Poké Rangers Relic Hunters Chapter 1: The Crown of Weather Part 1, a pokémon fanfic

A/N: Welcome to Poké Rangers Relic Hunters. This series is going to be worth your while. I can't wait for you to read this series. We take off where we left off… at the Sky Pillar. On that note, fasten your seat belts, grab your popcorn.

Chapter 1: The Crown of Weather Part 1

The sun was setting along the beaches of the Sky Pillar as a few trainers were walking around the torches of past rangers that fought. For one ranger, who was wearing a white t-shirt with blue jeans, she was carefully placing the torch in the spot. She also had her red jacket tied around her waist. She had tan skin, black hair and blue eyes with a red barrette in her head. She turned around as she looked at the submarines that were coming toward them. She has never seen something like this.

"So," she said, "Who are they?"

She felt a dark-skinned hand touch her left shoulder as he looked at them. He wore a blue t-shirt with a dark blue zip-down hoodie. He had black jeans and white and blue shoes, looking at the submarines. His dark eyes scanned them as he was looking at them. His other hand clenched into a fist. He had dark hair with brown eyes, wearing a blue cap.

"Rachel, these guys are bad news," he said.

The other two rangers walked over toward them. One was a male wearing a white t-shirt with a green plaid shirt and blue jeans. He also wore a silver necklace around his neck. He had dark green hair that was cut with hazel eyes. He wore black and yellow sneakers with green stripes. Next to him was someone similar. She had hazel eyes and dark green hair tied into a ponytail. She had a yellow tank top with a black leather jacket. She wore blue shorts with black and yellow sneakers.

"So… do you think they are here to build a base, Zander, Lamar?" the ranger asked.

"Grace, I highly doubt it," said Zander, brushing his green hair with his hand.

"They are after something," said Lamar, "I sense it."

"What?" asked Rachel, "So… who are those people?"

"Team Aqua," another female ranger said. As she walked to her, she wore a pink t-shirt with glitter on her shirt. She had black wrist bracelets and wore cargo shorts. As for her hair, her hair was dark pink that was set in an ombre cut style. She also donned ruby contacts, "These guys are bad news. Granted, Team Rocket is worse… they are not to be messed with."

"Huh?" asked Rachel.

"Yep," another voice said. He was bulkier than the other male rangers. He had a black t-shirt with a black cowboy hat that was placed around his neck with the hat covering his back. He had blue jeans and green shoes with golden stripes on them. He also wore a golden chain. He had short black hair with brown eyes, "These guys are bad news. In 2005, they and Team Magma almost destroyed the planet trying to resurrect Groudon and Kyogre."

"That happened about seven months before the Poké Rangers began," said Lamar, looking at them, "It took a trainer, Steven and orbs to stop the resurrection. Of course, according to what the history books say."

"So…," said Rachel, "Then, I wonder what they want with us."

The submarines stopped at a complete halt. Within seconds, Team Aqua members started invading the Sky Pillar Sanctuary. As the Team Aqua Grunts arrived at the sanctuary, the grunts pulled out their pistols aiming at the rangers. The rangers froze as they stood, watching as someone was climbing up the stairs. The sound of keys rattled as he jumped toward the front of the group. He had a blue jacket with black pants and a blue belt that wrapped around his waist. He had black shoes and jewelry on his hands. He had a black goatee with brown eyes with silver earrings. Finally, he wore a blue bandana. His eyes aimed directly at the rangers.

"Hello… we have some things to discuss, scamps," he said.

"And who might you be?" asked Rachel.

"That's Archie. Team Aqua's Leader," said Seb.

Archie stared at them, laughing hysterically as the rangers looked at the group. He turned around as he looked at the torches, "So… this is the sanctuary of the Poké Rangers…"

He laughed as he looked around, turning to the rangers. Rachel took out her Mystic Morpher, aiming at him. The Aqua Grunts went to stretch out their weapons. Archie laughed as he walked toward her, "No, no, no… you use any means, my grunts will shoot you down."

Rachel turned around as she looked. Seb nodded as he looked at her. Placing her Mystic Morpher back in her suit, two other people walked up from behind. One was female and she wore a blue crop-top long-sleeved shirt with blue pants that had bright blue jewels on it. She had a golden belt around her waist. She had dark brown skin, blue eyes and she had black hair with blue eyes, with her golden goggles. As she arrived with an automatic rifle, she laughed as she looked at her other admin. He was shirtless with dark blue pants with blue and white designs. He had had a golden belt around his waist with a golden necklace. He had dark blue gloves, black hair with blue tips and a beard that had blue hair. He laughed as he raised a semi-automatic rifle.

"Boss, we secured the area," he said.

"Good job, Matt… Shelly," said Archie, "You have nowhere to escape."

"Seeing that you want to kill us," said Urara, "What do you want from us?"

"The Primal Weapons… the Delta Saber, the Omega Gauntlets and the Alpha Trident," said Archie, "The three of them are needed for our plan to succeed. We know that you know about their whereabouts."

Seb chuckled, "Rangers, I don't think Archie knows what we are capable of."

"Yeah," said Rachel, turning around, "We are not giving them to you."

"Then…," said Archie, laughing, walking away, "I guess you leave us no choice… company!"

