Caution before reading: this is the first fan-fiction i've ever made! You will likely see some issues within this! Also, I'm really not too familiar with the RE:ZERO lore, so I believe some of the events and ways the characters act may be wrong, but I have watched the anime up to season 2 as a reference. I really like the Idea of a villain rising story, I feel it is alot more unique than a hero character, and Diavolo dies alot so it's cool and stuff.

Oh yeah, and please criticize me! Don't be too mean, tell me about spelling errors! thanks? Bye.

Diavolo Death # 192734

Diavolo stood, looking down from a tall skyscraper. He was emotionless, his eyes lacked any color. Any person would lose their minds after even a hundred deaths. He was basically desensitized to death now, it was just like breathing, there was pain, then there was nothing , then there was more death. He stood, waiting to see how he would fall onto the ground below him, that was obviously where this was heading.

A man walked behind him, he was carrying an expensive watch, but the man dropped the watch right under Diavolo, the man didn't want it to break, so, not seeing Diavolo stand in front of him, he tried to grab it midair, sending Diavolo down the skyscraper. Of course, these events made little sense, how could the man not have seen diavolo? He was relatively tall and had unique clothes, but it didn't matter, after death #2784 diavolo noticed that.

As he plummeted down the impressive hights, Diavolo closed his eyes, embracing his demise yet again.

Diavolo was by no means a good person, he had slaughtered anyone who would threaten to reveal his inglorious identity mercilessly. He would hide under the skin of the innocent Doppio, And utilize his stand ability, [King Crimson] to its maximum potential. He would even go as far as to kill his own daughter, to cut any ties with the past, the mob boss "Diavolo" was feared.

It all changed, however, when his greatest foe, Giorno Giovanna, had risen to even greater heights. By obtaining the unstoppable power of requiem, Girono had befallen a tremendously cruel fate to the thought to be unstoppable criminal mastermind. Golden Experience Reqiurm's power, was to force Diavolo to undergo an endless loop of death, for eternity.

But, the thought to be eternal hell that Diavolo was cast into would soon change, as an even greater force pulled him from these depths.

"I love you" a faint voice called out

The pink haired menace would open his eyes, at this point, he was so used to dying endlessly, he had accepted that nothing would change and that this was his fate forever. But, something was different. He was falling from a skyscraper moments ago, yet, here he stood, in this… city?

Diavolo peeped at his surroundings, where was he now? Was this some kind of cruel joke? This land was oddly medieval, and there were walking and talking… animal hyrbids? Was this the next level of golden experience requirm's hell? He had no time to waste, he instinctively ran to safety, he still wasn't dead, but there was no way to know if he would die again soon. He had reached a dark alleyway and took a moment to catch his breath.

Diavolo thought to himself while he laid his arm against the brick wall of the alleyway, perhaps the power of golden experience requiem had failed? He was finally free of his endless torture? Maybe, just maybe, he could—-

But before he could finish that thought, he was interrupted by 3 strange looking goons, he turned his head to face them, and took a sigh of acceptance.

"Well, lookie' here boys, we've got ourselves a fashion expert!" One if the thugs said, carrying 2 knives. He had a blue tint to his hair, and the other goons had laughed at the comment he made.

So, a death by stabbing? This is certainly not one of the more unique deaths that Diavolo has ever faced, previously he has been stabbed in various sorts of ways, but none have ever had any kind of plot like this. Any hope Diavolo had was now shattered as he cowered in fear preparing to die again.

The thought still remained in his head, however, why did he just teleport here?

"What's wrong? Gonna cry? Give us all you got and we might let you go…." The thug had said, plastering a sadistic smile across his face.

Strange, usually when Diavolo was killed, his murder's never teased him with the chance of life. Unfortunately for Diavolo, he had no belongings, his wallet and other items were gone long ago.

He said nothing, he had come to the conclusion talking was pointless long ago.

Diavolo just cowered, lifeless, it creeped the thugs out a little , he barely had any reaction at all.

The man with the knives had looked somewhat puzzled, was this guy messed up in the head or something? Perhaps he couldn't even understand what he was saying.

The 2 other thugs began to pat Diavolo down, looking for any trace of valuables, but immediately fell into dissatisfaction when finding nothing.

"He's got nothing…." The shorter one said, almost shocked.

"So this guy is just a hobo? What a waste of time" the blue haired thug sighed, spitting onto the ground.

