PROLOGUE

Just way outside of the big city, nestled a small country neighborhood almost close to the wilderness of the forest. It was a small but quaint neighborhood community, peaceful and refreshing lifestyle. Everywhere you look you feel that you can get in touch with forest around you. Those who even visit from the city can feel it's peaceful vibes around. From great houses, great neighbors, to the community's history and structure, and an amazing scenery of yards to the actual forest. Just about anyone around can feel at home in the community.

And that's just how one couple felt.

They had just moved from the big city, wanting to start their new lives. It was there they found the perfect home for them. They had settled into their new home, their house was nice and beautiful, definitely had a history behind it given it a Victorian architectural style feel, with big enough field space in the backyard and just as almost close to the forest. Plus the house was big enough for those to start a family.

The couple sat outside on their porch, just looking at their amazing backyard forest view as the sun was setting over the trees.

The couple were just into their late 20's, from twenty-seven for the wife and twenty-eight for the husband. The husband had reddish orange hair, had a fair complexion and interesting enough he had dark orange eyes. The husband's attire, he wore a orange shirt with a white horizontal stripe, he wore dark blue jeans and white runners on. His wife was a beautiful woman, had long flowing ginger orange hair that ran down her back like a waterfall, she too had a fair complexion, and she had orange colored eyes. Her attire that she wore was a simple light flowy orange summer dress with some white flower design, just comfortable enough for her and wore sandals on her feet. Even those around who would look at her could even tell she was beautiful. She was even more beautiful now that she had a glow, being that she was at least 9 months pregnant.

And so there the husband and wife just sat on their porch swing, the wife snuggled deep in her husband's chest as he had his arm wrapped around her. Both just sat continuing to look at the view in front of them.

"Wow" the husband said.

"Mm..." the wife agreed with a heavenly sigh

"Wow..."

"Mm-hmm..."

"Wow..."

"Yes Marlin," the wife said, stopping him knowing their little conversation was going back and forth "I see it, and it's beautiful" she replied to him. "So Coral, when you said you wanted the forest view, you didn't expect you get the whole forest, did you, huh?" he replied to her as he sat up and began to help her up as well.

There Marlin took a deep breath, taking in the forest air and outstretched his arms, feeling at peace. "Oh yeah. A man can breath out here!" he exclaimed as he exhaled "Did your man deliver, or did he delivered?" he asked his wife with a proud smile "My man delivered" Coral replied as she gently rubbed her round belly. Marlin feeling proud what he heard turned back to her "And it wasn't so easy" "Because a whole lot of couples had their eyes on this place" Coral said playfully smirked and rolling her eyes "You better believe they did, every single one of them" Marlin replied to her, still looking at their new home.

Coral smiled warmly at her husband and gently took his hand, both walked around the porch "You did good, and the neighborhood is awesome" Coral told him and both looked at their new neighborhood.

Yes indeed, their neighborhood was amazing, even if most of the homes were close to the forest it was still a lively community. There were people around going on their daily lives. A couple of kids were laughing as they played hide-and-seek, a young teen couple walking by passed the kids as they were holding their hands. There were two mothers walking side by side as they pushed their baby strollers and chatted with eachother of latest gossip. In one yard an elderly man was working on his lawn as his grandson came to help him. It was without a doubt a great perfect neighborhood, all having fun, working together and just enjoying the company.

Marlin was watching their new neighbors going on their day and smiled to himself, but when he turned to Coral he noticed a look on her face, something was troubling her. His smile slowly vanished "So, you do like it, don't you?" "No, no, no no. I do, I do, I really do like it" Coral said placing her hand on his shoulder, reassuring that she really did like it, but there was something else on her mind. "But Marlin," she began as she lead them back around to the porch swing.

