I was going through some stories I had on my computer and came across this. It's something I wrote years ago, but thought it might be a good fanfic of our girls, let me know what you think and maybe I'll post more, or just delete it.

The sun was shining bright, letting out a groan, she reached for her sunglasses, that she had perched on top of her head. Letting another groan, rolling her eyes, as she exited the airport. Once the sun hit her face a wide smile grew. Who would have thought, she would have landed a job, at one of the top editing firms in the US, but she did. Glancing down at her bag, she sighed, the heat was uncomfortable, something it's going to take her a while to get used to, but also felt good. Being from a small town in Northern Wisconsin, she was used to the winters being cold and the summers the temperature varied. Some days it was hot and humid, other days perfect. But stepping out into this warm California sunshine, in the middle of January was exactly what she needed. Looking around, she saw a man in a dark suit standing outside a town car with a sign that read Arizona Robbins "guess that's me" she smiled looking up at him.

"Ms. Robbins" he smiled, Arizona nodded "I'm Derek, I'll be your driver this afternoon"

"hello Derek, please call me Arizona" she smiled handing him her luggage, watching as he went to the trunk putting the 2 bags she had inside. He was an attractive man, in his late 30's she was guessing, blonde hair, and a nice body. If that's what you're into, Arizona of course had a whole different thought. Shaking her head clearing the thoughts as he came around opening the door for her, thanking him as she climbed in. 'I bet Teddy would love him' she thought, with a smile. Hearing her phone go off, pulling it out of her pocket, smiling when she read who the text was from. Her only sister, who was also her best friend, and just happened to be her twin. Instead of replying to the text she hit the call button. "hey" she smiled

"good you're still alive"

"why wouldn't I be?"

"wasn't your plane supposed to land hours ago?"

"it was delayed, there's apparently a storm over the mountains, I'm not sure I slept the whole flight"

"what time is it there?" she asked, Arizona could tell she couldn't think of anything else to say so was asking random questions.

"um, I'm not sure" she said looking around, spotting the time on the radio. "it's 2"

"ok" Teddy said

"how about I call you once I get to the hotel"

"ok sissy bye"

"bye" Arizona hung up the phone and placing it in her lap. She let out a sigh and turned her focus to look out the window.

"excuse me, Ms. Robbins" Derek said politely from the driver's seat

"yes" she rolled her eyes, thankfully her sunglasses were still on her face, the one thing she hated was formality, and being called Ms. Robbins.

"I just wanted to let you know we will be at the hotel in about fifteen minutes, he smiled looking into the mirror. Arizona couldn't help but smile, he was an attractive man, if only she went that way. "thank you" she smiled back at him. He nodded and turned his focus back towards the road. Fifteen minutes later found them pulling up outside the hotel, Arizona looked around in awe.

"here we are" Derek said as he pulled the car to a stop.

"damn"

"one of the best in LA" Derek smiled as he opens his door and stepped out. Arizona stood looking at the building at which she would be staying in until she found an apartment, still in awe.

"hello mam" a younger man wearing a bellhop uniform came up to her, she nodded with a smile "is this it?" he asked

"yes" she cleared her throat

"great" he smiled "please follow me" she nodded, following the young man, turning to give Derek a smile and waved, she mouths "thank you" to which he nodded with a smile. "the front desk is right there" the bellhop smiled pointing to the desk. Arizona just took a deep breath; she was finding it hard to breathe being in one of the best hotels in LA.

"I can help you right here mam" the lady behind the counter smiled.

"guess that'd be me" she smiled, and step forward.

"name"

"Arizona Robbins" she said, noticing how cute the woman was. She had brown hair, and beautiful chocolate brown eyes. One thing that got her heart racing was a beautiful pair of eyes.

"well Ms. Robbins, you'll be occupying room 719." she said, Arizona glanced at her name tag which read Calliope. 'pretty name for a pretty lady'. Shaking her head as the thoughts of what she would do to her, if given the chance, began to surface. She realized, Calliope must have said something to her, she chuckled to herself "sorry, thank you" she reached up taking the key card out of her hand, blushing as their fingers slightly touched. 'I'm gonna have to take a cold shower' she thought to herself. The bellhop cleared his throat gaining her attention. "right this way mam"

"thank you" she smiled following the young man to the elevators.