The Aqua Grunts and the Admin aimed their weapons. Lamar, who was in the middle of the group, sneakily took out his Mystic Morpher. Opening his morpher, he pressed a few buttons. The rangers were looking at each other as Lamar turned to the group. Archie laughed as he snapped his fingers.

"Jinga Majuna!" Lamar shouted.

Putting his hands up in the air, a blue barrier surrounded the six of them as the bullets rang out. The rangers quickly followed suit, making a bigger barrier. As the barrier disappeared, the six rangers struck a fighting pose.

"You've got to do better than that," said Lamar.

"Aqua Grunts, send your Pokémon!" said Archie.

Immediately, the Aqua Grunts, who were dressed in black and white t-shirts, blue pants, black shoes with blue bandanas, threw out Poké Balls. The Poké Balls released a few Poochyena, Zubat and Carvanha, which were in some of the pools in the Sanctuary.

"This should be a breeze," said Grace.

"Yeah," said Zander.

"Furfrou, let's show them!" shouted Urara, throwing her Poké Ball.

"Flare!" shouted Rachel, throwing her Poké Ball.

"Greninja!" shouted Lamar, "Let's go!"

"Leavanny!" shouted Zander, throwing the ball.

"Jolteon!" shouted Grace.

As their five Pokémon popped out of their Poké Balls, Archie and Matt went to strike with their weapons. Immediately, Seb pulled out his Mystic Lamp. Pushing the button, it turned into a blaster. Pulling the trigger, golden bullets rang out, piercing Matt and Shelly's weapons to the ground. The two turned to Seb as he aimed at him, "You two are my opponents."

As one quadrant of the Aqua Grunts summoned a bunch of Zubat to attack, Grace and Rachel nodded as they went to strike.

"Jolteon, Thunderbolt!"

"Flare, Flamethrower!"

Jolteon and Flare released their attacks, yellow lightning and a tunnel of flame surrounded the group as a bunch of the Zubat landed on the ground. The Aqua Grunts grumbled as they turned around to look at each other as they dashed toward the group. Immediately, the two Pokémon stood with anger.

"Jolteon, Pin Missile!" shouted Grace.

"JOLT!"

Jolteon released a tower of pin missiles, shooting down the Aqua Grunts. Flare jumped up, releasing a Fire Spin. The group were stuck in the flames.

The Carvanha started jumping toward Leavanny and Furfrou. Urara turned to Zander, "What do we do?"

"Distract them…," said Zander, turning to Rachel, "Rachel, how about some sun?"

Rachel nodded as she was kicking one of the Aqua Grunts, "You mean that new move?"

"Yeah!" shouted Zander.

Rachel opened her Mystic Morpher, jumping over them. She turned around as she stretched out her morpher, "Gi Gi Gigiru: Sunny Day!"

The sun intensified as Leavanny began to absorb energy. As the Carvanha started to chomp, Urara nodded as she turned to the group, "Furfrou, Take Down… don't worry about their Rough Skin ability."

Immediately, Furfrou screamed as she charged, tackling all the Carvanha. As the Carvanha landed on the ground, the Carvanha started chomping on Furfrou. Leavanny stretched out its arms as a green aura surrounded his hands, turning into blades. A green and yellow aura surrounded his mouth.

"SOLAR BEAM!"

A blast of green and yellow energy shot out, destroying the Carvanha. As the Carvanha fainted, the Aqua Grunts turned around as they went to strike.

"Razor Leaf!" shouted Zander.

Shooting leaves straight out his body, the Aqua Grunts were hit by the attack. As the Poochyena went to strike, Greninja jumped up, shooting hundreds of Water Shurikens, damaging the Poochyena. Greninja jumped landed on the ground. The Aqua Grunts turned to each other and then decided to come at them. Zander threw a roundhouse kick and then an axe kick to another grunt. Urara flipped backwards, sweeping the grunts down with her feet. As she flipped forward, she kicked a bunch of them. Lamar punched a few of them and then used a spinning hook kick across, landing them on the ground.

As Rachel and Grace flipped forward, the ladies kicked Shelly in the stomach. Shelly screamed as she landed on the ground, turning to them. Matt turned around as Zander and Lamar kicked him in the stomach. Matt landed on the ground as the six rangers struck a pose. Their Pokémon hissed as the Aqua Grunts started running away back to their submarines. Matt and Shelly turned to each other as they looked at them.

"Now, let's take it to the next level," said Matt, pulling out a pistol. Pulling the trigger, a net struck out as their Pokémon were captured. Seb turned around as Archie laughed. He looked at the rangers as Shelly released her pistol. Pulling the trigger, the six rangers screamed as they landed on the ground. Seb turned around as they looked at the rangers.

"If we morph… we are in danger of doing murder," said Lamar.

"Lamar, thanks for your opinion. They want to kill us," said Rachel, turning around.

"Surrender the weapons or these Pokémon are ours!" said Archie.

Urara turned around, "I am with Rachel on this!"

Zander turned around, "Good luck looking for them because we don't have them."

Grace turned around, "Shall we?"

"You guys are nuts… but I guess we will have to destroy Team Aqua to preserve peace on this planet," said Lamar.