"I know that the forest and field is desirable, with great location, high quality, great community with a great school system and all. But do we really need so much space?" Coral listed her concern looking back at their new house. For a moment Marlin looked a bit taken back but chuckled lightly "Coral. Honey, these are our kids we're talking about, they deserve the best!" Marlin told her and held her hands in his. He then ran down the porch "Look look! Just imagine," he said and began to reenact "Our kids, they'd wake up, they poke their little heads to look outside at the forest and see a deer! Or maybe an eagle flying by their window!" he expressed, doing some actions as if that will play out, seeing this made Coral laugh at her husband's excitement.

Coral soon gasped and hissed and had her hands to her belly "Looks like the kids are restless and eager as you are Marlin" she said as she slowly sat back on the porch swing. Marlin walked back onto the porch, as he was soon close enough to his wife he bent down to her swollen belly and placed a hand "Hello in there Little Sea Monkeys. You giving Mommy a hard time?" he began to talk to the babies inside. Coral watched her husband with a smile "Just so you know, that's actually my job" Marlin whispered "Hey!" Coral heard him and playfully slapped the back of his head "Okay, I deserve that" Marlin spoke out, making Coral giggle even more.

As Coral sat she gently rubbed her belly with one hand, and her other hand placed by Marlin's head, letting her fingers gently tangle her husband's hair. She smiled as she watched Marlin gently placing his head on her swollen pregnant belly, wanting to listen or feel their kids inside and enjoying the feel of his wife's touch of her fingers stroking his hair. They stayed in this position in silence, a peaceful bliss between the soon to be parents.

"We still have to think of names you know" Coral gently spoke out breaking the silence "You wanna think of names right now?" Marlin looked back up to her, seeing her nod. "Okay, we'll name one baby 'Marlin Jr.' And the other baby 'Coral Jr.' Okay we're done" Marlin told her and went back to listening the babies, Coral still smiled and rolled her eyes. "And the third baby?" Coral asked him, Marlin looked back up with a grin "Well there are never enough 'Marlins' and 'Juniors' in the world" "Stop!..." Coral laughed again and playfully nudged her husband.

However she was serious, she wanted her baby to have a good and unique name. Something different, something special. Something that's more unique than any name. Coral looked down at her pregnant stomach as she gently stroked it as she was in thought. There she had thought of a name and spoke out "I like Nemo..."

Hearing this Marlin perked up "Nemo..." he repeat. Marlin turned to Coral as she warmly smiled, he knew his wife wanted something special and unique. And Marlin had to admit the name does somehow had a nice ring to it. "Well we'll name one baby Nemo. I like at least one of them to be 'Marlin Jr.'" he said.

"Just think a couple more days, we're going to be parents!" Coral squealed, getting all giddy knowing that indeed her due date was coming soon. "Yeah..." Marlin smiled warmly, still having his hand on her belly. Both couldn't wait until the day comes their babies will be born, knowing they will officially be a family. However a worrying thought occurred to Marlin as his smile slowly disappeared "...What if they don't like me?" he spoke out loud.

"Marlin..." Coral groaned as she tried to get up "No really" Marlin replied, as he helped his wife up. "We are having triplets, odds are one of them is bound to like you" Coral told her husband, reassuring him. To Marlin, he knew Coral was trying to make him feel better, both of them knew that Marlin will be a great dad to their kids.

And so Coral and Marlin shared a smile as Coral planted a kiss on Marlin's lips, giving him more reassurance that everything will be fine. She began to walk back inside their house.

Marlin just stood as he watched his wife disappearing inside their new home. He began to smile, knowing he was a lucky man to have someone like Coral. Not a day goes by without having Coral on his mind. Everything about her just seemed perfect to Marlin. She was just so smart, kind and understanding, and beautiful, inside and out. It was no wonder he fell head over heels for her the first time they met.

He remembered it so well...

All Marlin's life he dreamed of being a comedian. He hoped one day to be one of the best comedians of all time. From the first moment he told a joke he enjoyed making people laugh, whether be from his jokes to his impressions. He just loved to hear people laugh and see them smile. He continued to make people laugh throughout his childhood, and was even voted as Class Clown 4 years running back in high school.

