When they came out of the patients room, they didn't know what to do. They had done everything they could and more. But he couldn't seem to move. Something inside him was broken. Every time someone would try and make him talk, he would just open his mouth but no noise would come out. Risa had turned him down before, what made this time any different. He couldn't even change into Dark anymore.
"We have to do something Daisuke, you can't just lie in bed all day! WE can't just lie in bed all day, if you won't get up for yourself, then do it for me! I can't do anything without you."
"There are other fish in the Sea..."
Now Dark had done it. Too Daisuke there was no one else. And In his mind, sense there was no way for them to be together there was no reason for him "to be" at all.
"Well..." said Emiko, we'll just have to find a way to make him fall in love with someone else."
"Well did you have someone in mind, or were you just shooting blanks." Her husband replied.
"If this keeps up... he may lose his connection with Dark prematurely... and Dark will be gone, without the possibility of return." Grandpa said solemnly.
Then the Doctor quietly came into the waiting room, "Well it looks like you can take him home in a few days , but I don't know. It looks like he fell from a great height. You can tell from the signs of severe spinal trauma all along these vertebrae," the doctor said holding u an x-ray " he should be able to walk just fine in a few weeks. But there is still the matter of him not speaking or not being able to speak, none of these injuries should be preventing him from talking. Maybe you know something that might've happened to him, or maybe you don't, but I still think you should let him see someone that specializes in emotional trauma, and suicide preven..."
"My Daisuke would never try to commit suicide! He was pushed, he would never..." she broke off into short sobs as her father and husband comforted her, while giving the Doctor an apologetic look.
Meanwhile...
"It looks like I'm going to have to bring out the Big Guns." Dark thought to himself, "I don't know how long my link with Daisuke will hold if he can't feel anything. I guess it is time to find Daisuke a girlfriend.
What does Dark mean by "Big Guns". And could Diasuke really try to kill himself. Find out in the next exciting chapter of this particular story.