The six rangers took out their morphers. They opened their morphers as they activated their spells, "Magical Source, Mystic Force!"

"Solar Force, Mystic Force!"

Zander pressed a green button on his Mystic Morpher. A green lightning bolt struck the sky as a green Magiland logo appeared. A spiritual Virizion plummeted down on the ground as a green aura surrounded him. The Magiland logo appeared on top of him as his whole suit magically appeared. He had a green ranger suit with a black M on his chest with golden stripes. He had green gloves and green boots with black and gold lines. He also had a golden belt with the letter M on it. Attached to his suit was a green cape. Equipped on his right side was a black and white staff with a green leaf on top. His head stood straight as his helmet appeared on top, revealing a green helmet shaped like a Virizion.

Urara pressed a pink button on her Mystic Morpher. A pink lightning bolt struck the sky as a pink Magiland logo appeared. A spiritual Xerenas plummeted down on the ground as a pink aura surrounded her. The Magiland logo appeared on top of her as her whole suit magically appeared. Unlike Zander, Urara wore a pink skirt with white leggings and pink boots. The top was the same, cape and all. She had fairy wings on her staff. Her head stood straight as her helmet appeared, revealing a pink helmet shaped like a Xerenas.

Next, a blue lightning bolt struck the sky as a blue Magiland logo appeared. A spiritual Suicune plummeted down as a blue aura surrounded him. The Magiland logo appeared on top of him as his whole suit magically appeared. It was exactly the same as Zander's uniform. The staff was attached with a raindrop attached to the staff. He looked straight as the helmet appeared, that looked like a Suicune.

A yellow lightning bolt struck the sky as a yellow Magiland logo appeared. A spiritual Zapdos plummeted down as a yellow aura surrounded her. The Magiland logo appeared on top of her as her whole suit magically appeared. It was exactly similar to Urara's uniform. The staff was attached with a lightning bolt on top. She looked straight as the helmet appeared, shaped like a Zapdos.

Finally, a red lightning bolt struck out of the morpher and into the sky, revealing the Magiland circle. A Moltres flew down from the sky, surrounding Rachel in a red aura. The Magiland logo appeared on top of her as her whole suit magically appeared. It was exactly similar to the uniforms of Grace and Urara. The staff was attached with a fire symbol on top. She looked straight as the helmet appeared, shaped like a Moltres.

A golden aura surrounded Sebastian as a Solgaleo surrounded him. Lights struck him as a white light surrounded his body, except his head. Immediately, he wore golden gauntlets and golden boots with black rims. He had black spandex suit with golden armor attached. He had golden gloves as well. On the chest armor, he had black lines that surrounded the armor as well as his abdominal armor. He also had a golden S as his belt buckle. Finally, he wore a silver and gold cape. For the finishing touch, his helmet was designed as a Solgaleo.

"Poké Rangers Mystic Force!"

Archie stood there, stunned as the rangers took their Mystic Staffs out. He turned to them, "Don't just stand there, kill the scamps, trash the place and steal the weapons!"

Matt and Shelly picked up their weapons. Before Matt could use his, a green vine surrounded the weapon, pulling it back. Lamar took out his Mystic Trident. A blue aura surrounded his trident, "Hydro Slash!"

A wave of water surrounded Matt as Lamar smacked him with the weapon. Matt screamed as he landed against the wall. Zander turned around as he grabbed his Mystic Axe, cutting the net. The Pokémon freed themselves from the net.

Shelly went to release her golden knives. Throwing them, Grace blocked them as Urara stood with her. The rangers stretched out their weapons as lightning bolts and wind surrounded them. A huge pink funnel surrounded Shelly as lightning surrounded her.

"Mystic Tornado!"

Screaming, she landed on the ground, smacking into Matt. Archie turned around as Rachel and Seb dashed together. Rachel surrounded herself as she turned into a stream of flames. Seb nodded as a golden aura surrounded his Mystic Lamp. Pulling the trigger, a steel like beam emerged as Rachel absorbed it. Rachel opened her eyes as she took out her Mystic Boxing Gloves.

"Solar Sky Attack!"

Smacking Archie on the ground, the rangers landed on the ground. Archie looked beat up as he turned to Matt and Shelly. Shelly was damaged with a bruises and gashes on her face. Matt had blood coming from his mouth as he looked up.

"WE WILL FIND YOU!" shouted Matt.

"Retreat for now," said Archie, "We will get them back for this…"

The admin walked toward one of the submarines that were left. Matt turned around as he looked at him, "Why can't we just kidnap them?"

"They are beyond kidnapping. They are dangerous. Now that I have seen their true power, we must destroy them at all costs… even if we can find a way to strip them of their powers or something!" said Archie, "Back to base."

The submarine started to sink down to the water. A flash of lights surrounded them as the group looked at each other. The rangers were in shock as they looked at the sanctuary.

"What a mess," said Rachel, looking at the sanctuary. There were burnt marks, bullet holes and even broken glass. She looked up as she turned to the others, "All of this history, destroyed. But, right now, we do not have time to waste. We need to go find Camille, Marianne and Etna."