In college he applied to study Marine Biology, just to please his dad. His father, Albert Clowfisch, wanted him to continue on the family Marine Biology profession, believing to continue with family tradition. To his father, he believed that comedy was just a phase, or a hobby and nothing more. He wanted Marlin to be serious and think of his life ahead of him, and not be a clown. So Marlin did apply for Marine Biology courses, and sure it was fascinating to learn about the marine world, but his heart belonged for the stage.

There Marlin noticed that the on campus club was searching for some entertainment, Marlin thought this would help him getting close to his comedian dream. He applied a part-time job as an comedian entertainer, and was hired on the spot when he told the owner one of his jokes, which he couldn't stop laughing.

And so that was pretty much Marlin's lifestyle, he would go to class and study, then would go to work and entertain people. When he was on stage it felt like he was the King of Comedy. He even got a stage name, calling himself; Marlin 'Clownfish' Clowfisch. Was an odd name, but it suited him. Every time when he was on stage performing one of his jokes and impressions, people just roared with laughter until they had no air left, having tears in their eyes and ribs cracked from all the laughing. During so on campus many students would recognize him, even in his classes, knowing he was a big hit and almost becoming one of the great comedians.

One show everything changed, as Marlin performed his joke, he heard everyone laugh, but one laugh caught his ears. He looked into the audience and there he saw her, Coral Nemone. He recognized Coral in his classes, she too was studying to be a Marine Biologist. Marlin remembered seeing her a couple of times in classes, from the first moment he caught a glimpse of her, he thought he was staring at an angel. Every so often he would catch glimpses of Coral, his heart would beat fast and his face turned red. Of course they were two different people, she probably wanted someone serious and not someone who goes through life clowning around.

But here Coral was, sitting at the table and watching Marlin as he told the audience his jokes. It began to happen a few times for the past week. Everyday when Marlin performs, Coral would sit at her usual table and watch him perform. In class Coral always found Marlin looking so shy, but when he was on stage he was a whole new person, a person that Coral wanted to get to know.

One day, on that day was a start of a change for both of them. After Marlin performed and everyone applauded for him, Coral the loudest. So everyone was cleaning up and leaving, but Coral stayed behind as she decided to walk over to Marlin just when he was about to leave. "Marlin that was so funny!" she told him "Thanks Coral" he replied "I'll tell you I may never look at Professor Parot again without thinking of her like an actual parrot" she laughed. Marlin blushed, hearing Coral laugh was so beautiful just like her. It was like heaven when he heard her laugh.

"So-" they began which both lightly laughed and both began to blush as they looked away. Marlin turned back to her "Coral..." "Yes?" "There's something I want to ask you..." "Yes?" Coral looked into Marlin's eyes, his face began to turn a dark shade a red. He had to tell her, now or never. "I think I got something on my lip, can you look at it to see if it's there or not?" he asked her, Coral was surprised and leaned to look "Well I don't see any-" before she could continue she felt his lips on her. Marlin leaned back and looked at a shocked Coral, he looked away and was so embarrassed. She now probably thought he was a creep and doesn't want to speak to him again "I-I'm sorry Coral, I didn't mean-!" he was cut off when he heard Coral giggle which soon turned to a laugh.

Marlin looked thinking she was laughing at him, and she was, but it wasn't a mean way, it was in a lovely way. Once Coral caught her breath, smiled back at him "You make me laugh Marlin...and I like that" she told him. Marlin smiled hearing this "Well, I like hearing you laugh" he replied to her. Both stared at eachother lovingly.

From that day on, Marlin and Coral began to date one another. Everyone on campus knew the two were officially together. They would sit together, study together, eat lunch together, basically doing everything together. And days when Marlin was performing, Coral sat at her usual table to watch him entertain people.

