I'm making this as something to fill in space when no one posts anything in at least nine days, or when I'm bored, so don't expect regular updates. Also, this is a series of one shots, so you can read them in any order you please.

Carter's POV

I was really tired. My names is Carter Kane. The guy who saved the world from Apophis, and pharaoh of The House Of Life. I was going to bed that night went I had the dream. As I laid down in my bed, my ba took flight. I wasn't sure where I was going, but I had a feeling it was important. I landed on a perch outside Brooklyn House.

Only it didn't look like Brooklyn House. The tv wasn't here, and the pool was missing. It kinda looked like and 1800s version of my family mansion. I realized that's what it was. I was in the 1800s. A man came through a portal. He looked familiar. Almost exactly like my dad, almost. Except for the hair, and smile, and the anger filled eyes.

I realized from a picture I found recently it was my grandfather, Abraham Kane. He walked straight to the infirmary, and no one stopped him. The house looked kinda sad with only adults in the house. He marched straight into the infirmary, where the woman I knew was my grandmother, Hollice Nadia Kane, or as I called her, Nana, was sitting in bed, a child I realized was my dad, in her arms.

"Abraham, your son is here." She said, looking kinda sad. She had a look in her eyes revealing she was scared to look at Abraham too.

I didn't blame her. Dad said my grandfather was the violent type. Like, he almost choked Nana because she refused to stop eating after not eating for three days. She hadn't been able to escape until my uncle was born, and even then, she hid her identity as a magician, raising Uncle Amos to think he was a second generation crossed blood. That was until Abraham realized just how much Amos looked like Nana.

My grandfather then ripped my dad out of her arms. Dad began to cry, which got Nana worrying about his well-being.

"We will name him Julius. Julius Jabari Kane." The spawn of evil, as my dad called him, said.

Nana didn't protest, but I knew from the look in her eyes that she wanted to hold her son some more.

Abraham left the room, Dad in arms, ordering for Nana to be sedated as he did so.

"Alice!" My grandfather barked.

A blonde entered the room.

"Yes, Abraham?" She asked.

"Raise him. He is not to see his mother, as I don't want him becoming soft, or fearing me. Understood?"

"Understood."

She took Dad and left.

My dream ended after that.

I woke up in my bed. The dream, I knew someone had sent it. But how to find out was the question. I decided to tell Sadie later on in the day.