"Right…," said Seb, turning to Lamar. Lamar and the others took out their morphers. In a flash of light, the Solgaleo Express hustled back to the mainland while the Mystic Dragon flew across with the Moltres Zord flying separately. As the six zords started floating away, Matt watched as he looked at them, laughing.

"They know… and we are going to intercept," said Matt. He turned around as he noticed his Sharpedo submarine. Pressing the red button, the glass of the ship opened. Immediately, Matt climbed into the sub. Closing the shield, Matt laughed as he pressed a few buttons, "To the Aqua Hideout."

The submarine began to dive into the water. As the sub continued going deeper underground, Matt pressed a few buttons as he piloted through Route 131, heading north. He laughed as he increased speed, driving past through divers and wild Pokémon that were floating in its path.

Meanwhile…

The Mystic Library was still bright and beautiful as ever. The magic books were placed on the shelves. There were tables that were placed. Lamar's desk was still clean with a Crystal Ball on top. Grace's cauldron was placed in the back. There were decorations hung all over the place. Woodmodore, a Bonsly creature that stayed in its pot was excited to look at the decorations. Three girls were also working on this wonderful, exciting event. One girl had red hair with a pink streak tied into a ponytail with ruby eyes. She also wore a black t-shirt with blue shorts and her backpack was strapped on. Sighing, she placed her backpack on the ground as her Pyroar walked over with a bag of plates.

"Oh, you can put them there… just don't burn them this time!" Etna demanded.

"At least my Pokémon saved the Mystic Library from catching a blaze. Diana and the others unfortunately couldn't make so they can begin reviving Magiland," her friend stated. She had aquamarine blue hair tied in a ponytail, dressed in a simple blue shirt, white shorts and flip flops, "Besides, I think this will be fun for them. It's our last day in Hoenn and I wanted to show our thanks before we go battle Yvestros and his goons in Kalos. I hope Tristan and the others are okay."

"Santos mentioned things have been quiet. If Kalos is safe, that's all that matters, Marianne," the third female trainer said, turning to Woodmodore, "Wouldn't you agree?"

She walked down the stairs with her purple hair and emerald eyes staring at the team. She was wearing a violet t-shirt with blue jeans. She also wore a green jacket. As she turned around, the door slid open. The ladies turned around as the Mystic Rangers slid down. Looking up, Rachel turned around, noticing the decorations.

"Nice decorations!" said Rachel.

Etna grumbled. The rangers turned to her as she looked at Woodmodore, "We weren't ready yet…this was our gift for protecting us."

"A celebration?" asked Grace, grinning, "You didn't have to do this… But…"

"But?" asked Marianne.

"We have a MAJOR problem," said Zander, "We need to sit down together. That is, if there's cake."

Urara smacked him in the stomach. Zander turned around as he looked at her.

Meanwhile…

The Aqua Hideout was looking beautiful as it parked outside of Route 124. As the Sharpedo Submarine docked on the outside, Matt managed to pop out. He climbed down and headed toward the cave entrance. Walking on the glass bridge, he walked up the stairs as he turned to see two Aqua Grunts. As they saluted, he saluted as he walked up the stairs. Getting to the top of the stairs, he took out his blue key card. Sliding it, the elevator opened its doors. He grinned, turning around while pressing a silver button. As the elevator headed down to the basement. The doors opened, leading to a dark hallway. It had blue lights that aligned its passageways. With red lights hanging down, Matt was walking toward the main door. As he walked toward the group, Shelly was sitting on the left side of Archie, who was looking at him straight in the face.

"Hello," said Matt, "Forgive me for being late."

"You were supposed to join us," said Archie, "Why did you stay?"

Matt grinned, "My stomach told me I should stay."

He turned around as he stepped up on the stairs, "It seems that they have talked to people known as Marianne, Etna and Camille. The three hold the artifacts."

"WHAT?" asked Archie, turned around, "And you didn't pursue."

Matt raised his hand, "I wanted to do more research…"

"Those three…," said Shelly, looking into the computer on her screen. Her jaw dropped as she turned around, "Wait…"

"What is it, Shelly?" asked Archie.

Shelly was looking at the three girls that she saw as they were watching battle footage from recent battles. She put her hands on the console and stood up right away, "I KNEW IT! She looked familiar."

She pressed a few buttons. Immediately, the admins looked up, noticing the group. Archie stood there in anger, "Camille… I've heard of her. She played a huge role in Team Rocket as a member. She then left and became one of the top trainers in the world."

"So…," said Archie, "That's why she looks familiar."

"There's more," said Shelly, "She and Marianne are part of a Poké Rangers team in Kalos. They are the Knights of Order."

Archie clenched his fist as he stood up. He looked at the team, "So… it seems that we are up against an elite squad. Well, I am not going to sit here and watch protectors of the planet get in my way of getting the Crown of Weather!"

"The Crown of Weather, sir?" asked Matt.

"Yes… if we can get the crown and the relics with it… we will be able to energize Kyogre… and flood the planet," he said, turning around.

"About those rangers," said Shelly, "You saw what they did to us! How do you expect us to fight them?"

Archie grinned as he turned to them. He laughed as he looked at them, "Well… I have an idea."

Meanwhile…

"Wait," said Marianne, "Team Aqua wants our Primal Weapons?"

