Always Damp

In Azkaban the cells are always damp

You see no windows to let in rain

No Muggle plumping, no water down the drain

But the air is full of water from the tears

Your head is cold and clammy from your fears

You know you want to die from all the pain

You need something besides the misery's reign

The sadness soaks you through and never leaves

Your sanity, which is lost, forever grieves

You live to die the day when all is lost

Your lifeless body lying, cold as frost.
