This is my 1st story and also it is a sort story it's king of romantic and it's something that would only happen in a dream.

A New Year

Inuyasha and Kagome have been wanting to date for a long time but their feelings have been so mixed and well lets just say that they are afraid to tell each other how they feel.

Inuyasha has been wanting to ask Kagome if she wanted to go to his house and watch the ball drop so he sucked up all the courage he had and asked her.

So was wearing a dark blue sweater and blue jeans her black hair was hanging loosely near her neck. She said that she would but on one condition she would bring Songo and Miroku with her.

He also agreed as long as Miroku did not grope anyone.

Inuyasha and Kagome were blushing because this is the closest they have come to even well admitting that they liked each other.

Kagome walked up to Inuyasha's stairs and was very sacred well she was more nervous that she was really scared. She lifted her hand and knocked on the door.

Inuyasha was surprised that she came so early maybe this would be a good night any way. He was just as nervous as she was so they did not say much.

Shortly after Miroku and Sango came but they were both acting very weird. They were even hand in hand. Now that to Inuyasha and Kagome was very weird but they figured that may be that meant that Inu and Kagome would even well you can only imagine.

It was 5 min till midnight and they had the TV on waiting for the ball to drop. They all had a glass of red champagne in there hands so that when the time came they could drink it and then well they would all make there new years resolutions.

10...9…8…7…6...5…4…3…2…1… Happy New Year!!!!!!

Sango and Miroku kissed and so Inuyasha went for it he looked at Kagome and well they kissed. Inuyasha asked Kagome if she loved him and she said Yes. Inu was so glad to hear that because he told her that she loved her too.

When the time came to give out there new years resolutions Kagome said, well mine is simple something that I will always do I love Inuyasha and well now that we are dating.

I will always love someone.

Inuyasha was so glad to hear that he said his was the same but he changed the words a little bit.

Inuyasha and Kagome kiss and well that's the end.