Marlin told Coral why he took courses for Marine Biology, to please his dad to follow the family footsteps, he even told her that he dreamed to be a comedian. Coral was so supportive of his dream, knowing that making people laugh was something he wanted to do. And she was proud he had a dream he wanted to follow. She told him the reason she wanted to be a Marine Biologist cause she loved the sea and to one day explore it. One conversation even came to Coral one day, both were studying together like always and Coral began to ask Marlin about his stage name, although it was sorta funny and somehow fitting, but why was it 'Clownfish?' So Marlin told Coral that he never told anyone, he told her that his stage name being 'Clownfish' was in fact sorta a play on for his last name Clowfisch but also because Clownfish was his favorite type of fish. Hearing this surprised Coral and told him that Clownfish was her favorite fish as well. Both looked surprised and smiled lovingly as they had something in common, their favorite fish was Clownfish.

Everyday Marlin admired Coral more and more, not just her beauty but her heart, so smart and caring. Coral began to see Marlin for who he was, he was cute and funny but he was also easy going and caring for the people around him. No doubt both were following their dreams no matter what path would lead them. It was that path Marlin knew he wanted Coral in his life.

One night as Marlin was performing and telling his jokes, he was about to sign off for the night but he spoke he was going to do something special for the audience. Marlin called Coral up on the stage, this shocked Coral as she got up and stood there looking a bit out of place. She was then more shocked as she saw Marlin getting down on one knee. At first Coral thought it was one of his jokes, but when she looked into his dark orange eyes she could tell this was no joke. There Marlin spoke that Coral was the most amazing person in his life and was supportive of his dream, and mention that his dream wouldn't be complete without her in it. Marlin then pulled out a smile box to reveal a beautiful ring with a ocean blue stone in the middle, and asked her the familiar simplest words "Will you marry me?" Coral was in tears at first it scared Marlin she might say 'No.' But she gave a watery smile, having no words she cried and gave her reply "Yes! Yes yes! A thousand times yes!" causing Marlin to smile at her response, he got up and slipped the ring on her finger and both shared a kiss. The audience cheered and applauded for the newly betrothed couple.

No doubt that their parents were overjoyed by the news, Marlin's father welcomed Coral with open arms knowing that there was someone in his son's life that makes him happy. Coral's parents were over the moon, they just knew from the start when Coral talked about Marlin that he was right for their daughter.

However they still wanted to finish college before officially starting their life together, once they got their degrees that's when they decided to get married. And so it was planned, once the two graduated from college they began to plan their wedding. Marlin knew that Coral loved the sea and decide to have a wedding on the beach.

It was a sunny day and not a cloud in sight, just perfect for a beautiful beach wedding. Marlin recalled when he first watched Coral walking towards him, how beautiful she looked in her wedding dress, wearing pearled earrings and necklace and her orange hair was wavy as if it was the oceans waves and had a little pearl accessories in her hair and a shell hair clip. Coral smiled to see Marlin looking handsome in his tuxedo, wore an orange bow tie, but she had to giggle little cause his cufflinks were little clownfish, their favorite fish after. Both gazed to one another and shared a smile, both made their vows to always love and support them no matter what the future brings them and to support their dreams on their paths ahead for them. Both said their 'I dos' and kissed as the newly couple of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Clowfisch.

Their wedding was without a doubt beautiful, and the reception was just perfect. Marlin and Coral shared their first dance as husband and wife, fed eachother a slice of their wedding cake, and thanked their friends and family for coming and joined in a couple of dances. Both of them snuck away from the party as they both looked at the sun setting on the beach, seeing the beautiful colors. They stared at the view as they cuddled together in their arms.

Marlin spoke that nothing else could make their lives even more perfect, Coral replied that one thing could make it even perfect for them.

