My stomache was filled with butterflies as I ran down to the library where I had first met Scamp.

He had given me a feeling that I had never experienced, not even with Tanner, my x-boyfriend.

Back to where the earth the sun the stars all aligned

When I got there, he was already there waiting for me.

'Cause perfect didn't feel so perfect

Trying to fit a square into a circle

Was no life

"Hey." he said to me, "Ready?"

I defy

I smiled at him and replied, " Yep!" I had decided earlier that day that I was gonna tell him that I loved him.

He took me down an alley. I sniffed the air. Something smelled really good! I looked up, and saw a big sign on top of the building. It said "Tony's". Inside, I saw a fat man and a little skinny man making spaggetti.

And wake my dreams

Let it wash away

My sanity

Scamp walked up to the door. He barked and scratched the door.

'Cause I wanna feel the thunder

Then the big man, whose name was Tony, came out and said, " Oh, it'sa Butch's litle sona Scamp!" He looked at me, and smiled. Then he called the skinny man and said, " They needa some spaggetti pronto!"

I'm shedding

Shedding every color

"He's gonna get us some food, kay?" Scamp whispered to me.

Trying to find a pigment of truth

Beneath my skin

I smiled and nodded silently.

Cause different

Doesn't feel so different

Tony went inside the restraunt and came out with a steaming plate of spaggetti. Scamp and I grinned and licked our chops. We sat down and prepared to chow down.

And going out is better than always staying in

A sudden gust of wind blew me into Scamp's arms.

He smiled down at me and I blushed.

Then I rememberd that I had planned on telling Scamp that I loved him. I took a deep breath and began to speak.

"Scamp?"

And wake my dreams

"Yes?"

"There's something I need to tell you."

"Ok, then. Tell me what's on your mind."

I sighed and replied, " Well, when I met you today, I realized something very important."

Cause I wanna feel the thunder

Scamp frowned and said, "What?"

"I...uh...I love you."

"You do?" Scamp asked, totally shocked.

"Yes."

"Oh, Magenta, that's wonderful to know, because I love you too." Scamp cried, and hugged me.

Scamp pulled me into a kiss. I blushed, and returned it.
