The night after the 3rd Class Trial, Giorno regain his senses.
"Ugh...Huh?!" Giorno saw that all of the books that were in the library were all gone. "The books...are gone! Also...was tha thing that knocked out me a stand?! Was that the Mastermind's stand?!"
He decided to return to his room, but when he overheard a conversation in the gym between Monokuma and a young man with a very elegant British accent.
That person was Lelouch.
"Monokuma." said the young man.
"Oh? It's you, Lelouch. Why aren't in your room?! Go to sleep!" said Monokuma.
"Don't worry, I'll return to my room. For now, I would like to bargain." said Lelouch. "I'm sure you will like it."
"Oh? Sounds interesting, continue." said the bear.
"I would like to lend you my power. Tell me who you want to get killed and I will." he said.
"What the?!" Giorno thought, then he returned to his room since he couldn't get caught.
The next day, Everyone started to explore the 4th floor of the school.
Giorno, Tanya and Chihiro went the music room, when there was a big piano on the stage.
"Very well, there's a piano here!" said Giorno.
"Do you play piano, Giorno?" asked Tanya.
"Yes, It's my hobby. I've started to play it when I went to Josuke's hometown, Morioh Cho, for the holidays. It was all thanks to a friend I met in the hotel." he said.
"Who was that person?" asked Chihiro.
"It was a girl, her name is Kaede Akamatsu, if I remember correctly. She was my childhood friend, we had so much fun togheter." said GioGio.
"I see. Are you still in touch with her?" asked Tanya.
"Unfortunately not. I haven't seen her for 5 years." said Giorno.
"I hope you'll meet her again." said Tanya.
"That's right, I'm sure you will!" Chihiro said.
"Yeah." said GioGio. "Hey, wanna see me play the piano?" he asked. Tanya and Chihiro nodded.
So, Giorno started to play the song he composed, "Il vento d'oro".
After he finished, Chihiro and Tanya applaused.
"Bravo! Bravo!" they said.
Meanwhile, L found two locked rooms. The Data Center and Headmaster's office.
When Josuke checked the teacher's office, he found another photo.
This time, it was depicting Loid, Aoi and Kaguya doing a "James Bond" pose.
"This photo...is just like the photo Giorno found in the Art room!" he thought.
While everyone was returning to the dining hall, Giorno went to talk to L.
"L, can I talk you about that room?" asked Giorno.
"Oh, right. What did you found out there?" asked L.
"Well, unfortunately, before I even started reading the documents, I was knocked out. When I regained my senses, everything disappeared." the Italian young man.
"What? I see, maybe the mastermind realized I went there. Sorry if I put you in danger, Giorno." said L.
"Oh, don't worry." he said.
"You seem...worried. Something's wrong?" asked the pale Detective.
"Well, I'm not sure about what I've seen but, I can tell you one thing." Giorno approached L and whispered in his ear: "Don't trust Lelouch. I think he's one of the Mastermind's underlings."
The dark-haired Englishman accepted this advice.
Later, the students held once again a meeting in the dining hall. This time, Lelouch was absent from the meeting.
"Very well, let's discuss what we discovered." said Valentine.
"Giorno, Chihiro and I have found a music room. It has a piano on the stage." said Tanya.
"I-I've found a chemical lab. I-It has v-various things like chemicals, nutrients and poisons." said Touko.
"I've found two locked rooms. The Headmaster's office and the Data Center." said L.
"The headmaster's office? That could be a place with a lot of clues." said Valentine.
"Since it's locked, why don't we knock down the door?" Josuke proposed the idea. "With our stands will be a piece of cake!"
Everyone agreed with the idea until...
"Hoooooooooold on!" Monokuma appeared in the Dining hall.
"EEEEK!" Josuke backed away.
"Did you just say that you wanted to knock down the Headmaster's door? What kind of War on Education are you trying to start here?! That's MY room, you know?" the bear said. "Sigh, I have no choice. I have to add a new school regulation!" Monokuma wrote something on the E-Handbook. "Breaking down a locked door is now prohibited! There, that's a rule now, you jerks!" The bear left.
"Well, it's official. Since Monokuma added that rule, there's no doubt that there's something important in the Headmaster's office." said Tanya.
"Yeah, but there's nothing we can do since it's a rule." said Giorno.
"Is there something anyone wants to report?" asked Valentine.
"I have." said Josuke. "Did you guys remember when Giorno found that weird photo in the Art Room storage?"
Everyone nodded.
"Did you found another one?" said Giorno. Josuke nodded.
"Yep, this time, the picture was of Loid, Kaguya and Aoi." said Josuke.
"So, not only Jolyne, Izuku and Ren, but now you found another photo that had Loid, Kaguya and Aoi?" said Valentine.
"But...how?" said Chihiro, confused.
"M-Maybe that photo was also faked by Monokuma." said Touko.
"But what if...the photo isn't fake? Maybe there's some sort of hidden connection that we don't understand Or maybe, if the Mastermind has a stand, he could have erased our memories." said Giorno.
Everyone heard a knocking. It was Lelouch.
"Guys, do you mind taking a bath togheter?" he said, winking.