During their first night together as husband and wife, was a whole lot different and intimate than the times they slept together before. Marlin was a bit worried, asking her what if he hurt her. Coral smiled warmly, placing her hand to his cheek, telling him that he would never hurt her and reassured him that she loves him. However Coral smiled as Marlin always was concern for her well being, always gently with his touch, and always asks her if she was okay, that was something she loved about Marlin whenever they decided to get more intimate in bed together. It had been a beautiful and intimate time they shared that night, both exhausted but felt bliss in their love for one another, after both turned to one another and whispered 'I love you' before sleep welcomed them.

And so they began to start their new lives as husband and wife. Marlin still aimed his goal to be a comedian, getting a job at a popular club, Coral supporting him every step of the way. Coral got offered a job working at a Marine Institute to do underwater field work, Marlin knew she had to take it knowing her dream to explore the sea. Overall, things have never been more better for the both of them, but something else was going to make their lives more better.

One day as Marlin came home from another great day at his job at the club, enjoying what he did best, he walked through the door where he saw Coral greeting him. Marlin couldn't put his finger on it but she was more giddier and noticed a 'glow' about her, he however noticed she was also home to which Coral spoke that she didn't want to do field work anymore. This confused Marlin as he asked her what about her dream, Coral replied that she has a new dream. Hearing what she said confused Marlin even more, but then soon began to inspect her from top to bottom and soon noticed her 'glow.' Coral even giving him a obvious clue by placing his hand on her flat stomach.

It suddenly hit Marlin as he looked into her orange eyes and kept asking her "Are you-?!" and Coral nodding a "Mm-hm!" in reply. Coral couldn't contain her giggling as Marlin smiled and both laughed. Coral was pregnant!

Marlin lifted Coral and spun her in the air before slowly bringing her back to the ground, the couple shared a deep passionate kiss.

All Marlin's life he dreamed of being a comedian. But Marlin admitted he also wanted to be something else in his life...a father.

Marlin still couldn't believe it that he was going to be a father, he knew that Coral would be a great mother. The couple still couldn't believe it. They were going to have a family.

Of course Marlin did worry what if he wasn't a good enough dad? Or what if his kid didn't like him? He knew that he still had some family issues with his father regarding the whole Comedy occupation. But he wasn't going to let that happen to him and his kid, he was going to love his kid no matter what.

In fact, he was ready to be a dad, ready to be by Coral side through it all. Through the good and rough situations to come for their baby. Marlin even went with Coral to her appointments. Both just so happy to become new parents and be a family once the baby was born, they didn't even care what they will have; a boy or girl. Heck, Marlin even remembered that he fainted when the doctor showed him and Coral the ultrasound sonogram, telling them they were having triplets. When he came too he told his wife he had never been more happier in his life. Coral couldn't help but laugh at her husband at that moment, but was glad that Marlin was with her every step of the way, for their family.

Knowing they needed a big enough place, Marlin decided they need a new start, for his family and enough room for them. Coral told him no matter where they live they will be together. So Marlin decided to look for new home, a great home to where they can raise their triplets together...

Marlin smiled as he remembered it all, replying every little bit in his head.

Coral really was the best thing to happen to him. So happy to have her in his life. She was his everything. He was happy to have her as his wife and carrying his babies. Now here they were, getting settled into their new home with the babies on the way.

Marlin smile grew and gave a sighed, knowing his life was just perfect and nothing was going to change it.

Coral noticed the smile on her husband's face "What?" she asked him, making Marlin snapped out of his memory of his beautiful wife.

"Remember how we met?" he asked her still smiling "Well I try not to" Coral replied, blushing a tint pink on her cheeks. However Marlin slowly walked up to her "Well I remember..." Coral eyed him, knowing that look on his face.

There Marlin tried to grab her making Coral yelp and jumped away from his grasps and laughed, and there Marlin heard her beautiful laugh as he continued. "Excuse me, can you see if I have something on my lips?" "No Marlin! Stop!" the two ran around the main hall. Marlin trying to catch her and Coral trying to get away. The two running around the house as if they were a few years younger again. Marlin continued "You gotta really look, cause I think it's still there!" "No! Get away! Get away!" Coral ran as Marlin almost got her and tried to plant her a wet kiss.