Meanwhile, Diavolo was wondering why he was still alive, this was quite a long wait for his inevitable demise.

"I guess we should just kill em' then." The thug announced.

Diavolo didn't react, he was just counting down his timer, growing a little impatient, surprisingly.

Suddenly, a girl had flown above the 4 of them, jumping across the rooftops at incredible speeds. The goons looked up to see what was happening, and were then surprised by a woman stepping into the alleyway.

"Stop that thief! They stole what was mine!"the woman cried out.

Diavolo couldn't even comprehend what was happening anymore. Was he really still not dead? Why was he not dead yet? He stood from the ground and noticed that the woman who yelled out had beautiful white hair, pointy ears, and an angry expression on her face. Was she some kind of hybrid too?

"Just kill me already." Diavolo commented, it was almost like he was speaking to something greater than the thugs.

The thugs turned to give Diavolo a confused gaze, now he was really strange. The woman had a puzzled look on her face but it soon shifted back into an angry one.

She didn't have time for this, but she also didn't know what the circumstances were here. Perhaps this man needed her help?

She turned to one of the thugs holding a weapon,

"Ignore this moron, witch." The blue haired one scowled.

The woman seemed shocked by the rude comment, but immediately brushed it off. Now staring at Diavolo.

"He's nothin' but a weird fishnet hoarder."

"It isn't a fishnet fool." He countered

"Just shut the hell up!" The dwarf-like thug yelled, kicking Diavolo in the stomach.

He recoiled in pain, as some saliva forced its way out of his mouth.

"I'm not going to just let this slide." She finally announced.

"Well, have it your way!" The dagger wielding rouge shouted, now charging at the woman.

"El Huma!" She yelled, as ice pillars began to form around her

Before he knew it, the thug's weapons were knocked straight out of his hands by the mysterious woman, and a volley of ice pillars created an outline behind him.

Instantly, the blue haired man began to shiver with fear and in haste yelled out,

"L-lets get outta here!" As he began to run away frim the alley.

The thugs ran off in panic, following the blue haired thug's lead.

"Hmph" she scoffed, turning to look at Diavolo who was not looking well.

"I'm alive." he was repeating this to himself, first it was whispers, but then he was beginning to yell.

"Are you alright?" The woman asked with concern in her voice

He began to snark, then cackle, and fully laugh uncontrollably.

"Hahahaha! I, DIAVOLO, HAVE OVERCOME…. HELL!" He proudly yelled

The girl was beyond confused, and chose to back away slightly from the crazed man.

"Ummmm, did you happen to see where the theif holding my insignia leapt off to?" She cautiously asked keeping her distance.

He looked up at her, as his laughing fit faded.

"No." He simply said, walking past her.

"B-but-"

"Thank you for your protection, but I do not have time to waste." He stated continuing his way outward

Emilia had thought that this was incredibly rude, she just saved his life, and now he won't even talk to her? She had assumed this was due to her appearance, almost everyone still despised the witch of envy.

But Diavolo was thinking about a lot of things…he was free from Golden Experience Requiem's grasp… for now… and could now get his revenge on Giorno Giovanna. But he still wondered to himself, where the hell was he? And he didn't even take the time to consider that girl had casted some sort of magic onto that thug. Was it a stand? He needed to find out more about where he was first.

And wait, did [King Crimson] finally work now that he was free? There was only one way to find out…

"COME FORTH! KING CRIMSON!" Diavolo shouted dramatically

And unexpectedly, King Crimson had manifested yet again. Its red and white X patterns are incredibly defining. Diavolo's face contorted to a grin, now he just needed answers.

He wandered around this city endlessly, he noticed that he couldn't read any of the signs or postage in this area, this was not Italy. He eventually made his way to a small apple stand, hoping to atleast get an idea of where he was in the world.

The man running the stand had a serious look on his face, he stared into Diavolo's cold calculating eyes.

"Do you want an Appa?" The man asked casually.

Diavolo scoffed

"I come from a distant faraway place. You will tell me where we are." He demanded

His confidence had exponentially increased upon finding out he had the abilities of king crimson yet again, he felt unstoppable. And well, he basically was.

The man, was not taking any of this attitude and changed his expression to a more threatening one,

"If you don't want an appa, and want to joke around with me, then get lost."

"I will ask one more time, where am I?" He asked this time with a more raspy approach.

