After a while Msr. Saiki calmly turned around with a bright smile, like nothing had happened, her husband got out of her way rapidly, as if his mere existence would throw her off

"Honey" she said with the sweetest voice "what happened to Ku?"

Kusuke didn't answer, his brother did not look good at all. Yeah he won, but at what price? He loved his brother. He didn't mean to use that game in that manner… he seriously didn't think that Kusuo loved his friends that much. There was no way.

"Honey?" His menacing mother asked again "what. Happened. To .Kusuo?"

Kusuo seemed to have a fever and was bleeding from where his limiters were installed.

"I just played a little game with him" Kusuke responded quietly

"If it's a little game, then why is he in this state?"

His mother's weird over-the-top sweetness was quite scary, but he had to endure it and give her the right answer.

"He'll be fine, mom" he let out a sigh and walked passed her to go look at his brother "once he wakes up and I explain to him that it was all a joke, he'll go back to normal"

His mother took a deep breath in, still smiling, and slowly let it out "Kusuke, I want Kusuo to be okay, maybe your competitions are getting a bit too far."

Kusuke nodded his head as his mother was leaving Kusuo's room alongside her husband. Kusuo still seemed as if he was still suffering. It was all an illusion, being able to control and have access to his limiters helped create this situation, maybe it was time to quit playing with him like his mother had suggested.

"I just wanted to know about your new friend" Kusuke whispered. He couldn't hide the sadness in his voice. He truly wanted to be a reliable brother.

The hours went by slowly, while Kusuke nursed Kusuo back to his original state.

Once he wakes up he'd be able to explain that it was all a simulation, there was no need to be upset. His bleeding didn't last much, it was just from irritation, and his heart won't have to ache because it was all fake, an illusion.

Away, on his desk Kusuo's phone kept ringing while he slept. Kokomi was trying to figure out what was wrong with him, she had not heard from him since Saturday.

She couldn't ask the others because they might take it the wrong way, and Kusuo hadn't given her consent on revealing their relationship.

'We don't even have a label yet! How could I reveal anything?' Kokomi thought as she wrote notes from class 'what's wrong with my Kusuo? Should I call his mother and ask? Oh NO NO NO! HOW COULD I DO THAT?! His mother might take it the wrong way! What am I to do?!'

Kokomi let out a sigh and half the class turned around

"Teruhashi do you need anything?"

"Is something bothering you?"

"Could I get you anything?"

The questions kept coming, but all she could do was smile and be nice. No one could know she was worried about Kusuo, not yet anyway.

'I just need to smile and pretend everything is okay'

Slowly, the asking voices quiet down, until no one talked.

"I wonder where my buddy is" Nendou said trying to hide his hamster in his shirt pocket

"Do you think his sick?" Yumehara asked

"It must be dark reunion! They took him

hostage because of me!"

Kokomi stood up and slam her hands in the desk and got out of the bedroom

"What's wrong with her?" Mikoto asked the rest

"She might be having a bad day. Poor Teruhashi." Yumehara answered "maybe we can take her out with us today!"

Mikoto smiled brightly "yes! Let's go to a nice place that has deserts!"

The girls kept talking happily while Kokomi, who was in the bathroom, tried calling Kusuo's phone, but no one would answer. It kept saying to leave a voice note.

She didn't want that! 'I want Kusuo to answer the phone! Why can't he answer it?!'

Maybe the answer was to go by his house.

'I don't care if his family takes it the wrong way! So what? Im we have already done… many, many things!' Kokomi rose from the toilet where she was sitting and hid her face with her hands 'I can't believe I'm thinking this! Am I that much in love with him? Oh god! Why must I feel this way towards him?!'

Kokomi kept squealing in the bathroom, but she got a hold of herself once she heard some people coming in. She needed to go ahead and leave the bathroom, she had an image to keep up.

Slowly the time passed, with every minute coming closer to the finish hour Kokomi grew anxious. She kept trying to put up excuses to Kusuo's parents so they wouldn't think that they were involved with one another, she thought she didn't care, but in reality she didn't, just because she didn't want to break Kusuo's trust.