"Yes," said Rachel, turning around, "It was a bloody battle at the Sky Pillar. They had guns, Pokémon, and literally threatened to kill us."

Etna raised her hand out as she looked confused, "But, why would they want all three weapons?"

The door slid open as the rangers turned around. The six rangers turned around as they struck a fighting pose. Marianne and Camille also struck a fighting pose with Etna clenching her fists to fight. As the door opened, another person walked inside. He had red hair with brown tips with red eyes. He had a red t-shirt with a green and white hoodie. He had blue jeans and white sneakers.

"Simple. I can answer that."

"Jack," said Rachel, "How?"

Jack nodded as he walked toward them, "I traced your signal from the Sky Pillar. It seems you guys have a lot more on your plate than sealing the King of Darkness."

"Look, we need to get them back to Kalos. We need to figure this out," said Seb, "So, what's the point?"

"It's going to be hard," said Jack, "At least to get them out."

"Why?" asked Rachel, looking at the former red ranger as he took a deep breath.

"Team Aqua is after The Crown of Weather," said Jack.

"What is the Crown of Weather?" asked Woodmodore, "If I may ask, what is it?"

Jack sat down as he looked at the team, "10,000 years ago… Queen Mariah tried to destroy the whole planet. Warriors who used our powers were able to help fight this war as well as Rayquaza. Rayquaza, believe it or not had a human form. His true form is the dragon that you know. The Crown of Weather is a Rayquazian artifact from the Rayquazian Kingdom. Whoever wields the crown becomes powerful and wields great power. When Mariah trapped Rayquaza in the Sky Pillar, the Crown was lost."

"So…," said Lamar, turning around, "Why do they need the artifacts?"

"The Crown of Weather brings a balance… so when it was buried… the artifacts were then split around the Hoenn Region. I monitored this when Marianne, Etna and Camille were bonded to them. They chose them to be guardians. It also enhanced their powers," said Jack, "But, it did create other problems. For example, Master Hades absorbing their energy… and when he was destroyed, there was activity in an unknown island."

"They must be looking for the three artifacts," said Camille, "So they can get the crown… and maybe find Kyogre again."

"So…," said Rachel, turning around, "What happened in 2005?"

Jack grinned, "Of course, I was only a freshman in high school. This was before I was a ranger. Team Magma and Team Aqua stole artifacts in Slateport City. They stole orbs from Mt. Pyre as well. They tried to combine powers to bring back Groudon and Kyogre. Rayquaza used his energy to calm the beasts. They were never found again."

"The Crown of Weather seems to be a hot key to energize two legendaries," said Seb, turning around.

"But, if Team Aqua are looking… then Team Magma is looking for it too," said Marianne, turning to the ground.

"Team Magma…," said Rachel, rolling their eyes, "Since when has this region ever had two criminal-like teams?"

"Believe it or not, it has been the only one," said Grace, turning to her.

"So," said Rachel, "What if we ship the three of them off? It could bide them time and then we can be ready to face them."

Urara turned around as she looked at Rachel, "It's not that simple. But… seeing we have the weapons… what if we find the crown?"

Seb looked at Urara as she turned to Seb, shrugging, "Have you lost your mind?"

"Well," said Urara, raising her hand up in the air, "If we seize the crown, send it to Magiland. They will never find it. Besides, you can't get into Magiland without a Mystic Morpher."

"True," said Zander, nodding his head, "Well… it's an adventure."

Jack sighed as he took a deep breath, "Well, I want to find it actually."

"Why?" asked Rachel.

Jack looked up as he turned to the team, "Rangers, my team and I have learned that there is a way to bring Rayquaza back from the dead. In order to do that, we need that crown."

"What's in it for us?" asked Grace, turning around, "Because, let me tell you. We have to defend ourselves… especially with Archie and potentially Magma's leader."

Jack nodded as he turned to them, "Well, regardless… we need to search for the crown."

Zander turned around, noticing the chocolate cake and then turned to the rangers, "So much for celebration."

"Agreed," said Woodmodore, sighing, "Well, rangers. It's best that we seal this place as well."

The rangers turned to Woodmodore. Woodmodore nodded as he turned to the rangers. Rachel nodded as she turned around, "I understand."

"Seal the place?" asked Urara.

Rachel turned around as she looked at the group, "Well, rangers. Woodmodore and I talked about this. We would only use it if Hades attacked the house. Woodmodore and I are going to secure the Mystic Mansion. We will be able to return… but this house will disappear."

"Correct," said Woodmodore, "I say that as well because they are not supposed to know about Magiland. Therefore, we must secure this place. We can of course make it appear at another time."

Lamar nodded in response, "Right because if they know about Magiland… they will definitely try to do something."

Etna nodded as she looked at them, "Well… at least we tried having something. But, I would rather have this place secured."

"Team Aqua knowing every spell…" said Zander, "Not good."

Rachel nodded as she turned around, looking at the group. She placed her Mystic Morpher in her pocket, "Grab your things. Let's seal this place up."

