Chapter 5: A cinematic level finale
Disclaimer: I do not own the smurfs, they are owned by Peyo. I do not own My Little Pony or its characters, they are owned by Hasbro. I only own Hector and Emily because they're my OCs. I also do not own the song and lyrics featured, some lyrics might be changed. If the song is a parody, I do not own the song it is based on. Anyways, enjoy.
The next day, Hector, the crusaders, and the main 7, were walking to school as Hector explained everything to them. Once they got to school, they were all caught up.
"Now remember, nobody can know who Spider-Man is, and I mean nobody," said Hector, as the 11 friends entered the school. "So don't tell anyone."
"What about the teachers?" asked Applejack.
"They only know because I needed an excuse to get out of school," said Hector. "Besides, if people find out, then all hell will break loose." He then noticed Twilight's grumpy expression. "What's wrong, cousin?"
"I'm just a little jealous that you are once again the more famous cousin," said Twilight, causing everyone to give her the 'what do you mean' look. "Let me explain. Every time Hector finds something he's really good at he always acts like he's the most special person in the world. Like when beat a strong kid in arm wrestling 2 years ago, or when he saved someone from a burning building last year, and now he's… a vigilante." She whispered that last part.
"He also lost his virginity before you," said Sunset Shimmer, causing everyone to give her a weird look. "What? He and Apple Bloom smell like sweat and shame, that's how me and my wife smell every Friday night."
"Wait, you're married?" asked Hector. "Who's the lucky lady?"
"Remember your cousin's pony Princess counterpart? Well, she and I kinda got a little… intimate," explained Sunset Shimmer.
"I'm still mad that I wasn't invited to the wedding," said Rarity. "I had gowns made for us."
"I was worried that the wedding would be ruined by another villain attack," said Sunset Shimmer. "Let's just focus on school."
Suddenly, Hector's spider senses started tingling, as he moved further down the hall. "Wait! Stay back!" said Hector, followed by an explosion down the hall.
"Uh oh, looks like another lab explosion," said Rainbow Dash.
"It can't be, we just passed the science lab," said Hector, as his spider senses kept tingling. Just then, Hobgoblin emerged from the dust of the explosion.
"Can the spider-man come out to play!" said Hobgoblin, as the students of Canterlot High ran away in terror. "Where are you Spider-Man?"
"Oh, come on!" said Hector. "Can't she go one day without trying to kill me?" He then looked for a place to change into his Spider-Man suit. "Stall her until I get back."
"Well, girls, it's time to pony up," said Twilight, as she and the main seven ponied up. "Hey, Emily, why don't you pick on someone your own size!"
"Oh, you mean like you," said Hobgoblin, as she faced the Equestria girls (that's their team name). She then launched missiles at them, which were stopped by Spider-Man's webs. "Well, well, well, look who showed up late to the party."
"Give me a break, I couldn't find my invitation. Either that or I wasn't invited," said Spider-Man, as he destroyed the missiles. "Can't you go one day without trying to kill me? I already told you that I didn't kill your father."
"I won't stop until I avenge my father's death, starting with killing you," began Hobgoblin, as she held a green remote. "One push of this button and all of Bluecorp will become my goblin army, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!"
"Actually, I could call your mom, that could stop you," said Spider-Man, who just finished a call on his phone. "Oh wait, I just did. Good luck being grounded for three weeks."
"Whatever, I'll see you in hell," said Hobgoblin, as she pushed the button on her remote. "Good luck with my goblin army." She then threw a pumpkin bomb at the ceiling, causing a pile of rubble to fall on Spider-Man. "So long, suckers!" She then flew away on her glider, while the Equestria Girls tried to free Spider-Man from the pile of rubble.
"Spidey, can you hear me? Say something," said Apple Bloom, who was hoping her boyfriend didn't get crushed by the pile of rubble. Suddenly, the rubble started to move up, before being tossed to the side of the hallway. "How did you do that?"
