Chapter 6

Annie's POV:

Is that guy serious? He just straight up asking me to join him? That is probably the worst joke he could've made. "Why do you even think that I would want to join you? Do you really think that I will work for you just because you ask me politely?"

"My father was an Eldian from Liberio, just like you." I look at him with surprise, was that the reason why he got the Titan? Because his father was also from Marley? Now that I think about it... his last name is Yeager, could it be that Eren is related to Zeke?

"My father was a member of the Eldia Restorationists, his goal was to retake the Founding Titan and restore the Eldia. He refuses to believe in his ancestor's sins since he knew he wasn't there the whole time."

Eldia Restorationists? I thought that all of them were being sent here as punishment because of Zeke...

"However, my father was betrayed by his own son, my brother, Zeke Yeager. And thus he was sent here to Paradis Island." Eren says. "As all hope seems lost for him, he met the shifter that has the Attack Titan, who was in his last year, and he was saved. He snuck into the walls just like you three, or four because you used to have another comrade, I think his name is Marcel, right?"

Wait, he even knew about this? Just how many things did Reiner reveal to him? Eren continues, "My father managed to get to the Founding Titan first, and it was also the day when you guys decided to destroy Wall Maria and caused my mother to be eaten by Titans. And it was also that night my father decided to give me both the Attack and Founding Titan."

So Eren is not one but two Titan shifters? That sure is surprising. "And recently I managed to break the vow of renouncing war in the Founding Titan's body, so you know what it means right? If I want to, I can just unleash the Colossal Titans in the wall and trample outside of Paradis."

Damn... to think that the coordinate was left with the worst person possible... so I guess he didn't do it when I was fighting him because of this vow or some sort. And to think that he's using this to threaten me.

"And why didn't you just take my powers away and leave me killed?" Annie asks me.

"That's because I think that we could both help each other and maybe finally stand on the same side of the conflict." Eren says. "What if I told you that we could bring your father here and finally reunite you two?"

As he said that my mind goes blank for a second. In the beginning, I feel happiness and excitement, but just a few seconds later it is replaced by anger and frustration.

"It's impossible." I say with slight anger. "You can't do that, but I see that you must be really desperate to get my help to lie like this."

"I am a lot of things." Eren says. "Didn't we all spend our time together in these three years? Do you really think that I am a liar?"

Now a little part of me want to protest, but I know that he doesn't have the nerve to just lie.

"And how are you going to do that?"

"I'm sure you're not expecting that I'm the King of Paradis, am I correct?" Eren? The King? That sure has to be the joke.

Armin says, "It's true... while you're sleeping in the crystal, we have been killing a lot of people and overtaking the government. We're not good people like before."

Now I'm speechless... did they seriously overthrow the government and make Eren the King? I thought that they were just about to execute him because he was revealed as a Titan shifter.

Christa says, "Technically I was the queen first before I propose a wedding proposal to Eren. And after two months, Eren also makes Mikasa the second queen of Paradis. So basically the three of us are the rulers of the Paradis."

So Eren's the king while Mikasa and Christa are the queens? Damn, Reiner is going to be very jealous of him.

"We can give you a full amnesty and you will be able to live here with him for as long as you want. The only condition is that you're going to be on our side. We will not use you and throw you away as Marley did, so just join us. We will definitely want another Titan shifter with us. Especially a good friend of ours."

Good friend, huh? After seeing me kill all those people and wanting to get revenge on me, he still thinks of that, huh?

"Nice talk." I smirk at him. "But it's still impossible. As long as I want huh? Eren don't kid with me, both of us know that we have seven years left to live. It doesn't matter what we want. After 7 years both you and I will be dead and we just can't change that."

"Are you sure about that?" Eren smirks at me and I was confused, "Armin and I have already broken the curse, so we're not going to die after seven years."

What? How is that even possible? He has to be bluffing, right? Eren says, "It's true. 3 of the 9 Titans have broken the curse so that they won't die in 13 years. However... if you want to break the curse, we will also need another two of the nine who are willing to help us to break it."

"And it might be impossible for now since the rest of the Titans are in Marley's hands. And that's why we need your help. If we manage to get two more Titans to our side, we can break all three of the curses at the same time." Eren says.

I was really confused as I want to understand what he was talking about. What if he really isn't lying, what if there is a way?