Meanwhile…

The smell of ashes could be felt through the caves of Mt. Chimney. A group of people were walking along Jagged Pass, wearing red hoodies with a black M on their chest with black shoes. As they were marching through, Numel and Machop were fighting each other. Continuing to their location, they snuck around the cave, seeing the magma filling the metal chambers behind the glass. As the people continued to walk around, they noticed a room with robots being built, shaped like Typhlosion and Camerupt. They walked down the stairs, noticing a man who was watching two screens. He had red hair with a blue eye glass. He had a red and black lab coat with a black t-shirt with black dress pants and black shoes. His red eyes were glaring at what he saw.

"So… they are after to it?" he asked.

"Yes…," said one of the people, "Sir, it looks like the Poké Rangers are the answer."

"The Poké Rangers?" the boss asked, "Hmm… they are a handful."

Another person walked into the area. She had a red and black suit with a red dress underneath. She had pink and red boots. She also had purple hair and purple eyes, which was covered by a red hoodie.

"Those are the rangers that defeated the demons and the underworld of darkness…," she said, "I wouldn't mess with them. They almost murdered Matt and Shelly."

Another person laughed as he walked into the room. He was a strong man, wearing a red business suit with a red shirt underneath. He had red pants and black boots. He had black hair with red eyes as he looked at them.

"Well…. Maxie, I am sure we can handle it," said Tabitha, "Burn them… and destroy. Take the weapons… and get the crown."

"We want the Crown of Weather to revive Groudon? Then this is what we are going to have to do," said Maxie, "We must find the rangers and steal the Primal Weapons!"

Tabitha looked at one of the screens. There were a few Team Aqua cars heading to the mainland of Hoenn, driving through, heading south of Mauville City, heading west.

"It looks like they are on to something," said Courtney.

Maxie turned around, "Grab the dirt bikes! We have to stop them now!"

The alarm sounded as Courtney, Tabitha and Maxie walked toward a golden door. The golden door opened as they saw red and black dirt bikes with weapons attached to them. Maxie laughed as he looked at the team, "I have been waiting for the day when we can use one of these. We will take Hoenn by force instead of a Pokémon battle!"

As the group got on their dirt bikes, the cave opened with sunshine shining in the cave. He laughed as the group dashed toward the sun, heading out onto Jagged Pass. As the crew continued going down Jagged Pass, Maxie could be heard, laughing in the background.

Meanwhile…

The rangers managed to get their essentials out of the houses, packed in their backpacks. Rachel turned around as they saw backpacks of clothes, food and even some of their own precious things. The Primal Weapons were wrapped in a black cloth bag as Rachel turned to the others. Woodmodore nodded as he looked at Rachel, "I am going to stay and guard this house…"

"You sure you don't want to come with us?" asked Grace, "You're going to be lonely."

"Please… I have been lonely for so many years. I can wait another," said Woodmodore, grinning, "It was a pleasure to see you all and be your… friend and mentor."

The Mystic Force Rangers grinned as Woodmodore floated up, giving high fives and hugs. As Woodmodore walked inside, he floated back to the Mystic Library. Rachel revealed her Mystic Morpher as she turned to the team. The others nodded as they released their morphers.

"Ancient magicians of Magiland, guard this mansion with magic…," said Rachel.

As their Mystic Morphers began to glow, the rangers struck their morphers as beams of light surrounded the mansion. The mansion began to glow in a golden light as Rachel closed her eyes.

"Neramax Mysto Dispos!" she shouted.

Immediately, the golden light got brighter. Instantly, the building disappeared. Rachel nodded as she saw the foundation over the mansion.

"So," said Jack, looking at the mansion, "You just sealed it?"

"Yep," said Rachel, turning around, "No one can get in or out unless I reverse the spell. In this case, Team Aqua or Magma won't be able to get in."

"Oh really?"

The rangers turned around as Rachel and the others struck their fighting pose. There were blue cars that were surrounding the place with the white "A" logo on the car. As Archie, Matt and Shelly got out, the admin laughed as they looked at each other.

"So… your hideout… where is it?" he asked.

Matt laughed as he looked at them, "I think we have been standing on it, sir."

"It was here," said Rachel, "So… we are going."

"Not so fast!" said Archie, throwing his anchor keychain. Rachel dodged the attack as she turned to Archie. Archie laughed as he looked at her. Matt turned around as he looked at them, noticing the bruises and cuts.

"You are going to pay for what you have done," said Shelly.

"Aqua Grunts, show them that we don't need Pokémon… hand to hand combat!" shouted Archie.

Before the Team Aqua Grunts could attack, explosions surrounded the area. The rangers took cover as Team Aqua Grunts screamed. Archie turned around as he noticed a few dirt bikes with weapons attached. He gasped as he looked at the group, "Maxie… Team Magma!"

"Hello, Archie," he said, laughing as he turned to the rangers, "Now, I am not here for you, Archie. I want the weapons."

Etna, Marianne and Camille stood with a fighting pose. The rangers turned to each other as they looked at them. The three nodded as their fighting pose got stronger.

"There's ten of us…," said Rachel, "You won't get the weapons!"

"Attack, Aqua Grunts!"

"Attack, Magma Grunts!"

"I can't believe we are attacking humans," said Rachel.

Urara sighed, "Well, their criminals. No sympathy for these guys!"

