Hope's Peak Academy, a massive private High School that dominates the prime real estate in Central Tokyo. All of its students excel in various fields. Academics, sports, arts...Even things that aren't very nice.

One day, three new students dressed in a bizarre manner arrived at the front of the academy.

"Oh, here we are." said the blond boy with a soft italian accent.

the three went inside the academy reality warped before their eyes.

"What the-?!" said Jolyne.

"Is this..." thought Josuke.

"...A enemy stand attack?!" thought Giorno.

The three lost their senses.

Later, the three woke up in a mysterious classroom.

"Huh? W-Where...am I?" thought Giorno. He also saw Josuke and Jolyne inside the classroom, who were still sleeping. "Hey. Guys, wake up!"

"Ngh...huh?" said Josuke.

"We're...in a classroom? Weren't we in the main hall a moment ago?" said Jolyne.

"Yeah, how much time have passed since we fainted?" said Giorno.

"Wait, look!" said Josuke. "there's something on the desk!"

Giorno took the note on the teacher's desk. Weirdly, it was written in 4 languages: English, Japanese, Italian and German.

The note says:

"Das nächste Semester steht kurz vor dem Start. Ab heute wird diese Schule Ihre ganze Welt sein."

"Why is it written in 4 languages?" asked Jolyne.

"Maybe it's because there foreign people here." said Josuke.

"I agree, the note is in Italian because of me. So that means there are Germans and English speakers here." said Giorno.

The three left the classroom and explored the school and eventually went to the gym and found out that there were other students with them, 13, to be exact.

"There are other students here." said a bespectacled young man with wavy dark hair.

All the students turned to the stage.

The "thing" that spoke was monocromatic bear named Monokuma.

All of the students were visibly confused.

"Greetings! I'm Monokuma, the Headmaster of this school!" said the bear.

"...Is that a bear?" said Tanya.

"I'm not a bear! I'm Monokuma!" said Monokuma.

"AH! IT SPEAKS!" said Izuku.

"Calm down, it's probably a robot." said Loid.

"That's right! I'm such a sophisticate robot that I have a technology that not even NASA can recreate or comprehend it!" said Monokuma.

"Anyway, let's commence with our entrance ceremony! First, let's talk about what your school life here will be like." he continued. "Since you guys are the hope of the world, And to protect said hope, you all will live togheter solely with the confines of the school until you die!"

Everyone was shocked.

"D-Did he just said..."Until the day we d-die...?" said Toko.

"But fear not! We have quite an abundant budget, so you won't lack for all common conveniences." said Monokuma.

"Nobody gives a shit about the budget, it's the last of our problems." said Yoshikage.

"Yeah, what the hell? you're saying that we have to live here forever?" said Junko.

"You're joking...right?" said Izuku.

"I'm not lying! All that I've said is 100% true!" said Monokuma. "And also, you're completely isolated from the rest of the world."

"That explains the metal plates all over the school." said Loid.

"What's the matter? You've just gotten inside Hope's Peak Academy and you already want to leave? Well, good news! There's actually a little clause for leaving..." said Monokuma.

"If a student were to disrupt the harmony that you must have in order to live togheter, only they will be allowed to leave the school." said the monochromatic bear.

"Define "Disrupt the harmony"." said Kaguya.

"Upupu...Well, you know...If one person murder another." said Monokuma

Everyone was shocked from the news.

"M-Murder?!" said Aoi.

"That's right! Stabbing, Strangling, Drowing...it doesn't murder. If you murder someone, you will be allowed to leave!

"Stop saying nonsense! As if we slaughter ourselves like beasts..." said Funny Valentine.

"Nonsense? It's not. That's the truth. If you want to leave, then go kill someone!" said Monokuma.

"S-Stop joking around! This has gotten way to far..." said Josuke.

"Joke? You mean like your hair?" said Monokuma. Suddenly, all of the fear Josuke had turned to anger.

"Uh oh..." thought Giorno and Jolyne.

"What...did you say...ABOUT MY HAIR?!" Josuke summoned his stand, Crazy Diamond and did a stand barrage.

"DORARARARARARARARARARARARARARA!"

After Josuke's stand did the barrage, Monokuma exploded.

"W...What just happened?" Everyone thought except Josuke, Giorno, Valentine and Yoshikage.

"Wait...does that mean that the teddy bear has been destroyed?" asked Chihiro.

"Like I said, I'm not a teddy bear! I'm Monokuma!" said another copy of Monokuma.

"There's more of them?!" said Aoi, shocked.

"Hmmm...For this time, I'll let that slide. But next time, you will seriously regret it! Moving on, here's something that will be vital here, your personal E-Handbook! Cool, isn't it?" said Monokuma. Here will display all of your information and the rule of the Academy. You better read them, because any violation will not be tolerated. Now, see ya!" Monokuma disappeared.

"I...don't have words." said Ren, trying to elaborate what in the world just happened.

"We have to l-live here forever...? Or...k-kill?" said Toko, scared.

"Calm down, will you?" L finally spoke, revealing that he has a English accent. "Let's summarise everything he said.

"It appears that we only have two choices. The first is that we stay here and living togheter until we'll die. The second option is..."

"That we kill someone if we want to get out of here, correct?" said Tanya.

"But...killing someone...that's..." said Chihiro, on the verge of crying.

"This must be a joke, an awful joke..." said Izuku.

"It doesn't matter if it's a joke or not." said Kaguya. "The problem is..."

"Is there anyone who has the intention to do so?" said Lelouch.

A cloud of hostility was on the students. Everyone was staring at eachother with suspect. "Is someone going to betray us?" that's what they thought.

Hope's Peak Academy, the school of hope, was soon to become...
