Summary: Harry, Ron and everyone had someone except for Hermione. But after all…she had someone who loves her more than anyone could ever love someone.

Christmas Story

Hermione walked through the think snow that was covering the grounds of Hogwarts. She looked everywhere and smiled as she saw her best friends...with someone else. Her smile faded…her best friends had someone…and she doesn't.

She was alone walking back and forth. She was bored and so decided to go inside her room. As soon as she peeked out of the window, she saw a lot of lover…holding hands and cuddling. She sighed…she had no one to cuddle with.

Hermione watched the couples amusingly. Some couples danced upon the white snow and some remained sitting. Her heart craved for someone too but everyone felt inferior around her since she's the best student.

She bit her lower lip and sighed once more. She really wanted someone to love and care for her. She got her coat and headed out. She walked through the think snow once more as her eyes swept across the grounds.

Just when she was feeling alone, someone tapped her shoulder and smiled at her. She looked up on him and smiled back. "Why the empty smile?" he asked and sat beside Hermione.

Hermione looked at him carefully "Are you just here to annoy me, Wood?" she asked cockily.

Wood smiled "Of course not," he replied as he stared at Hermione's face.

Hermione stared back at him "What…is there something on my face?" she asked.

Wood shook his head "No…just your beauty." Oliver said with a sweet smile on his face.

Hermione's face flushed in red as she heard those.

Oliver cocked a brow "Suddenly felt hot?" he asked.

Hermione shook her head and looked in another direction "Of course not…after all…it's Christmas today."

Oliver raked Hermione brown hair "I like your hair," he started.

Hermione looked at him in a puzzled way 'Is he just trying to cheer me up?' she asked herself.

Wood shook his head "I'm not just trying to cheer you up," he answered "If that's what you're thinking of." He added in.

Hermione frowned "What then?" she asked.

Oliver shrugged and looked at his right direction "Just hint you about something,"

Hermione thought deeper 'What could it be?' she thought curiously. She then looked at him "What are you trying to hint then?" she asked.

Wood shrugged and stood up "I don't know about you…but as for me…I love Hermione Granger more than anyone could ever love you." He smiled and left.

Hermione rolled her eyes but as she realized the name that Wood mentioned…Hermione's eyes widened and blushed "For Merlin's sake…Wood loves ME." She realized and watched Wood walk away.