The rangers dashed over as they began their battle. Zander flipped backwards as he kicked four Team Aqua grunts in the face. Jumping up, he turned around as he saw Poochyena jump up to bite him. Before Zander could do anything, Leavanny popped up, slashing a few of them. As they landed, Zander turned around as he used a backfist to one of them.

"Thanks, Leavanny!"

Turning around, Matt tackled him to the ground. As Zander turned around, Matt cracked his knuckles, "Now, to make you an example, ranger."

As he took out his net launcher from his pocket. A net struck out as Zander was caught. Releasing blue bolts, Zander was electrocuted. Landing on the ground, Zander turned around as he took out his Mystic Morpher, "Razor Leaf!"

Leaves from surrounding areas went to strike the net. The net, however, was unbreakable. Zander turned around as he looked up.

"Nice," said Matt, laughing, "Now, I can beat you to a pulp! Sharpedo!"

As Sharpedo popped out to attack. Zander stood there as Sharpedo went to open its jaws. Leavanny came across, slicing it. Sharpedo was knocked down, jumping up and down without water. Leavanny landed on the ground, in pain from Sharpedo's Rough Skin.

"Now… how about some water fun? Starmie, Swift!" shouted Shelly.

Tentacruel nodded as she released golden stars. Urara took out her Mystic Morpher. Pressing a button, a pink whirlwind surrounded her as the golden stars fell, causing explosions. Her Frufrou tackled her Starmie to the ground. Urara flipped forward, kicking Shelly in the face. She turned around as she struck a pose.

"Take one of these!" she said, taking out black stars with purple and red designs, "Starmie Shards!"

Urara screamed as explosions surrounded her, causing her to land on the ground.

Meanwhile, Lamar punched Tabitha in the face. Tabitha grabbed his right fist and twisted it behind his back. He then kicked Lamar in the face. Lamar looked up as Tabitha grinned.

"You looked thinner than the last time you were in the history books," said Lamar.

"Are you calling me old?" asked Tabitha.

"Maybe…" said Lamar.

"Macargo… burn him!" shouted Tabitha.

His Macargo rose from the ground, releasing a stream of flames from his mouth. Lamar dodged the attack as he turned to face Tabitha. Lamar threw his Poké Ball in the air, releasing Greninja. Greninja turned around as he stood next to Lamar. A blue aura surrounded Lamar as he struck out his Mystic Morpher.

"Gi Gi Gigiru!"

A blue aura surrounded his morpher as he transferred to Greninja. Greninja's eyes opened as Lamar struck his hand out, "Aqua Jet!"

Striking Macargo quick, Greninja struck him down. Lamar jumped forward and threw a punch in the face. As Tabitha landed on the ground, Lamar turned around as he struck his fist. Immediately, a chain, made from metal, shaped like bones, wrapped around Lamar. Electric shock surrounded both as they landed on the ground. Tabitha laughed as he looked at him. Lamar coughed as he dropped his Mystic Morpher on the ground.

"Ha…," he said, "This is perfect."

Next, Grace flipped forward as she kicked Courtney to the ground. As she dashed over, she used her Mysitc Morpher. Jolteon snarled at her Camerupt.

"Camerupt, Earthquake!"

As the quake intensified, Jolteon screamed as it was struck by the ground. Jolteon yelled as he landed on the ground.

"Jolteon!" shouted Grace, she took out her Mystic Morpher, "Gigiru!"

Two red boxing gloves were summoned. As she went to strike Courtney, Courtney grinned as she did cartwheels. She laughed as she looked at her. She struck her hands up to her face. Metal nails struck out from her wrists, developing boxing gloves. Grace stood there in surprise as Courtney laughed. She turned around as she threw a punch in the face. Grace blocked as she kicked Courtney in the stomach. Courtney turned around as she released nails from her right wrist. They were like spikes. As the spikes arrived, explosions surrounded Grace as flames surrounded her. Courtney laughed as she was looking at this. As Grace tried to break, the flames pushed her back. Grace took out her Mystic Morpher.

"Zapdos, grant me power! Thunder!"

As black clouds surrounded the sky, yellow bolts surrounded Courtney. Courtney laughed as she was insolated by the attack. As the lightning broke off, Courtney grinned as she looked at her with happiness.

"Perfect…," she said, laughing.

Maxie and Archie struck Seb and Rachel. Rachel and Seb screamed as they landed on the ground. Rachel rolled around as she turned to Seb. Seb nodded as the two went to strike.

"Mystic Staff: Sword Mode!"

"Mystic Lamp Blaster! Solar Blade!"

The rangers were armed, ready to battle. Archie dashed toward Seb. As Seb went to strike with his Mystic Lamp Blaster, Archie laughed as he pressed a blue button on his left wrist. An anchor appeared as he grabbed Seb's wrist. Archie grinned, releasing a blue electric bolt. Seb yelled as his Mystic Lamp Blaster fell to the ground. Archie laughed manically as Seb landed on the ground.

Maxie grinned as he noticed Rachel's weapon. As she went to strike, Maxie snapped his fingers. A black barrier surrounded him as Rachel bounced back. Maxie grinned as he snapped his fingers again. Immediately, two silver guns popped out of his arms. Pulling the trigger, flames erupted. Rachel dodged as her Mystic Staff Sword turned into a red and white saber with blue flames.