"you're on the seventh floor" he said as he hit the up button, to her surprise it opened right up, they stepped in, he quickly hit the button for the seventh floor. As soon as the doors open, he wheeled her bags, out and down the hall. "here we are room 719." he smiled, stepping aside so she could slide the card to open the door. Wheeling the cart in, he began taking the bags off of it. "is there anything else I could help you with?"

"umm" she thought for a moment "no thank you I'm good" she smiled

"if you think of anything my name is Brandon, and I'll be here until midnight" placing his arms around his back, so he was standing up straight he smiled and nodded.

"thank you, Brandon" she smiled reaching into her front pocket, and handing him a tip. She wasn't sure how much it was, but it didn't matter. As of tomorrow, she will be working her dream job, and making that dream money. She chuckled to herself, good thing that thought was in her head, she knew that didn't make any sense.

"enjoy your stay" he smiled making his way out of the room. Arizona took a deep breath looking around the room. Still finding it hard to believe she was in LA, staying at one of the best hotels, and working for one of the best companies in the US. It was all a dream come true. Lost in her thoughts, she jumped as the phone in the room began ringing. Confused, anyone who would call would call her cell phone, and that hadn't gone off since Teddy called, shaking her head she reached for the phone "hello" she said nervously.

"Ms. Robbins" a woman's voice asked

"this is she"

"sorry to bother you, this is Callie from the front desk" there was a pause as Arizona tried to figure out who this 'Callie' was. The woman on the phone cleared her throat "Calliope"

"oh right" Arizona giggled

"um, I forgot to have you sign some papers, could you please stop down at your earliest convenience"

"sure, I'll be right down"

"no rush" the sweet voice said. Arizona could hear the smile in her voice, as it went to an almost whisper "or I could bring them up to you, I'm done in and hour"

"um" she cleared her throat "that works too"

"alright, I will see you in an hour" she said hanging up the phone. Arizona stood there with the phone in her hand for a moment, trying to figure out what had just happened. Lost in her thoughts, she was brought out by the phone making a buzzing noise, shaking her head she hung it up. Still not sure what was going on. Sighing she took another look around the room, deciding to start unpacking. After all she'd be staying there for a while.

She was just putting the last of her suits on a hanger when there was a knock at the door. Looking at the time, there was only one person that could be. She looked through the peep hole, to see the brown-haired woman from earlier, smiling she quickly opened the door. "hello"

"hi, I um, I hope this is ok"

"more than, come on in" Arizona smiled stepping out of the way, so she could enter. "I could have come down and signed those"

"I know" she smiled "but I wanted to see you again" Arizona could feel her cheeks turn red. "I hope I'm not being too forward here, but would you like to have dinner with me?"

"um" Arizona cleared her throat "I would" she stopped as her eyes went the length of Calliope's body. She was wearing a firm fitting pantsuit, black, with a white shirt under the coat, unbuttoned at the top, but not enough so where Arizona could get a peek at some cleavage. "I would love to" she smiled.

"great" she smiled "by the way, I'm Calliope Torres, but my friends call me Callie"

"Calliope" Arizona smiled "that's a pretty sexy name"

"eh, I've gotten used to it" she winked

"you already know my name" Arizona smiled "my friends, or should I say sister calls me Zo"

"sister?" Callie asked intrigued

"yeah, twin sister, she's pretty much my only friend" Arizona said, realizing at that moment just how pathetic that sounded. "that sounds sad" she laughed

"no not at all" Callie smiled reaching up and touching her arm. She cleared her throat "I should probably sign those, before we forget again"

"good idea, I even brought a pen" Calliope held up a pen. Arizona smiled as she bent over the table to sign the papers. "there you go" she handed them back to her, noticing the smile on her face.

"alright, I'm going to run home and change, how about I meet you back here in let's say, an hour?"

"sounds good"

"great" Callie winked "it's a date"

"is it?"