"Alright buddy. You are in the kingdom of Lagunica, happy?" The man answered, clearly annoyed.

"Kingdom of… Lagunica?"" Diavolo questioned

There were several things wrong with this answer, for one, Diavolo was sure there weren't a lot of kingdoms on earth anymore. And another thing that bothered him was that he had never heard of this 'Lagunica' in his life. He was wondering if this man was trying to play him a fool.

"Is that located somewhere in Europe?" Diavolo questioned yet again

"Europe? What the hell are you on about? Lagunica is one of the 4 great nations. Didn't you know that already?" He answered with a tint of confusion

Diavolo was sure this man was playing a trick on him. There's no such thing as the 4 great nations, and this man speaks as if Europe doesn't even exist. He considered the possibility that the power of GER had placed him inside of a reality where it didn't exist, it wasn't entirely out of left field, afterall.

"Alright then, have you ever heard of a place called America? How about Earth? Maybe even Italy?" Diavolo tested the man

"No, there are no such places in this world." The man answered almost instantly.

"Then if you don't mind me asking, what is the name of this world?" He asked

"There isn't one." He replied

So was it true he was really in a different reality? Was anything here even real? He couldn't be sure if GER created this world with its power and he was now trapped because of its failure to activate.

"I see. Then I won't waste anymore of your time. Do yourself a favor and forget my face." Diavolo had felt somewhat relieved, but at the same time, he couldn't kill Giorno Giovanna…. That struck a nerve in him like no other. He would find a way to return back to Italy, and he would make sure that he would have his head.

"Stupid fo-" the man was about to comment on Diavolo's peculiarities, but was interrupted upon seeing him disappear without a trace.

"Huh, where the hell did he go?" He wondered, a millisecond aho the man stood right in front of him.

And thus began Diavolo's search for escape, in this world which was not his own.

For now, Diavolo's main goal was gathering as much information as he could about this reality, from its strange workings to its bizarre social hierarchy. He still wasn't entirely sure if stands existed here, he knew he had his own, but did others have the potential to unlock theirs? And past that, it seemed there was some sort of magic that some possessed, perhaps he could investigate this further to find some sort of transportation spell.

Right now, he is still in this 'kingdom' of Lagunica. Which was a matter in of itself, there didn't seem to be any technology of any kind, and currency was a system of coins and trade. He needed to find a way to gather some of this reality's currency to further his goals.

He already knew the kinds of work he could do to ensure financial stability. Assassinations. With [King Crimson] he was a ghost, it's one of the reasons no one was able to discover his true identity. And he had no issue with murder. If he partook in some quick killings, he could also make a name for himself.

He realized shortly that he had no idea where he could find any contractors. This was a problem. Perhaps he could start off by searching some shady areas. The sun was still up, so he had time to look.

Diavolo had taken the time to ask around, he wondered if the local populace may know of any ghettos in the kingdom. Almost every person he had asked directed him to a land in which the nobles had abandoned. It was almost barren and lacking in population.

Diavolo had eventually found himself in this land, and he saw many destroyed homes and starving people. Though, he didn't really care about any of that. His main objective was to find a wealthy contractor. He later happened upon a 'loothouse' which seemed a little more kept in comparison to the other areas. He decided to investigate, it was almost dark out after all his searching.

When he arrived at the entrance, he had noticed the door was completely unlocked, but before stepping in, king crimson's second ability [EPITAPH] had activated, warning Diavolo of his demise.

Diavolo was somewhat alarmed, in epitaph's vision he had seen his abdomen completely sliced open, while his organs were strung all over the wooden flooring, he also noticed 3 other figures who suffered the same fate as him, but the darkness in the room had obscured their faces.

But, surprising the pink haired gang boss, epitaph had activated yet again, this time the scene took place where he stood, and he instinctively activated king crimson.

He had decided his best decision would be to hide out for now, as he didn't even know what his killer looked like, nor did he know of their abilities .

As Diavolo was now several meters away from the place where he stood, hiding behind a bit of destroyed housing, he observed a feminine figure stepping out from the loothouse, covered in blood.

She was not particularly tall, but had worn a very revealing black and purple dress, he had also felt an incredibly sickening presence emanate from her. But what was most terrifying about this woman, was her disgusting smile, she had worn it with what seemed like pride as she was covered in the blood of her victims. This woman had reminded Diavolo of Cioccolata, and that wasn't a good thing at all.