Coral continued to laugh, she managed to get away and ran out the door. Marlin smiled and ran after her "Here he is, Cutie's here!" he exclaimed and burst out of the door.

Marlin looked and began to notice that the neighborhood looked almost quiet and empty. His smile began to fade "Where'd everybody go?" he asked out to Coral. However his wife didn't reply. Marlin looked up to Coral and saw she had a frightening expression on her face. Marlin wondered what made Coral look so frighten and scared, until he eyed what she was seeing.

Just out in the edge of the forest he spotted something, at first he thought it was a wild and dangerous animal, but Marlin got a good look to see it was a man. But this man look dangerous, almost feral and animal like, was standing on two. He had long messy and wild black hair, sharp and dark souless eyes, and wore a ripped up straightjacket and was walking barefoot, and he held what look like a bat or spiked club in his hands. It was there Marlin gasped, no doubt this dangerous man was none other than the dangerous and deadly 'Barracuda.'

The 'Barracuda' was a mental patient that escaped from the Mental Institution some time ago. He was extremely dangerous, known for his killing crimes that were so gruesome that no one had the stomach to describe how he killed his victims. And you pray hope to God you wouldn't be the one on the receiving end of his feral stare. Coming across someone dangerous like 'Barracuda' would be certain end for you.

The Barracuda just stood by the edge of the forest breathing heavily and panting like he was a wild animal, staring at the husband and wife in front of him, almost getting ready to kill.

"Coral! Get inside the house Coral!" Marlin whispered to his wife. However Coral did not move an inch, still eyes locked to the monster of what used to be a man. Coral kept hearing her husband frantically whispering for her to come back inside where they'd be safe. Coral knew she had to do something to save herself, and her babies. Coral's hands slowly placed around her belly, as if shielding her babies.

Marlin scarcely watched his wife, wanting to know what the heck she was doing. "Coral please! Don't do anything stupid! Just come inside, you right now!" he continued to whisper to her as if trying to tell her not to do anything rash.

Coral just stood for a second before she had to do something to save herself and her babies. And she knew what she had to do.

Coral began to run for any help, but once she ran the Barracuda made his move to strike and ran after her, running fast on her tail "NO!" Marlin screamed and ran to save his wife. But the Barracuda spotted him and turned to attack, baring his sharp teeth and tried to claw Marlin, even going far to try and bite him. Marlin gasped seeing just how monstrous and dangerous they had said of the Barracuda, but he gain little courage and tried to fight back but this monstrous man was too strong for him. The Barracuda got his spiked club and swung it against Marlin's head.

Marlin yelled from the impact that sent him to the ground. The last thing Marlin heard was a type of monstrous roar from that mental escaped monster man.

Soon everything went black.

It felt like hours since the attack, Marlin began to stir himself, he felt like he was laying on a bed of sorts. His hearing slowly came back and began to pick up some noise. He heard familiar beeping sounds as well as some chattering voices around him. Soon his vision was coming back, looking up to see a bright white ceiling.

Marlin tried to look where he was and tried to recall what happened. Marlin began to remember he was face to face with the Barracuda and he tried to fight that monster. Trying to save... "CORAL!" Marlin shot up from the bed he was laying on. "It's okay, it's okay Mr. Clowfisch. You're safe now" Marlin turned to see a nurse trying to settling him back, calming him down, telling him the worst was over for him.

Marlin panted and looked around his surroundings "Where am I?" he managed to ask the nurse "In the hospital, you just had a miner concussion from your attack" the nurse replied to him. Marlin looked at her with a confused look "Attack?" "Oh thank goodness he's up!" Marlin turned to a new voice. He saw a elderly plump looking man walking in, looking at his uniform Marlin had to guess he was a police officer.