"I'm hoping so" Callie winked again "I'll see you soon" she said shutting the door

"a date" Arizona whispered, smiling. She was brought out of her trance when her phone began ringing "shit I forgot to call her" she said pulling it out of her pocket "hey sissy what's up?"

"you tell me, didn't you say you were going to call me when you got to the hotel? Did you get lost?"

"no, I'm here" she smiled "I, um, I have some news"

"good news I hope" Arizona heard the sarcasm in her sister's voice

"I have a date" she blurted out

"a real one? With a girl?"

"yes, she works here at the hotel, I forgot to sign some papers, so she brought them up to me, and asked me out"

"just like that?"
"just like that" Arizona laughed

"well don't hold back, tell me about her?"

"well, her name is Calliope, and like I said she works at the front desk, I don't know much more" Arizona said laughing.

"is she hot?"

"the most beautiful woman I have seen in a very long time"

"you're corny"

"yeah well" Arizona laughed, as the room phone rang again. "Teds hold on" she said pulling her cell phone away from her ear to answer the room phone. "hello"

"Arizona" that sweet voice said quietly into the phone.

"Calliope" Arizona smiled she already loved saying her name

"I, um, I'm coming back up" she said

"oh, um, ok" Arizona heard the ping of the elevator through the phone. Then it went dead, pulling the phone away from her ear and placing it back on the receiver. "sorry sissy I have to go, I'll call you tomorrow, good night love you" she didn't wait for Teddy to say anything she just hung up. Tossing her phone on the table, the room was rather large, had a king-sized bed, mini bar, a desk, where she had already placed her laptop, and a mini fridge. She was making a mental note to grab some pop from a store somewhere. Chuckling a bit, she tensed when she heard a knock at the door. Taking a deep breath "you got this Zo" she said trying to give herself a pep talk, making her way to the door.

Slowly pulling it open, she smiled, as her eyes landed on those brown orbs. "I'm sorry" Callie smiled, a shy smile. Arizona stepped aside letting her enter the room. "I just couldn't wait an hour" she said as she made her way into the room.

"that is perfectly fine with me" Arizona felt the smile form on her face.

"would you mind if we just hung out here? Maybe ordered room service?" she asked uncomfortably

"that would be amazing, I'm rather exhausted from traveling"

"oh, should we do this a different time?"

"no, no, I'm fine" she said seeing Callie finally relax. "well have a seat"

"the room service here is amazing, I order from it often, may I suggest the ribeye"

"what makes you think I eat meat?" Arizona asked

"well, your address is Wisconsin, so I just assumed everyone in the Midwest loves meat" she laughed

"you're right I love steak" she winked

"I knew it" she laughed, her smile reached her eyes and the light in the room made them even more gorgeous than they already were. Arizona moved in her chair, feeling a feeling she hadn't felt in a long time. "you're beautiful" she heard Callie say.

"um" Arizona cleared her throat "thank you, so are you"

"would you, um" she cleared her throat, looking directly into Arizona's eyes "would you smack me if I kissed you?" blown away by the question, Arizona didn't know how to answer, of course she wouldn't smack her. She'd been thinking about it since she laid eyes on her, the moment she walked into the hotel. "of course not" she smiled

"good" Callie said standing up, walking over to Arizona "now to do this right" she reached out her hand to help Arizona up. Taking her in her arms, she looked into Arizona's eyes, which were the color of the sky. "my god you're beautiful" she whispered just before their lips met. This will be a moment Arizona will remember forever. The way it felt when Callie's lips touched hers. She couldn't find the words to explain it even if she wanted to. Just as Callie's tongue swept across her lower lip, asking for entrance, Arizona lost all control, their tongues met, slow at first, Callie wrapped her arms tighter around Arizona, pulling her in closer. Arizona had to hold back a moan, Callie tasted so sweet, she needed more. Reaching up touching Callie's cheeks, she had to pull back for air. "my god" Arizona whispered.