**RING**

When the bell finally rang, Kokomi got up from her desk and smiled brightly. She needed to be seen as a calm and collected lady, after everything she was perfect. Her beauty normally helped her achieve what she put her mind into.

As she started to walk towards the door Yamehara and Mikoto stopped her

"Teruhashi!" Yamehara said grabbing her arm "why don't we go and get some sweets to that cafe?"

Kokomi smiled, wanting to be left alone

"I heard they have a new pastry that they are showing" Mikoto continued

"Yes yes! I promise you'll feel better"

Kokomi just smiled some more 'perfect! Now I really do have an excuse to go see Kusuo! I'll get him the best desserts I can find!'

"Definitely! Let's go get some sweets!" Her face lit up, she was so excited now.

Kokomi, Yumehara, and Mikoto spent a few hours together laughing and enjoying each other's company. It was a nice distraction from the missing Kusuo.

"I'll see you two tomorrow then!" Kokomi said brightly, while she tucked her hair behind her ear "thank you for today. I truly had a wonderful time!"

Mikoto and Yumehara gave a huge smile while waving goodbye to Kokomi

"Anytime!"

As they disappeared Kokomi turned around and headed back towards the bakery they had been in, she got a few deserts and lots of 'oh wow' from there, and hurry to Kusuo's house. There weren't any incidents, somehow her commute to Kusuo's house was peaceful, without an incident.

When she got there her heart started beating 'I hope my Kusuo is okay' she took a deep breath in 'I got this! I can do it!'

Kokomi arranged her clothes correctly, so she could look presentable to Kusuo's parents 'they like me right? I'm more than sure that they accept me!'

The wind blew as if it was pushing her to go, she started walking towards the bell of the house

'I hope you're okay Ku'

At that moment Kusuo was sitting on his bed, his head throbbed from when he had woken up.

Kusuke had explained that everything was a simulation, weirdly enough he had apologized, and after finishing his story he left him alone. Kusuke didn't wait for Kusuo to accept his apology or make any comment.

"Argh" Kusuo said getting up and looking over at his desk. Did Kokomi text? It was time to finish that relationship. He closed his eyes and sat on his bed once more, everything was back to normal but would Kusuke do this again, and make him worry about his friends?

It was better for him to quit it, that way Kusuke wouldn't bother them. It's not like he was interested in friendship… right?

Kusuo closed his eyes, and laid down on his bed, his hands covering his face. He exhaled loudly.

His heart ached for some reason it was so odd for him to feel this way.

In his imagination Kokomi was there looking at him with a bright smile, it was vital for him to rush to her, hug her, feel her warmth against his body, touch her and feel the way her body molded against him.

He wanted to grab her waist, and press his finger against her delicious honey tasting lips. Hear her moan while he kissed and sucked on her delicate body. He wanted her, his manhood throbbed as he thought of her in that manner. Her beautiful white body with nothing but her wet underwear replayed on his head over and over again, he wanted to see her but now he can't find it in himself to go to her. Why was he scared?

It had only been a day but He missed her… He had been ignoring everyone's messages and calls. He needed a break to know what he needed to do or how to proceed. His feelings were all over the place. Honestly, he couldn't believe that that simulation had affected him so much. Even recalling it sent chills down his spine.

Is not like this is the first time his brother has used his friends against him. He used to not care… well, he cared a bit but not like he cares now. But this time, this time it hurt. His heart ached strongly as the minutes that felt like hours passed in that arena.

Kusuo couldn't get the bloody arena out of his mind, even if it was a simulation, it felt too real, the desperation he felt while being trapped in the balcony was Authentic, seeing his friends get murder one by one just because his brother wanted to know about Kokomi left him with a bad taste in his mouth. He might not admit it but he does care about them.

But… what if it really does happen? He would be the one to blame. There was no if ands or buts. He would be the sole person to be at fault.

So it would be best for him to move or leave altogether. Homeschooling is an option, they would quickly forget about him, they wouldn't even miss him so it would be fine if he just disappeared.

'I hope you are ok Ku' hearing Kokomi's thought hit him by surprise. She was at his house. 'Please be okay Kusuo'

Hearing his girlfriend's thoughts made him feel weak. How does he say goodbye whenever he doesn't want ?
