It was really late that night at the camp. The whole gang was already asleep but soon be ready to go in the morning. Madison was sleeping peacefully until she heard a loud sound that cause her to wake. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at her friends who are still asleep but notice that Artie wasn't there. She looked around but then saw him walking towards a direction.

Madison slowly got up and try not to make a sound as she walked past the sleeping ogre and quickly hustle to follow Artie. She was taking the same path that the gang went through until she came to the small beach. She saw the boy sitting on the rock, looking at the moon and the ocean. Madison looked at him for a moment and then remember that this could be her chance to have a talk with him.

"Is it alright if I join you?" she asked as she got closer to him.

Artie jumped a bit as he was startled but remain calm as he sees her.

"Yeah... sure." he answered as he sat back down.

"Sorry I startled you." she said as she sat beside him.

"It's fine. Really it is."

Both were silent for a good second. Madison wanted to start, but she didn't know how to start talking for some reason.

"Guess you can tell why I'm up. Is something wrong?" she asked him.

"I guess I'm still a little nervous being King."

"You seem fine a few hours ago."

"I am, I mean I was. But something in my gut just tells me that I'm not good enough. Even my own Dad could see I'm not good enough. I mean you saw how everyone treated me back at that school. They probably won't see a King, but the same Loser."

"They won't see you as a Loser, Artie." said Madison.

"How do you know? I mean, your Lady Madison, the Saviour of Oz. You've done many heroic deeds, and even have your own fan club. People look at you and see this really important person. What do you think they would see when they look at me, a nobody."

"They won't see you as a nobody. They'll see something great about you, Artie."

"How can you be sure?" Artie asked as he looked at her.

"Call it... a hunch." she answered.

Artie stared at her for a moment.

"So... you really think I can do this? You really think I will be a good king?"

"I don't think. I know so. It's a big responsibility but you'll do great."

"Thanks Maddie, if I can call you that...I really needed that. So, I guess in a way you believe in me." he said.

Madison nods her head.

"Thanks Maddie. You know, you seem one smart person. I mean no doubt why you're the Savior of Oz. You care about people and help see them through.

"Helping people is what I do."

"I can see that."

"Feeling a little better now?" Madison asked as she looked at him.

"In a way, yeah." he answered.

"I think all you needed was a little confidence in yourself Artie. Confidence, encouragement and an honest heart, these are one of the tools you need to be King."

Artie smiled at the girl for what he heard.

"I'll keep what you said in mind. As well as what Shrek told me. But are you sure I'm the right one, was there no one else to be King of Far Far Away?"

Madison looked at him with wide eyes and began to feel nervous, knowing she wanted to tell him the truth.

"That is what Shrek told you and what King Harold said to him before he passed away." she lied.

"Well okay if you say so." he said.

Madison just continued to smile nervously and gave a little nod to sell it out and chuckled a bit.

"Still, I can't believe it. Me, a King. I can see it now, King Arthur. Or would I rather be called King Artie." he laughed at that.

"However, you want to be called, your highness."

"Nah. But for now, just called me or still call me Artie. Once I am king, maybe I'll get a chance to talk to Gwen and maybe she'll become my queen."

"I think maybe you should find someone else who is special and not Gwen. You're too good for her anyway."

"I guess you are right about that. But upside is, there are still princesses." said Artie.

"See, when the time is right, the right girl for you will be your Queen." said Madison.

Artie nods his head and let out a yawn.

"Come on, we better get some sleep. No doubt Shrek will want us to leave bright and early." he said.

"In a moment, I just wanted to take in some of this night air before I sleep." said Madison.

"Okay. And Maddie...thanks. I really needed that pep talk."

"No problem. Just remember what I said Artie."

"I will. Night."

"Night."

Artie walked away as he was heading back to the camp to lay down. Madison watched him with a small smile until looked to see her necklace was blinking as if trying to communicate with her.

"I know I should've told him the truth. But I can't. How he's gonna find out well...it's not a perfect moment for him sort of speak." she said to it and the necklace blinks again.

Madison sighs and she looks at the moon, she was getting concerned about Artie in the next scenes in the movie but... she was also worried about her friends and Zor.