Was she an assassin, or just a psychopath? There was no way Diavolo could know unless he attempted to communicate with her. But he was incredibly hesitant to approach them at the same time.

But then Diavolo realised, what did he even have to fear? The power of [King Crimson] was unmatched, he had no competition in this reality, no 'golden experience requiem'. Even the strongest of magic could probably not stop him. He was Diavolo. The Boss.

Of course, epitaph had still warned him of the incredible danger that this woman had brought with her, but with king crimson, he could simply avoid any problems that may come to face. So he stood from the rubble and stepped up to engage in conversation.

He put on his most menacing mask, as his green eyes almost completely illuminated the dark shroud covering him. [King Crimson] was at the ready, and so was he.

The woman, who was now preparing to walk off, turned upon noticing Diavolo's strange disposition. To outsiders, his clothing was odd, it was like he wore a fishnet around his torso and called it a day, not to mention his hair. But, she was still interested. Her grin contorted even more and her eyes lit up, was it possible this man wanted to die as well? He walked up to her as if he had purpose. It was almost comical.

"Greetings." The strange man had opened, he knew he had to choose his words carefully to gain any sort of benifit here.

"Hmmmmm?" The woman jokingly hummed, licking her lips, her eyes weren't even focused on his eyes, but just his stomach, it was almost as if he had exposed it just for her.

"Can I help you?" She asked casually, almost completely disregarding she was stained in blood and gore.

"Indeed…. You strike me as a woman of… unique interests…. I was wondering if you could enlighten me on the type of work you partake in…." He answered, in a serious tone.

Her smile stayed glued on throughout the entire conversation, and her eyes had not yet shifted from the man's stomach.

"Ahahahahaha, work? Why… What a strange thing to ask someone you just met. I haven't even told you my name." She continued.

"But, if you really must know…. I really love slicing people open. There's just nothing quite as invigorating as it. It's therapeutic almost. And when I see the look on their faces as their last breath fades away, it just makes me want to do it all over again. Those beautiful guts spilling out…" The woman began to blush as she described her… work… to Diavolo. As he felt incredibly creeped out by her grotesque explanations.

Diavolo paused for a moment, he really wasn't sure where to go with the conversation at this point, this woman clearly had some screws loose, and he knew that going any further would probably lead nowhere.

"I… see…." Diavolo hesitated.

"But… let's talk less about me and more about you… I bet you have some fascinating bowels inside of your rather exposed stomach…" she was almost drooling at the mouth while she began to turn beet red.

Diavolo prepared to get on the defensive, as Epitaph had yet again activated.

"Is that so?" Diavolo's aura began to explode, as king crimson manifested behind his menacing figure.

The woman, taking her eyes off of his stomach, noticed the red spirit beginning to form behind Diavolo. It was odd, was this some kind of spirit casting she hadn't seen before? She had glanced it off, even though it was peculiar, she didn't really think it would get in between her and this man's wonderous insides.

As she prepared to horizontally slash the man's belly, she was caught off guard by an intense pain in her chest. She didn't even have time to realize that the man was already behind her, as a red blood stained hand pierced her.

"Huh?!? S-So fast!" She mumbled, as blood poured out of her mouth.

The speed at which the man had performed this attack was the likes of which she hadn't ever seen before, it was incredible. He moved faster than she could blink.

"This is the end." The man had said, in a monotone cold voice.

But, it wasn't the end, at least not for Elsa Granhiert.

"How fun!" She had moved forwards, walking out of the hand and turning to face Diavolo. She began to laugh maniacally, what fun this man was! Surely he had some incredible guts to be spilled!

The wound in her chest began to heal almost instantly as she glared at Diavolo with incredible murderous intent.

"I-impossible!" Diavolo muttered in surprise, did this woman really survive a direct attack from king crimson? He didn't have time to process this, as epitaph had warned him of another incoming attack.

"KING CRIMSON!" Diavolo shouted, as the woman slashed yet again, at him.

The ground around him and Elsa began to fall apart, as Diavolo floated in a seemingly endless galaxy. He floated behind Elsa as her remnant sliced at incredibly slow speeds and he knew he had to improvise. Using the incredible power which King Crimson had, he had prepared to slice Elsa's head clean off in a single swipe of its hand.

'There is no way she can recover from this.' Diavolo concluded as he stopped using his ability during the swipe.