"So join us. You have my word that everything I said will happen if you help us. We will bring your father here, you will be forgiven for all the things you've done here and will have the full right to live on the island as a free citizen." Historia says.

"We once were friends Annie, and as much as you don't want to admit it, deep down you know that you trust us." Mikasa says. I stare at her, is this the same girl who would try to fight me because of what I did to Eren a few years ago?

"So now is the time to make the decision. Are you in?" Eren asks, reaching his open hand to me as I look at him, still unsure of what should I do.

"So what would you even want me to do if I said yes?" I ask.

"You will be joining the Survey Corps just like most of us." Eren replies, "Mikasa, Historia, and I might not be there all the time, but I'm sure that Armin will help you with everything."

Historia? Does she mean Christa? Since when did she have a new name? But since Armin is the Colossal Titan, I guess it will be fine if I help him out.

"Fine, I'm in." I grab his hand, but suddenly, I feel an electric shock on me as I tense a little.

"Are you okay?" Eren asks me, and I shake it off and ask, "What did you just do?"

"I unlock the Vow of renouncing war inside of the Female Titan." Eren says, "All but the War Hammer Titan have a vow of renouncing wars, and unfortunately, Marley doesn't know anything about it. You will be able to achieve a higher skill and you will be able to use the Titan powers outside of Titan as well.

I look at him with shock, my Titan powers aren't really that weak, but he said that I could be stronger than my current state... "How strong will it be?"

"Let's say I finally get to beat Mikasa in a sparring." Eren turns to Mikasa with a smirk, who gives him a slight scowl. If that's how strong it is... then I definitely want to try it out.

Eren's POV:

"Are you serious? You're going to propose the Female Titan into the Survey Corps?" Captain Levi is glaring daggers at me, and Hange is just staying silent. "How did you know she won't try to backstab us and kill the rest of us?"

I know this is going to happen, and Historia comes to the rescue, "All of us from the 104th know Annie better than you do. And all she wants is to reunite with her father, that's why she did unforgivable things."

"But she killed a lot of Stohess innocents, and also a lot of the Survey Corps members." "Yeah, we shouldn't have let her live!"

I say, "Since the Female Titan was able to kill even the best squad in the Survey Corps back then, do you guys have the strength to kill her like you want to? I admit I was there when I watched her kill all those people, and I also wanted her dead. However, the world would not wait to attack us, and we wouldn't have time to train another Female Titan. And my proposal is that Annie to leave in the care of the Survey Corps."

"I see... if that's the case, we'll give her a chance. Levi, if she betrays us, will you have the honor to kill her once we take her powers away?" Zachary asks.

"It's not like anyone could do it." Levi sighs. "I trust you this time, King."

And after the trial for Annie ends, Annie is also brought to the Survey Corps. She isn't expecting to see Jean, Connie, and Sasha still alive, Jean says, "If Eren trust you, then we'll trust you as well. However, what happened to Marco, I am not going to forgive you for that."

"I understand." Annie lowers her head.

"And now we'll begin the training." I say, and this time Historia is with us because she also wants to see our training. Annie starts to turn into a Titan by using the Ring to cut her finger, and once she becomes the Female Titan, I also turn into one as I'm going to spar with her.

I come out of the nape and say, "Annie... if you can hear me. Your highest ability is known as Petrified Blink. Try focusing and blinking at the same time."

Annie stares at me before blinks, and just then, everyone is unable to move.

"What the... I can't move..." Hange says.

"We can't move as well..." Armin says.

But just as Annie blinks again, we're able to move again. Hange asks, "What was that? For some reason my body is petrified..."

"Petrified Blink can make those within 100 yards of her stop moving until she blinks again." Eren says.

Annie comes out of her Titan and says, "To think such a powerful move exists..."

"Now it is my turn." I say as I get into the Titan and prepare to attack Annie. Annie tries to kick me, but I quickly slower the time and go behind Annie and body slam her to the ground. I can tell that Annie is shocked since she doesn't know how I was able to move that fast.

Annie comes out of her Titan and I did the same. "What was that move?"

"That is the ability of the Attack Titan: Time Manipulation. I can manipulate time so I can dodge your attack and get behind you." I say.

Annie now stares at me out of respect, and then we decide to continue the training.