The students understood that Monika wanted to talk with them and went to the bathhouse.
Chihiro took the laptop, opened the file "Monitor Kernel Access" and Monika appeared.
"Oh! There you are!" she said. "I have good news! I've finally decrypted all of the files inside this laptop!"
"Wonderful!" said Josuke.
Chihiro typed:
"Can you tell us what you found out?"
"Sure! I discovered that a certain plan had been put in effect here. A plan "to isolate the students of Hope's Peak Academy and create a communal life for them." that was the goal. But it was meant to be more than just a normal school life. The students were intended to live out the rest of their lives here." said Monika.
The surviving students were shocked.
"T-That's...!" said Josuke., shocked and confused.
"...The same situation we've found ourselves in!" Giorno continued.
"I have also another shocking truth...this plan was made by the administrators of Hope's Peak themselves." said Monika.
"W-What?!" said Touko.
"Does that mean the reason we're here..." said Chihiro
"...It wasn't the work of a criminal, but by Hope's Peak itself?!" said Josuke.
"What kind of school would trap their students in here for the rest of their lives?!" said Tanya.
"Hold it. Monika hasn't finished talking." said L.
"...It seems that the reason they created this plan was because something that happened a year ago." said Monika. "They described it as "The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History"."
"What a long name." said Lelouch.
"It's also referred as "The Tragedy", it seems that it was some sort of devastating occurence. Because of that event Hope's Peak Academy was forced to close down. That's all of the informations I could find." said the AI.
"The pieces of this puzzle begin to appear gradually. I feel we are getting closer and closer to the truth about this mystery...about this Killing Game...about Monokuma ... When I find out the identity of the Mastermind, I will have avenged you, Aoi." thought L.
Chihiro typed again.
"It's ok, you did what you could. Good job, Monika."
"So, I'm done? Guess I am. Well, i'm gonna take a rest, see you later." Monika put the laptop into sleep mode.
"Wow...I feel bad for her." said Josuke.
"Me too, even if she's just a program." said Tanya.
"Anyway, let's move on. Thanks to Monika, we have some answers but also two more questions: "Why are they making us kill each other?" and "What exactly is The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History?"" said L.
"But I don't remember hearing about such a tragic incident like that!" said Josuke.
"Same goes for me, If such a tragic event had really happened, the international press would have talked about it." said Tanya.
"At least, it has to have some kind of connection to the school." said Giorno.
"What if all of the students except us got killed? That would explain why we're the only ones here." said Valentine.
"For now, let's go to bed, soon it will be 10 PM." said L.
Everyone went to bed.
The next day, everyone had some free time.
Giorno spent some time with Tanya in the music room.
"This room is very big, it probably hosted some concerts by the students." said Tanya.
"Yeah." said Giorno. "Hey, Tanya."
"Hm?"
"Have you ever played the piano?"
"Well, let's say i'm good at playing with guns rather than playing a piano."
"May you play it right now?"
"Fine. Don't except something good." Tanya got on stage, sat down and started playing a song for beginners, "Der Flohwalzer".
During the song, Giorno inexplicably felt a sense of anguish and uneasiness. It made him think about a girl getting hanged and a person playing this song by using her corpse.
"So...how was it?" she asked, slightly nervous since she saw Giorno's reaction.
"You...did great." he said.
"Oh, enough with the flattering." said Tanya.
"No, really, it was good."
"Oh...Thank you, I guess."
The two continued playing some songs with the piano and had some fun.
"You sure are good at teaching how to play piano." Tanya noticed Giorno's skill. "Are you sure you're not the Ultimate Pianist?"
"Hehe, I'll take it as a compliment." Giorno said, proud.
"I bet that Kaede would be proud of you."
"I hope so."
Meanwhile, Josuke and Chihiro were observing a depressed L eating chocolate donuts.
"L looks downcast." said Chihiro.
"Yeah, since Aoi's death, he seems more depressed than usual." said Josuke.
"How about we try to cheer him up?" Chihiro proposed an idea.
"That could work, let's try it!" said Josuke
The two approached L.
"Hey L!" said Josuke.
"What do you want? Can't you see I'm sad?" said L.
"You have constantly a sad expression." thought both Josuke and Chihiro.
"D-Do you want to play billiards with us?" asked the petite boy.
L sighed. "Fine." he stood up and approached the two.
"Yaay! We're going to have a lot of fun!" said Chihiro.
The three went to play billiards, trying to make L happy.
Yes, It was uneffective, but L appreciated the attempt.
A day later, Everyone had once again some free time.
Giorno and Tanya went for a swim in the swimming pool.
"Are you ready?" Giorno asked.
Tanya left the girls' lockeroom, wearing her school swimsuit. Giorno thought she looked pretty in it but, since he holds dear to his life, he refrained from telling anything.
"Ugh, it's a bit tight in the chest area." Tanya said.
"Well, even so, you're still looking fine." Giorno said. "Let's swim shall we?"
The two hold a swimming race. Tanya, thanks to her physical abilities as a soldier, won the race against Giorno.
"Wow, you sure are fast." he said.
"What kind of soldier would I be If i'm not decently strong?" she said.
"I see."
