This chapter will introduce one of my Fire Emblem OC's. William.
He is the son of Marc and Cynthia from the future, his design is a black unzipped coat, a black fedora, and six samurai swords.
Each one is a different color, and has a different element.
But he also has a secret.
In my Fire Emblem Universe which is separate from this, he has five siblings. But he'll be the only one in this story.
This may contain spoilers for my FE universe, as William is in this before much is known about him in the other stories.
Enjoy.
"So, that's our son?"
"Yup, look at him."
Said both Cynthia and Marc as they were watching their son William, who was hanging by a tree. Saying nothing.
While their parents were with them at the same table, as well as Lucina and Morgan.
"Hm hm hm. Hm hm hmmm." William hummer as he was reading from a book.
Just recently, Marc and Cynthia met their son from the future. His name was William, he was 17 years old. And had six swords.
"He hasn't said too much since we brought him back to camp." Lucina whispered.
"Why are you all whispering?" William asked as he looked up from his book. "I'm right here ya know."
That slightly alarmed then, they didn't know he was listening.
"You guys know I got really good hearing right?" William closed his book and descended from the tree, landing on his two feet. "So nothing really gets said without me hearing it."
"We know William, we know." Cynthia nodded and sighed as William came over to the table and took a seat.
Putting his hands behind his head and leaning back a bit.
"So….you've all been staring at me for a while now. Is it cause I'm not saying much? Well I'll have you know that I can talk a lot." William smiled.
"Well, we know. But it's just a bit strange, you seem to be distancing yourself from others." Marc told his son.
William laughed in response. "Me? Distancing myself? Hell nah, everyone's just avoiding me for some reason. Am I really that weird?"
"No. Not weird, just a bit….different." Robin answered as she put her hand to her bottom lip. "It's almost like, you have a different feeling compared to everyone else."
"That's what she said." William pointed at his grandmother, as everyone just looked at him.
"Oh really?" Sumia asked with a sigh as Chrom groaned a bit.
"Was making that joke so necessary?" Lucina asked.
"Yup, totally." William nodded. "I'm a mastermind at wordplay, and I'm smart too."
Marc then stood up from his chair. "Alright, William. We get that you think you're great, but please check your ego."
William tilted his head to the side in response. "Oh. I don't think I'm that great. In fact I'm a piece of shit. I really am, I just like messing around with people I guess."
"William, you are not a piece of—that's not what I meant." Marc shook his head.
"I know but that's what I meant." William shrugged as he stood up right from his chair. "And to be honest, if I had a huge ego, could I detect that bandit who's about to attack me from behind?"
That last part confused everyone, what was he talking about?
Then suddenly, a bandit with an axe came out of the bushes and ran towards William.
He swiped at William's head with his axe but William ducked right under and kicked the bandit's feet.
The bandit got up and stroked at William again.
William put his foot on the axe blade and drew his red sword, knocking the axe away.
The bandit looked at him in fear, as he held up his sword.
"So uh." Suddenly, the blade of William's sword turned completely into flames, as everyone's eyes widened. "You still wanna fight?"
"Urgh. You've pissed me off enough!" The bandit ran towards William.
But William swing his sword, blasting fire against the bandit.
It wasn't a fatal blow, but was enough to knock him back to the tree.
William proceeded to walk over to the tree.
He started stomping repeatedly on the bandit's private parts, as the bandit was screaming in pain.
"And….one more." William kicked the bandit right in his face.
But the kick was so hard that I broke the tree that the bandit was propped up against, as it tumbled to the ground. Luckily it didn't crush or even hit the bandit that was now in pain.
William's eyes slightly widened.
"Oops, guess I used to much power." William shrugged.
Everyone was simply shocked at his performance, as Marc and Cynthia ran up to their son.
The young man turned to his parents, slightly confused.
"What?" He asked.
"How did…..how did you do that?!" Cynthia exclaimed.
William raised an eyebrow. "Do….what? Fight him?"
Before William could act, his fire sword was snatched right out of his hands by his mother, as she and Marc examined the blade.
"Your sword caught on fire, how?" Marc asked. "Is it magic?"
William shook his head. "Not really, years of training, and the way I made the sword."
Cynthia turned her head. "Made?"
"I'm a blacksmith. I make really cool weapons." William took his sword back, sheathing it away. "Guess you could say that I'm a man of, many talents. See ya."
William turned around and walked away, as the others were left in surprise.
"What just happened?" Gaius asked as he turned to Chrom.
"I….don't know."
Later at dinner….
The Shepherds were now having dinner.
Except for one person, William.
"William, why aren't you eating anything?" Marc asked his son, who was just sitting around reading a book.
"I don't eat." William answered his father.
"What do you mean 'you don't eat'?" Marc raised an eyebrow.
"I just don't. I'm not made like that." William kept reading his book.
Cynthia then put her hand to her mouth. "Hmm, I know!" The Falcon knight took out something, it was a small chocolate cake on a plate. "Here's something sweet! You probably love sweets just like your mom and your grandp-"
"No offense mom but I despise sugar." William answered.
That's when Cynthia, Sumia, and Gaius gasped at the same time.
A descendant of Gaius, hates sugar?!
"What do you mean you despise sugar?!" Cynthia asked in worry. "A-are you feeling okay William?"
"I could ask you the same question." William smiled. "But yeah I'm feeling fine, I just don't like it. Or any food for that matter."
William closed his book and stood up, making his way out of the tent.
They all watched him, but Cynthia started eating the cake.
"Cynthia." Marc said as she looked up at him.
"What? Baby's hungry." Cynthia continued eating her cake, as her stomach then rumbled. "Ohhh I guess not. Marc….I need to go to the bathroom."
"Alright, but can you go on your-"
"Ahem."
Marc turned to see Gaius glaring at him, his hand on his sword handle.
Marc sighed. "Okay, let's go Cynthia."
"Thanks!" Cynthia grinned as the two left the tent. "Ooh we've gotta hurry!"
Later….
"Hah! Hiya! Agh!"
William grinned as he was training with someone.
But it wasn't a person, it was something else.
A pitch black humanoid figure that had horns, red eyes, a red mouth, and black demon wings. He was floating while countering William's sword attacks with a pitch black scythe.
"Hah! You're getting even better." The demon laughed, as William hit him on the face with his sword. "Agh! Nice shot Will."
"Thanks Licht." William grinned, as he drew his black sword, aiming it at Licht.
Suddenly half of William's body turned pitch black, and his eye become red.
He also grew two horns and ran towards Licht, as two wings sprouted from his back.
He started spinning vertically, knocking Licht's scythe away and knocking Licht to the ground.
Which caused it to shake and crack.
Licht easily got up and laughed.
"Hahaha! That's why you're the best when it comes to demon hunters!" Licht crossed his arms and laughed once more.
"Thanks Licht, glad I've got a partner like you around." William smiled as he turned back to normal.
"WILLIAM!"
The young man quickly turned.
He saw his mother and father, his father looked slightly angry, and his mother looked scared.
"William? What was that?" Cynthia asked.
"What? Oh! It's uh…it's exactly what it looks like." William sighed.
"What was that form you just took?" Marc asked. "And who's that? Is that a demon?" He pointed to Licht.
William glanced at Licht, who looked at him.
William shook his head.
"Guess I've got explaining to do."