"I don't know, but I think I might need a new suit," said Spider-Man, whose suit was now damaged.
"Luckily I came prepared," said Apple Bloom, as she flipped her watch open and pushed a button, causing a nanotechnology suit to form around Spider-Man. "It's only a prototype, so I based it off the comic design." She was right, the design of the nanotechnology suit was more comic accurate than movie accurate, which looked a little ridiculous but cool at the same time.
"We can discuss the costume design later, let's go kick my ex-girlfriend's ass," said Spider-Man, as he, the crusaders, and the Equestria Girls made their way to the city, where Hobgoblin's army was attacking. "Yikes! I think she's in a really bad mood today. I'll get to Bluecorp and stop Emily, the rest of you get everyone to safety and do what you can to stop the goblin army."
"Got it, but you might need this," said Sunset Shimmer, as she handed Spider-Man something shiny. It was a blue geode, with a Smurf shaped head on the front. "I had a feeling this might be for you." Spider-Man took the geode, causing him to sprout wings and a unicorn horn.
"Okay, this is pretty cool. I'll see you at the end of the battle," said Spider-Man, as he flew to the top of the Bluecorp tower. "Hey, Emily! You're missing the great goblin war!" That one quip caused Hobgoblin to stop setting up her big machine. "What's with the weird antenna machine?"
"If you must know, I am preparing to spread my goblin serum all over the city. Once that's done, I'll spread the serum all over the world and everyone will obey me until the end of time! HAHAHA," said Hobgoblin, as she did her evil laugh… which caused Spider-Man to web the serum out of her hand. "Hey!"
"Sorry Emily, but I gotta save you from this everlasting hell," said Spider-Man. Hobgoblin launched a missile at him, only for him to block it with magic. "Holy shit! This geode is awesome! I guess it's time for a magic show, with real magic." He then used his magic to grab Hobgoblin, and knock her out of her physical form. "Doctor Strange, eat your heart out."
"What the hell was that?" asked Emily, who was now a spirit. "Put me back in my body this instant."
"No, not until you learn the errors of your mistakes," said Spider-Man. He then guided Emily's spirit to the edge of the Bluecorp tower. "Look at what you caused. Is this what you wanted? A war of goblins against the lessons your father taught you, and a misuse of the technology he left for you, is this the world you wanted?"
Emily stared at the war she had caused as tears ran down her face. "I didn't want to hurt anyone, I just wanted to make daddy proud," sobbed Emily. "I didn't know I would hurt anyone."
"That's what the magic of friendship taught me, that no one deserves to be hurt. True friendship comes from laughter, kindness, honesty, loyalty, generosity, inspiration, and magic," said Spider-Man. "But there is one element that many people tend to forget… empathy. So I'm telling you this now, I'm really sorry that I ditched you on our last heist, and I think you could use some of the magic of friendship."
"But all I've done since we broke up was drive people apart, I don't know the first thing about making friends," said Emily.
"I think my friends and my new girlfriend can show you how," said Spider-Man. "But first thing's first, you need to cure everyone you infected with the goblin serum, and get rid of the Hobgoblin for good."
Emily nodded, and got back in her body. "It's a good thing I had this just in case," said Hobgoblin, holding a syringe with an anti goblin serum. She then injected herself with the cure, turning her back into Emily. "Wow, that feels good, I felt like doctor jekyll and Mr Hyde, minus the Doctor Jekyll."
"Trust me, the whole superpower thing gets weird pretty easily," said Spider-Man. "Now, I believe that you need to cure everyone else who's been infected with the goblin serum."
"I've got the cure for that," said Emily, as she replaced the goblin serum in the antenna machine with the cure. She then activated the machine, causing everyone infected with the goblin serum to be cured and turned back into humans (who didn't have any clothes on because the goblin serum made them too big for their clothes). "It's a good thing most of the employees are women." She then faced Spider-Man. "I guess this means I'm going back to jail."
