AN: Hey. I guess this is my first story from "Furuba". Don't flame please. It is only the first chapter so it won't be that good, but trust me, it will get better.

Disclaimer: I do not own "Fruits Basket" and never will. -sigh- I wish I did.... All those bishies.... -gets a dreamy look on face and then blinks, shaking her head- Any ways....To the story!

Winter's Snows and the New Spring's Rains...

The rain dripped, dropped to the ground. He walked through it in silence and selfness. He had to go there. He didn't want to. He wanted to just run, run away from there and stay away from the estate. He didn't want to see the god. He would much rather fight the neko, then to go there. He had to go though. He had to see Akito.

The god made him go to the estate almost daily now. He always despised going, and now he didn't have much of a chose to go now. He had to risk the memories of Honda Tohru being erased. He did not wish that to happen to the girl. She had been through so much with the family as it is. But maybe, just maybe, if her memories were erased, her life would be less stressful and she wouldn't have to overcome the stresses and complications of being stuck knowing about the Sohma curse.

Yuki approached the estate now. He went inside and walked up the path. He stood at the door of Akito's and listened. He just stood there, listening. He did not here anything, but silence. In fact, he did not here much sound around the estate. All that could be heard was the drip drip, drop drop of the rain.

He breathed in a deep sigh and slid open the door to the house. He slid off his shoes and stepped inside. Looking around, he saw nothing. Was today another day for Akito's appointments? The nezumi thought about that and realized that it probably was. He sighed another sigh and walked out after sliding on his shoes. He headed away from the house.

The rain started to get heavier. Drip drip drip, drop drop drop. It was faster as well. He couldn't go out in this weather, but he didn't want to go and stay at Akito's all night. He had to stay somewhere.

Then, it reached him. He could stay at the Sohma's house that he seemed to trust the most.He felt that he could get closest to that Sohma.

He ran to the house, that he planned on going to. He slid to a stop at the door. His hair dripped from the rain as he stood under the roof of the house, and his clothes stuck to his body. He knocked on the door.

The two-toned haired Sohma stood there. His eyes widdened a bit, as he saw a soaked Yuki there. He was shocked to see Yuki there. It was raining all day and he didn't think that anyone would go out into the streets in this kind of weather.

Yuki spoke softly as he talked to the ushi. "Hello, Haru. May I come in for a while? Until the rain calms at least?"

Haru nodded. "Of course." He stepped aside, allowing the soaked nezumi by.

Yuki smiled a bit. "Thank you..." He said as he slid off his shoes and stepping inside.

The ushi closed the door behind the nezumi, locking it, as he did.