Giorno and Tanya chatted for a while until the girl asked a weird question.
"So...what kind of girls do you like?"
GioGio was surprised. He didn't excpected a question like that, let alone from a person like Tanya.
"Why are you asking?" he asked.
"Heh, curiosity." she said.
"Well, for a while I didn't had time for thinking about something like this, I'm not that much of a romantic person."
"Well, we're on the boat."
"But, if I were being honest, I would prefer a smart and nice person, like you."
Tanya was surprised. "Like...me, you say?" she asked.
"Yup, by your nickname, "Devil of the Middle East", you seemed like a cold, heartless psycho. But in reality, you're very nice, pretty girl." said Giorno (the last part he whispered it).
But even so, Tanya blushed.
She immediately regained some composure. "Heh, you sure have some guts. People usually think of me as a "Demon" so no one would say something like that."
"What kind of Ultimate GangStar would I be if I didn't have some guts?" Giorno said, chuckled. "Anyway, wanna get something in the dining hall?"
"Sure."
The two went to the dining and continued to chat in the while.
Giorno went to sleep, hoping that he could pass some more time with Tanya.
The next day, everything seemed fine, until Everyone started to feel more hotter.
"Ugh, is it me or it's a bit hot here?" Josuke asked.
"It feels like the temperature had risen."
After they finished eating, The surviving students were summoned by Monokuma at the gym.
"Hello everyone!" Monokuma appeared on the stage. "Do you feel more hot than usual?"
"What did you do this time?" Valentine asked.
"This is the 4th motive of the Killing School Life: Rise of temperature! Until a murder will be commited, every 2 hours the temperature will be 10°C higher!"
"10 degrees h-higher?!" Touko said, shocked
"If the normal temperature is 20°C, in just 3 hours it will rise to 50°C." L said.
"Yep! So, if you don't want to melt, you have to kill someone! Byee!"
For now, the only thing the students could do was enduring the heat.
Giorno, who was now wearing a tanktop and the pants of his usual suit, went to Tanya's room to hang out with her.
He rang the doorbell.
"Who's there?" the girl asked.
"It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno." he said, jokingly.
"Come in, GioGio." she said.
The young man went inside Tanya's room. She was wearing brown shorts and a white tanktop.
"Am I disturbing you?" he asked.
"No, you're not. Is there something you want?" she asked.
"I just wanted to hang out with you."
"Let's stay in my room, it's too hot to go somewhere." Tanya said.
The two talked for a while until Tanya proposed something to Giorno.
"Do you...know German?" she asked.
"Heh, a bit. my "grandpa" is friend with a German soldier, he taught some words." Giorno said.
"I see. Can you tell me a phrase in German?"
"Huh, "Hallo, mein Name ist Giorno Giovanna, Sie können mich GioGio nennen*." he said with a accent that sounded both Italian and Japanese.
*Traduction from German: Hello, my name is Giorno Giovanna, you may call me GioGio.
"Not bad. His pronunce can be improved but, he's qualified. Giorno, I would like to ask you something."
"What is it?"
"Well, from what I understood about your stand, "Gold Experience", seems like it's a very powerful healer, so..." Tanya blushed slightly. "When we'll get out of here I want you...to join my Batallion."
"Huh?"
"Y-You could be a combat medic, so you wouldn't die in the battlefield and "heal" the wounded soldiers, including me."
"Why me? Why not Josuke? I mean, he's the Ultimate Healer."
"No, I want you-I mean, I know you better, so I have more confidence with you." she corrected herself.
"Wait, does that mean...she wants to stay with me?" Giorno smiled. "Well, I don't think I can to Germany, I'm busy with being a Mafia Boss but maybe...we can do the opposite: You may going to live in Naples with me, it's a beautiful city. When Monokuma gave us the second motive, her secret was that she wanted to leave the Army and live a quiet life. I could grant her a life like that."
"I'll...take it in consideration." Tanya said.
The two talked some more until things became hotter.
And by that, i mean literally. The temperature was now 50°C/122°F.
The two, who were still in Tanya's room, had to took some clothes off in order to endure the heat. Yes, it was embarassing but, at the moment, they could not give a shit about that.
Then, everything pitched black and everyone fainted.
Giorno slowly regained his senses, barechested and with his pants of his pink suit. Next thing he saw was Tanya, who was already in her military uniform.
Giorno slightly blushed, since, instead of being scared of her, he found her very pretty now that he knows Tanya quite well.
"You're awake." she said. Regaining her normal cold composure.
"What...happened?" GioGio asked.
"It seems that the temperature has returned to normal. So that means..."
"...Someone has committed a murder." he said.
"I went to your room and took some clothes for you." Tanya pointed to the pile of clothes on a chair. "Since we sweated a lot, it's better if you also take a shower, you can use mine. I'm gonna start searching for the corpse, see you soon." The Ultimate Military Office left.
GioGio took a shower and once finished wearing the clothes Tanya had brought him. It was a suit similar to his pink one, but instead it was blue and red.
Then, he immediately went to the search of the corpse. He eventually met Tanya and L in the Rec room, staring at Lelouch's lifeless body, who was sitting on a chair.