"I'm Chief Marineo, glad to see you still in one piece Mr. Clowfisch" the elderly man said and gently shook Marlin's hand. Marlin still looked out of place "Why am I here? What happen?" he asked, Chief Marineo concern of the man and took a deep breath. "We got a call from one of your neighbors who witnessed the attack from her home. Mr. Clowfisch you are lucky to survive from an attack of the Barracuda, that sick mental monster would've chopped you up if he had a chance!" Chief Marineo began to recall the case to the man "What happened after?" Marlin asked "The Barracuda is long gone I'm afraid, escaped and left to find another 'meal to kill' pardon the impression. But we will continue our search for that mental sicko" Chief Marineo replied to the reddish orange haired man and reassure that they will catch him and make sure he gets the chair for his heinous monstrous crimes.

Marlin sat up from his bed and turned himself over, he didn't care if they were still searching for the Barracuda, he cared about one thing. "Where's my wife?" Marlin asked, looking up with pleading eyes.

Chief Marineo and the nurse glanced at eachother and Chief Marineo released a heavy sigh "Your wife, Mr. Clowfisch...she took the worse from the Barracuda" the chief exclaimed and continued "When my men and I got there, she was clawed and bitten as if the Barracuda wanted her as a snack, multiple stabbing wounds and her stomach took a beating as well" Chief Marineo looked up to see Marlin, who looked in horror to hear his wife's conditions. "She's in surgery right now, cause by the time we got here she was already in labor" Marlin looked up to hear what Chief Marineo told him.

Coral was in early labor.

"I have to be there!" "You need to rest sir" the nurse stopped Marlin from leaving his room "Mr. Clowfisch, your wife is fighting for her life!" "And I need to be there for her!" they continued arguing with eachother. Chief Marineo tried to calm the man down "You just woke up from a concussion, try to be strong for her when she's fighting this" with that said, the chief's words did manage to calm Marlin down. Marlin knew what Chief Marineo said was right, he has to try and be strong for Coral, even if he wasn't there by her side. He just sat there and looked at his hands. If anything happened to Coral and the babies he didn't know what to do.

Marlin knew he couldn't bare to live life without his wife and babies.

The nurse and Chief Marineo looked at the man in front of them, fearing the worst to come if something did happened after his wife's surgery. But they didn't want to see the man more distressed than he already is. Both chief and nurse prayed that the man's wife would be okay, to give the poor man in front of them hope.

Just then a doctor came into the room, he walked in and slowly joined the group. "Mr. Clowfisch, I'm Dr. Blu" he introduced himself, gaining a little attention from the people in the room. Marlin looked up with desperate eyes "Please...is my wife okay?" he asked, giving anything to give him at least hope.

Dr. Blu turned away for a second before looking at the man sadly, this was something hard for him to do no matter the patient.

"...I'm sorry Mr. Clowfisch, we did everything we could. But due to the fatal stabbing wounds and loss of blood from the attack, there wasn't anything else we could do. I'm sorry. We just couldn't save your wife and two of your babies" Dr. Blu exclaimed, he really hated telling bad news to patients. But he knew that no matter the news, good or bad, the patient needs to know. And for sure what Marlin had been through, Dr. Blu couldn't bare to look at the poor man in the eye any longer.

Hearing what he just heard, Marlin felt worse then the blow to his head. He sat there in silence. Marlin felt numb and cold around him, he felt like he couldn't breath, and his own heart broke and shattered within him. "Oh Coral...!" Marlin began shed tears and soon cried in his hands.

Marlin silently prayed it didn't happen, that he was still knocked out and dreaming. And that he would wake up and Coral would be alright. But it wasn't a dream, it was real. Coral was dead.

No more will he see his beautiful wife again. No more will he hear her call his name, or even hear her beautiful heavenly laugh. And even worst he never got a chance to see his babies being born, the babies that Coral risked her own life to save. The babies that he will never get a chance to love and watch them grow.

And just like that! His whole world began to break around him.

The life he had wanted and planned for was gone!

His beautiful wife, gone! His babies, gone!

It was all gone! Marlin had nothing left.