The ground around him began to reform as he stood awaiting to see if she would come back from such an attack. As her movements began to regain speed, the slash which was directed upon Diavolo had missed completely, while the slash from king crimson had finally made contact, in a brief moment, Elsa had almost managed to turn to face Diavolo, but before she could fully turns, her head had bounced onto the ground and rolled off. Her standing body then fell and blood spewed out from what was left of her neck.

"You were indeed a bothersome opponent. But it seems you have failed this trial." Diavolo monologued.

"For I, Diavolo, am not easily defeated by the likes of such trash." He remarked. Was he really worried about such a meaningless threat? Pathetic.

But, Diavolo stopped his thoughts upon noticing the thought to be lifeless corpse of this crazed woman, beginning to stand yet again!

"H-how is this possible?" Diavolo's eyes widened.

The body walked over to retrieve its former head, as it easily reattached like it was some kind of toy.

Diavolo could only watch as he soon concluded killing this woman was a harder task than he initially thought.

The revived woman turned her entire body as the injuries across her neck began to heal, as she faced Diavolo with a look of pure rage.

"My My… it seems I have carelessly misjudged you." The woman remarked, clearly a little worn out. She bit her lip so incredibly hard it began to bleed ridiculously.

By now he predicted that she had realised just how King Crimson attacked, because while the stand was incredibly powerful, it relied on the element of surprise. Diavolo was not able to attack within the window given to him when he erased time. So, he decided that attacking her now would be dangerous. And it was probably pointless anyway.

"It seems I have done the same." He added.

She scoffed, clearly pissed off

"I think you are a lot cuter when you don't talk." She barked

"I-"

She began to laugh wildly, it was such an exaggerated laugh that Diavolo frowned, it was beginning to hurt his ears.

Considering Diavolo couldn't simply kill this woman, he figured he would attempt to reason with her, possibly reach some sort of deal. But in her current state, she seemed to utterly despise Diavolo, which wasn't a very good sign.

"Perhaps we could… come to an arrangement?" He suggested.

She stopped laughing, but kept her crazed grin, glaring directly into Diavolo.

"As long as it allows me to cut you open, then I humbly accept!" She screeched, charging at Diavolo with incredible speeds.

But, it didn't matter how fast she moved, Diavolo could always predict her attacks, and that was pissing her off more than anything else.

"Don't you realise it's pointless to attack me?" He questioned before she attacked again.

"SILENCE YOU MISERABLE SCUM! YOU ARE NOTHING BUT TRASH! YOUR BOWELS ARE PROBABLY AS DISGUSTING AS YOU FACE IS!" She yelled, seemingly running out of stamina with every attack.

Diavolo sighed, he could do this forever, but it really was a bother. If he stops paying attention for a second then it is likely she will kill him with haste. He couldn't help but wonder how much longer she could keep at it.

"Well I prop-" His dialogue was cut off by her pointless attack as he vamished to another location.

"-ose that we could perhaps join forces." He continued anyway.

"Do you really believe I would want to side with such a nuisance? You have done nothing but piss me off!" She snarled now catching her breath.

"I believe such an arrangement would be in the best interest of both of us. As we are now, this battle will be one of a never ending skirmish. I can't kill you and you can't kill me." He explained.

"What are you trying to say?" She continued to glare puzzled by what he was suggesting.

"I am merely presenting you with an opportunity. I feel like we could both benefit from working together, with your extensive knowledge of the inner workings of this world, and our combined strength, no one would be able to stop us. Don't you agree?" He spoke.

She paused for a moment, thinking about what Diavolo had said, was he finally getting through to her? She then gave her opinion.

"You really have no idea what youre talking about, do you?" She answered.

"I…. What?" He responded, clearly confused.

She began to cackle, "You think I would just disobey Mother like that? You really are foolish."

"Who is this 'Mother' you speak of?" He asked clearly interested.

"Oh how I imagine you would like to know! Well, I suppose i'll humor you by at least telling you who I am." She started

"Very well." He agreed, this was as good of a start as any. She seemed to have cooled down as well.

"I am Elsa Granhiert, known in the kingdom of Lagunica as, 'the bowel hunter'. My reputation has risen exponentially, if you've possibly heard that name before as gossip in the kingdom, I wouldn't be surprised." She continued

"You asked me what kind of work I do a while back? Well, it varies but I specialize in assassinations across the kingdom." She stopped.

