Red Witches:

In response to The Crucible by Arthur Miller

In a time not so distant, the righteous stand bound,

Hampered by truth while the wicked are crowned;

Hypocrisy's virtue and honesty's vice,

Diabolical glory is heralded twice,

For perjury spreads like a well-timed disease,

And innocents hang for ungodly misdeeds;

Lie and be spared, tell truth and be killed,

Joy is the cardinal earth with blood spilled,

For in G-d's holy Name we send devils to die,

And all along Lucifer grins in the sky.