Dr. Blu, Chief Marineo and the nurse felt so sorry for this man as they watched him continue to sob in his hands. None of them couldn't even imagine what he is going through, loosing a loved one and never getting the chance to see his unborn babies. And if they did, they would feel the same way too.

Marlin continued to cry in his hands until he felt numb inside, but then he stopped. He remembered what Dr. Blu said 'Couldn't save your wife and two babies' that sentence still rang in his head.

It didn't make any sense to Marlin, he looked back up at Dr. Blu "Y-you said two babies?...W-we were expecting triplets..." Marlin tried to wipe his tears away. Hearing this Dr. Blu smiled a little "That's actually one good news to lighten up to, we did manage to save one baby" he told the poor man. "And let me tell you, he is a lucky little fellow" Dr. Blu added with a deep smile.

Hearing this brought a ray of hope for Marlin, one of his babies survived. And it was a boy!

Marlin couldn't believe his ears to what he heard, that one of his babies survived. Marlin sat on the bed not saying a word, not even listening to anything or anyone around him. He was in his own little world, just thinking of that one baby. Marlin did manage to hear that Dr. Blu mentioned that the little baby did survive the attack and early labor, but he will have some medical issues that will effect him as he grows up. It didn't matter at the moment, Marlin was just glad to hear his baby...his son, survived this nightmare.

Just then a noise made Marlin snap out of his daze and brought him back into the real world. The loud noise of a baby cry.

Marlin looked up to see another nurse smiling and walking into the room. She had so much patience in her as she held a crying and screaming baby in her arms, slowly rocking him gently. But Marlin's eyes caught to the attention of a reddish orange color from within the blue bundle in her arms. Once the nurse got close to Marlin, she smiled at the man and showed him the tiny infant.

Marlin couldn't believe his eyes, there he was, his baby.

Marlin gently took the baby from the nurse into his hands and began to cradle him. His eyes glued as he stared at the tiny infant in his arms, never even noticed that Chief Marineo, Dr. Blu and the two nurses were still in the room with him. They watched the man and his newborn son with sad smiles. The 4 watched feeling more sorry for this man and what he went through. So soon that the 4 decided to step out of the room and leave to give the father and newborn son some time to get more acquainted with eachother.

Once they left the room, Marlin didn't noticed them leaving, he couldn't even care. Marlin still kept his stare on his baby son, who still continued to cry in his arms. He looked down to see his son, he was so tiny and had reddish orange fuzz of hair on his little head. Seeing the baby, Marlin couldn't help but shed more tears, they were sad tears as well as happy tears mixed together.

As he held the baby, Marlin silently thought of Coral and her sacrifice. He just wished that he should've been there for her, to protect her more. He even wished he had been there when she was in early labor to help her with the delivery, to even have a chance to tell her that he loved her, even giving the chance to see two of his other babies. But those were wishful thinking, he will never see his wife again. Never even getting to see the two other babies.

But he wished that Coral was at least alive to see their beautiful baby boy before passing.

The baby continue to cry and wail loudly at the surroundings around him, as if it frightened the baby. Frightened, knowing what the nightmare the baby had been through.

"Shh...There there there, it's okay Daddy's here...Daddy's got you" Marlin soothed the baby, gently rocking him. As if hearing Marlin's soothing voice, the baby's cries ceased and replaced with whimpers. Marlin continued gently to rock his newborn son, until the baby finally welcomed sleep.

Marlin tried not to wake him as he held the baby close to his chest. Staring at the tiny baby in his arms, Marlin blinked as newly fresh tears streamed down his face. The baby hearing his Daddy's heartbeat helped soothed him to sleep even more, and snuggled deep in his bundled blanket and somehow being close to his Daddy, feeling safe.

Seeing the baby finally sleeping peacefully, knowing the worst was over for them at least. It was there Marlin made a vow to himself, a promise.

"I promise, I will never let anything happen to you...Nemo"