"You're damn right you're going to jail," said Clumsy Parker, as he and the rest of the Canterlot officers walked towards Emily. "Since you had a redemption arc, your sentence will end around Christmas."
"I deserve this, don't I?" asked Emily, to which Spider-Man nodded. The cops handcuffed Emily, and walked her to a police car.
"Well, that was anticlimactic, but it was worth it," said Spider-Man, as he web-slinged all the way home.
One week later…
The crusaders and Hector were sitting in front of the mascot statue having a picnic, when Emily walked by them. "Hey, it's captain bitch," said Hector. "I thought you'd be released by Christmas."
"Me too, but your mom let me out early on the condition that you teach about the magic of friendship," said Emily. "Besides, this school is a good place to learn about friendship. So, what's my first lesson?"
"Easy, don't inject yourself with a goblin serum and try to kill your ex and his new girlfriend," said Hector, causing the girls to laugh hysterically. "But in all seriousness, you should just get to know someone before you judge them."
Suddenly, someone came out of the statue portal, which turned out to be Hector's Smurf counterpart.
"Sorry if I'm late for the talent show, I would've gotten here sooner if Discord wasn't so stressed about inviting Fluttershy to his house. It was honestly the craziest thing I've seen," said Hector, which was when he realized that his human counterpart was right in front of him. "Make that the second craziest thing I've ever seen."
The two counterparts just stared at each other. "Hi, you must be Hector Smurf. My name is Hector Parker," said Hector, who was amazed by the fact that another version of him existed. He then noticed Hector's crown. "What's with the crown?"
"Oh, this old thing, I was recently crowned prince Hector. So, what do you think?" asked Hector.
"I think Twilight is going to go bananas after she sees us side by side," said Hector. He then checked his phone, and realized that the talent show was about to begin. "Since you're already here, we might as well go to the talent show."
Later that night…
That night at the school's talent show, Hector was feeling nervous about performing in front of the school, but he still felt confident that he was performing either way.
"Hey, are you feeling okay?" asked Twilight, who was helping her cousin get ready for his performance.
"Yeah, I'm just nervous about performing a song about a break up after my ex-girlfriend's redemption arc," said Hector.
"Relax, she's just glad you didn't call Uncle Jokey to send her to jail… again," said Twilight. "Well, you better get out on the stage."
Hector then got on the stage, where he began to play the piano.

Once Hector finished the song, he received a standing ovation from the crowd. "I think I'm going to like this town," said Hector, with a smile.
"So, I'm pretty sure you all know my story," narrated Hector. "I may not have been able to save Emily's dad, but I was able to save her. And I will never forget my family motto, with great power there must also come great responsibility. Who am I? I am Spider-Man."
The End
Mid credit scene:
Hector and the Equestria Girls were scanning the geodes to see what secrets were hidden inside, when suddenly, the scanner started showing weird readings.
"What's going on with the geodes?" asked Applejack.
"According to these readings, these aren't geodes… they're infinity stones," said Hector.
Spider-Man will return… with the Canterlot Avengers…

Hector was wondering if the geodes had anything hiding in plain sight, when his dad showed up.
"Something bothering you, kiddo?" asked Clumsy.
"I was just thinking about the geodes. If they're infinity stones, then that means there must be a Thanos in this dimension," said Hector.
"Then it's time we initiate operation marvel," said Clumsy.
"Okay, but we're gonna need some superheroes," said Hector. "And I think I know just who to ask."
The Canterlot Avengers will debut…
That's right, I'm doing my own Avengers storyline. It's going to be a Spider-Man story that has origin stories for the other members of the Canterlot Avengers, while also having slice of life stories and villain origin stories. I'll also stick to my tradition of having a sick day chapter, mainly because it's flu season. By the way, I'm publishing this chapter on my birthday, so wish me a happy birthday in the reviews. Also, I decided to change the earth number of this universe to Earth-BF 1138, as a reference to Dexter's Laboratory (watch the episode Black Foot & Slim to understand what I'm talking about).
