.
The award ceremony was cut off because of the sudden accident, Mikasa and I decided to stay by Eren's side while the others are trying to calm the public because of the news.
"Why now?" I frown as I look at Eren's unconscious body, Mikasa is glaring at me and she asks, "You did something to Eren, didn't you?"
"How would I do anything? He was doing the same thing as all of you!" I retort back. "If I did something, then you guys would also be in the same state as Eren as well!"
"Calm down, you two." Armin says. "The Queen has no reason to hurt Eren, Mikasa. You should've known it."
"But..." Mikasa hesitates, and we hear coughing as Eren is slowly waking up.
"Eren! You're awake!" I hug Eren and he seems to be groaning a little. Mikasa breaks our hug and says, "Eren, how are you feeling now?"
"Never been better..." Eren mutters as he starts to sit up. "Why am I here? What's going on?"
"Eren... you passed out during the Medal awards ceremony." I say. "We manage to bring you here."
As he turns to me, I realize that something's not right... his eye, one of them has changed black color. Mikasa and Armin also notice it and Armin says, "Eren! Your eye! What happened?"
"My eye? Oh..." Eren says as he touches his black eye. "I don't know if you're going to believe me... but when I was unconscious, I met the Founder Ymir."
This causes the three of them to widen their eyes in shock. "The Founder... no way..." Historia gasps in shock.
"What did she say to you?" Mikasa asks. "It has to be because of the Founding Titan inside you, right?"
"She showed me the future... a future where the Colossal Titan inside the walls starts to trample around the earth outside of Paradis." Eren says. "And I was the one who did this."
"No way! It has to be a joke, right?" I ask with horror in my eyes. "You won't do that, right? Not everyone outside of Paradis Island is our enemy! Some of them would become victims just like your mother!"
"This is just the first outcome." Eren says. "And the second outcome... I saw the world army attacking Paradis, I saw you guys, every one of you was killed by the weapons they owned, and the island had been turned into ruins..."
Armin asks, "This has to be a joke right... are you telling me that it is either sacrifice the world or the island? What kind of choice is that?"
"Of course, I refuse any one of the choices." Eren says with slight anger. "I would be a damn slave if I follow these choices... one thing is certain: the world is going to get rid of us."
"But it's unfair..." Mikasa mutters.
It really is unfair, the world wants to get rid of us... and the first king also doesn't want us to stay alive...
"That's why we need to come up with a plan... a plan to prove the Founder Ymir wrong. My eye color changed must have meant that Founder Ymir is watching through my eye." Eren says.
"Of course, we'll think about a plan." I assure him. "We will definitely save Paradis while also having peace with the outside world at the same time."
Mikasa says, "The Queen is right. We'll come up with a plan."
Eren nods at us before standing back up. "I'm sorry, I made you guys worried. I'm fine right now."
We nod as we all head out of the room with Eren, and I also gather the Survey Corps members for a meeting.
Eren's POV:
"Are you telling me that four years after, we're going to be attacked by the whole world's enemies? And the only way to stop them is to unleash all of the Colossal Titans in the walls? That is too absurd." Hange says.
"This is what the Founder Ymir told me." I say, knowing that everyone is shocked by my revelation. "It was either the death of every single person in Paradis Island or every single death out the Paradis Island. This is why Reiner and the others broke the wall and my mother was dead... they want to retake the Founder so we wouldn't be able to do the second option: That is, the Rumbling."
Jean says, "But what about trying to negotiate with them? Surely we could do this, right?"
Did they seriously think it will work? I don't know how many times I need to tell them. "The world wants us to be the source of evil, that is their way of having peace. This is what I've seen in the future."
Historia says, "So that's why we need to come up with a plan. Of course, we're going to try to negotiate with the others, but we also need a plan if the negotiations failed."
Everyone in the Scouts starts to think, and I decide to turn to Armin. "Armin. Give me your hand."
"Eh?" Armin is confused but he did, and just when we touch, Armin feels like electricity has zapped him. "What did you..."
"I broke the Vow of Renouncing War inside the Colossal Titan." I explain. "It is not just the Founding Titan, 8 of the 9 Titans have the Vow of Renouncing war inside thanks to the first Reiss King. The only exception is the War Hammer Titan, because their family is the one who helped the Reiss King destroy the whole Eldian Empire."
"Wait, the Vow of Renouncing War?" Hange asks, "You mean the thing that caused you unable to use the powers of the Founding Titan?"
"The thing is, I can actually do it now." I say. "The truth is, I can actually start the Rumbling right now."
"You're not going to do that, please." Historia looks at me with a sad tone, and I frown, the thing is that I don't want to do it as well.
"Of course, I'm not going to do that." I sigh and turn to Armin, "During our fight with Reiner, Bertolt, and my big brother in my hometown. Let's say that we've struggled a lot while battling them... however, none of them are in their full power because of the vow."
"But that means..." Oh great, Hange is becoming back to her usual Titan maniac self. "If we manage to get all of the other Titan powers... we might become unstoppable!"
Get all of the Titan powers... of course! How didn't I think about this? If we manage to break all of the vows, the power of the 9 Titans will be unstoppable!
"You're a genius, Commander Hange." I nod. "Since I'm the Founding Titan... I can just take away their powers and transfer them to myself or other people."
"So you wouldn't need to actually kill Reiner and the others to transfer powers." Sasha says.
I think about doing it right now, but then again, Reiner and the others are probably having a war with the Mid-East Nations. And besides, my brother will be sending some volunteers for Paradis a few months later... maybe I should wait until the declaration of war...
"Eren, what do you think?" Historia asks me.
"I think it is a good plan, however, I think we should still try with the negotiations first. If the future really is set in stone, then I'll take the others' powers then." Eren says. "And at this moment, we can also decide who to get the rest of the Titans."
Everyone nods at me, and suddenly, I feel that my heart is becoming lighter. Founder Ymir... no, mother Ymir... we'll definitely save you and save the whole Paradis.
This is the story that is going to be ErenxMikasaxHistoria, the story is going to be starting from the end of Season 3, and maybe not everything is going to be the same as Season 4. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be the new abilities and going to the ocean.
