I get out of bed and look at the spot beside me and notice you're not there. I know you're not there but I still wonder if you'd ever come back.

His early mornin' attitude
You have to drag him out of bed
Only frosted flakes will do
He gets that from me
Yeah, he gets that from me

I walk to the room beside me and I see the joy of my life sleeping. I poke him in the back and whisper in his ear. "Get up you lazy bum," but he doesn't do anything except pull the covers over his face. "Get up or I won't make you breakfast," I warned and he pulls the covers slightly under his adorable face.

"Frosted Flakes?" he asked.

"Of course Ethan, now get up," Ethan, our boy shoots out of bed and runs to the kitchen as I stare in wonder. He gets that from me.

His curly hair and his knobby knees
The way the sun brings those freckles out
Talk and talk never miss a beat
Yeah, he gets that from me
He gets that from me

I look at our child and smile at him. He has his messy black hair that I try to get combed but it never works. He has those green eyes that I loved to see in yours and dream into as you look at me.

He looks at me with those big brown eyes
He's got me in the palm of his hands
And I swear sometimes
It's just like you're here again
He smiles that little crooked smile
There's no denying he's your child
Without him I don't know what I'd do
He gets that from you
Oh, he gets that from you

He then looks at me with those big green eyes as I tell him I can't play chess with him. When he does that it feels like your still here, he's alive in you. He smiles that beautiful smile that I know he will need me till the end; He gets that from you Harry.

How he loves your old guitar
Yeah, he's taught himself to play
He melts my heart
Tells me he loves me every day
And cracks jokes at the perfect time
Makes me laugh when I want to cry
That boy is everything to me
He gets that from you
He gets that from you

I look at the pictures of my wedding day with you and I have to cry a small tear dwon my cheek. The Ethan comes up to me and hugs me and I know he loves me.

"I miss him too Mum." He says and I hold him tightly. It's only been six months since you have been gone from our life. I still can't believe a, eight year old can take this that his own father is gone from his life. I smile as I see him looking at the picture of him and you when you tried to show him how to play Quidditch and he fell, but he didn't stop there, he gets that from you.

Last night I heard him pray
Lord, help me and mama make it through
And tell daddy we'll be okay
He said he sure misses you
He sure misses you
He really misses you
He gets that from me

I tucked Ethan in and I heard him say..."He'll come back Mum, I know he will." I gave him an extra hug and kiss his forehead like I always did too him at night.

"I know hun." And I walk to the door and hear him mutter to the ceiling.

"Lord, tell me Daddy to come home again. Me and Mum miss him too much." And I heard his soft breathing and know he went to sleep.

I walk to the window and gaze outside waiting for...the doorbell rings and I wonder who would come over at midnight, well except for Ron and maybe Draco. I hear the knock on the door and know in my heart it wasn't the two of them asking for food or a bed to sleep in.

I open the door quietly not to wake my sleep head. "Yes?" I look at the face of a hooded man.

"Hello Hermione," he says and pulls down his hood from his face.

"Harry?" he nods.