"Fire Prominence!"

As she stabbed the ground, blue flames erupted. Maxie screamed as he flew to the ground. As Archie turned around, he laughed as Maxie landed on the ground.

"Of course…," said Archie, turning to Rachel, releasing his anchor. Rachel grabbed on to the chain. Using her legs, Archie flew across, landing on the ground. Rachel turned around as she dashed forward, grabbing Grace out of the flames. Seb quickly turned around, slicing through the net, releasing Zander. Marianne, Etna and Camille finished the grunts with their Pokémon off screen with Jack as they turned around to face the team.

"So… you had to one up us," said Rachel.

"Yes," said Maxie, "I have studied every move since Team Aqua's encounter."

"And I swore that we would be back," said Archie, "We came armed this time."

"With what?" asked Zander.

Rachel turned around as Archie grinned, releasing a black rocket launcher. He laughed as he looked at them.

"Rangers!" shouted Rachel.

As the six Mystic Rangers went to take out their Mystic Morphers, Archie released the rocket. The rangers turned around as the rocket split into six Sharpedo like teeth. The rangers screamed as their phones were ripped from their hands, chomped. The rangers turned around as the teeth bit into the Mystic Morpher.

"No way!" shouted Rachel, "The Mystic Morphers are impenetrable."

"Ha!" said Archie, "It's amazing what we learn from you."

Urara tried to rip hers off, nothing happened. Seb tried to use his Mystic Lamp to shoot the teeth. As gold beams struck, nothing happened. Suddenly, a golden aura surrounded his lamp as it disappeared. The rangers turned around as Maxie laughed.

"Ha! Ha! Archie that was good! What else does it do?" he asked.

"It's a signal inhibitor… so, if they are getting signals from their morphers, regardless of where their powers come from, it severs them from morphing."

"So," said Camille, turning around, "What if there was a real attack?"

"Ha! Who cares? By the time we get the crown... Groudon will wipe them out," said Maxie.

"No… Kyogre will. Team Aqua will take over this planet once and for all!" shouted Archie.

Maxie turned around as he looked at him. Zander turned to Lamar as the two started arguing. As Lamar tried to rip the Sharpedo teeth off, they were bitten into it.

"So…," said Grace, "What do we do?"

"Simple," said Rachel, she said, "Use our greatest weapon… Courage."

The rangers nodded as they struck their morphers in the center. As they closed their eyes, golden auras surrounded their morphers. Team Aqua and Team Magma turned around as they golden aura surrounded the morphers. As the teeth began to electrically charge, a massive explosion surrounded them. The six rangers screamed as they flew down the hill. This time, the Mystic Morphers were severed. Maxie and Archie laughed.

"Even using your inner powers, you plan on doing the same thing?" he asked.

"That's enough!" shouted Jack, pulling out a red and white blaster. As he went to pull the trigger, Matt and Shelly released a net, grabbing the white bag that was on the ground. Opening the bag, he noticed three glows of light. Pulling out the Alpha Trident, he laughed as Jack looked at the others. Team Aqua immediately grabbed Camille, Etna and Marianne. Laughing, Archie turned around with his anchor.

"Drop the weapon, Red Mighty Morphin' Ranger," Archie said.

"No way... give up the weapons," shouted Jack.

"Or… the three rangers die," he said.

The Aqua Grunts released more Poochyena, snarling at the three trainers. Jack turned around as he aimed at Archie. Before he could pull the trigger, Tabitha grabbed him and punched him in the face. Jack grumbled as Archie snapped his fingers. The group grabbed the three as he turned to Maxie.

"I want the Crown!" he shouted.

"Come get it," said Archie, opening the car door.

Maxie waved his troops. Immediately, both teams scurried off to other locations. Jack got up as he picked up his Blade Blaster. Turning around, he headed over to the cliffs, where he heard groaning. The rangers were up, but badly hurt.

"They blew up our morphers," said Zander, "How can we defeat them now?"

"In such a short time, they were able to figure out a way to handle us," said Urara, sighing, "That's troublesome."

"And let me tell you…," said Lamar, looking at the morphers, "Cressla is going to be angry."

"Yep," said Grace, turning around as she looked at the rangers, "But, we got to stop Maxie and Archie from finding the Crown of Weather."

"How can we without magic?" asked Seb, raising his hand.

"More importantly, Grace is right. But, I can't revive the mansion without my Mystic Morpher. We are basically on our own," said Rachel, sighing, "Unfortunately."

"Not really," Jack said, climbing down the hill to see them. The six rangers turned around as they looked at Jack. Jack grinned as he turned to them.

"What do you mean?" asked Zander.

"Rangers… there is a way to combat Team Aqua and Magma," said Jack, "Come with me."

A/N: Originally, this was going to be a 30 page chapter… but then it would technically be too long to read. I chose to modify Team Aqua and Magma. I know, traditionally, Pokémon were the way to go with this but I figured if they are going to be the enemies in this chapter, I have to go above and beyond! They are not like what you saw in the anime or what you saw in the games. I realized that Team Aqua and Magma needed to have more than just a Pokémon, hence the dangerous battles you saw.