"Now, go ahead and tell me more about-"

"No." Diavolo Instantly interrupted her.

"I will only say this once, I don't intend to make any mistakes this time. You are one of the only people who have survived an encounter with my ability. And one of the few people who has seen my true face. Because you know of this ability and you know of my identity, I will only tell you the one thing you need to know."

"You may refer to me as 'Boss'." He stated coldly.

Elsa took a moment to process what Diavolo had told her.

"But your name is Diavolo, is it not?" She asked

Diavolo realised he had said his name when he thought she was dead, and now that he thought about it, that other girl knew his name as well.

"N-no…. 'Diavolo' is just a person which I hold a lot of… respect towards… like a master." He lied.

Elsa smiled.

"Well I'll just call you Diavolo, since you seem to respect him so much."

"W-wait!" He was getting annoyed by her playful nature.

"Alright, I admit, my true name IS 'Diavolo'. Bu-"

"So now you are just lying to me?" She frowned

"BUT!" He continued

"I believe we can come to a agreement, if you refer to me as 'boss', then I will…." Diavolo then realised mid sentence how pointless it was if anyone knew his name. He doesn't need to worry about his identity anymore because he is in an entirely different world, he was basically a fresh slate.

"Wait a second…" Diavolo mumbled

Elsa began to question what was wrong with this man's head.

"So…. What will you do" she waited, smiling yet again.

"Forget it." He reverted.

Elsa then let out a hearty laugh, moments ago she despised this fool, how could she have been even more foolish? He was quite entertaining.

As she finished laughing Diavolo stood, slightly annoyed by this entire sequence of events.

"Well, 'boss', I believe you said you wanted to join forces with me? Upon further revaluation, it appears I may be able to allow you to join me after all" She grinned.

"But, I believe you mentioned disobeying this 'mother' figure. Is this just going to be a problem?" Diavolo added, wondering about just who they were.

"Well, here's what I'm going to propose, it seems like you wanted to go for a more 'ruthless' approach. And while I do like a very commanding man, you need to understand how things work around here." She elaborated.

'How things work?' Diavolo pondered

"So, I suggest that you prove yourself to Mother, rather than try and oppose her. And if you get lucky, she might just allow you to be in the Assassin's Organization, with me." She continued, smiling a bright smile.

"And if I fail?" He suggested

Her smile grew more vicious

"Let's just say all the speed in the world won't be able to avoid her wrath." Elsa stated coldly.

Diavolo shivered at the thought of not being able to survive such an attack, even with king crimson's ability.

Of course, he knew such a thing was impossible, he could predict any attack, so he was basically untouchable.

"So how must I prove myself?" He asked, staring down Elsa seriously.

"Hmmm. Well, if you assist me in my next assignment, then that should be all the proof I need that you are serious about this. Then I will discuss it appropriately with Mother. But, do keep in mind, she has a tendency to be very strict when it comes to allowing new children to join." She answered, putting a finger on her chin.

Everything was going smoothly, Diavolo did not want to reveal his true intentions, but he had planned to infiltrate this organization and kill the head. If he were to eliminate the top, then he could take over and become the new 'mother', it would be like starting passione again.

"I see. What is your assignment?" He asked, hiding the smile he had with an emotionless frown.

Elsa then reached into her dress and pulled out a piece of paper, indicating her current objective.

She had handed it to Diavolo, as he then realized that he still couldn't read.

He held out his hand when she offered to show him.

He shook his head "I believe that it would be an even better chance to prove myself if I went into this assignment with only your description." He smirked . This was the best he could do, if she knew he couldn't read she would probably believe he was lying to her.

"Is that so? Very well." she blinked, replying rather coyly. Filling the empty atmosphere with yet another smile.

"Then I shall only say this once…"

The assignment was like this, as Diavolo had heard: Their mission was to eliminate a noble by the name of Harris Van Winterhill, he has been causing quite the commotion among most of the other nobles due to his incredibly crude and aggravating nature. He's grown a strong reputation for being unnecessarily lazy, and doesn't use his status as a noble to benefit the economy accordingly. He's a waste of a slot, and because of this, he must be taken care of.

The assignment details that any approach that doesn't raise many heads about their involvement in the killing would be suitable. The death would need to look like a suicide, as it would cause the least amount of questions to be raised.

Diavolo had understood this assignment perfectly, and he was prepared to prove just how powerful King Crimson really was.