"you felt it too?" Arizona just nodded "I've never felt that with anyone" Callie admitted

"neither have I" she smiled, the next thing they knew they were on the bed. Callie hovering over Arizona, hands roaming everywhere. Arizona felt Callie's hand go to the button on her jeans, as much as she wanted this, she had to stop. "Callie, I'm sorry, I'm just not"

"I'm sorry" Callie said climbing off "I just got caught up in the moment" Arizona smiled reaching up touching her cheek "it's not that I don't want to, I so badly want to, but we just met"

"I understand" she smiled "how about we stick to cuddling and making out"

"you're not"

"no, I'm not leaving" she smiled again. "you're too amazing to walk away from"

"you don't even know me"

"even more reasons to get to know you, and take it slow" Arizona smiled, "I want to learn things about you, I want to know what you are like first thing in the morning, how you take your coffee, if you even like coffee" she laughed

"I love coffee, with French vanilla cream" Arizona smiled. "I want to know all that about you too" she whispered.

"good" Callie whispered pushing her back on the bed "now kiss me again"

The next morning Arizona woke up with a smile, looking at the clock she groaned, not wanting to get out of bed. Not falling asleep until after midnight when she finally let Calliope leave. The thought of Calliope made her smile. Rolling over, she grabbed another pillow, taking a deep breath she could still smell her shampoo. A smell that was making her want to see her again. "my god" she said as she rolled over looking at the ceiling. Hearing her phone go off, she rolled over picking it up. A smile crept across her face when she saw Callie's name light up the screen.

Good morning beautiful ? ~C

Back at cha ? ~A

When can I see you again? ~C

Dinner tonight? ~A

I'll be at your room at 6? ~C

I take it you work? ~A. Arizona chuckled to herself, realizing she never asked what her work schedule looked like

I'm actually working right now! ~C "even better" she smiled" typed out a reply, tossing her phone on the bed, climbing out "time to get ready for work", she grumbled making her way to the bathroom. Catching herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but stop and smile. She couldn't remember a time in her life that she was this happy. Maybe right after high school graduation, when she got her acceptance to the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Happy that she wouldn't be far away from home, and her then girlfriend Joann. Who eventually ended up at the same college. She sighed thinking about Joann, shaking her head to get the memories out she often wished she could turn back time and change that. Shaking her head again, she heard her phone go off again she smiled, reaching for her toothbrush, making a mental note to stop by the front desk on her way out.

Finally, dressed and ready, she took a look in the mirror, and smiled. Reaching for her bag, she swung it around her shoulder, and headed out the door. Once the elevators open on the main floor she heard Callie's voice, sending chills throughout her body. She couldn't help but smile, she was busy with someone, so Arizona waited in the back. Once the man had left, she made her way to the counter. Callie wasn't paying attention not even looking up "how can I help you?"

"well" Arizona said "you can start by meeting me in my room at 6." Callie looked up a smile on her face. "I would love to"

"good now that is settled. I'm off to work" she smiled turning on her heel.

"have a good first day" Callie called after her

"thank you, I will" Arizona said turning her head and winked. The car was out front, the driver again was Derek. She smiled as she greeted him "hello Derek, it's good to see you again"

"good to see you again Ms. Robbins" he smiled as he opened the door for her. The ride to the office didn't take long, despite the traffic. Derek sure knew his way around. "I will be back at 4 to pick you up mam"

"thank you, Derek, I'll see you then"

"anytime mam" Derek smiled Arizona made a mental note to ask him if he was married, he would be a perfect match for Teddy.

Once inside the lobby, of the building she would hopefully be spending the rest of her life working in. She looked around, smiling. Lost in her thoughts, she heard someone call her name. "Arizona?" the woman said.

"huh?" she asked confused, "oh" she smiled "yes that's me"

"hi" the woman laughed "I'm Miranda" Arizona nodded, she was the one who Arizona had interviewed with and essentially gave her the job.

"hello" Arizona said reaching out her hand, Miranda took it with a smile "now if you'll follow me" she nodded towards the hall that led to the elevators "you'll be on the seventh floor" she said hitting the buttons. "did you have a good trip"

"I did" Arizona smiled

"I trust the hotel is to your liking"

"it's more than enough, I would have been happy with a Days Inn"

"nonsense, here at CAP, we want nothing but the best for our employee's new and old" Miranda smiled

"thank you" Arizona nodded

"ah here we are" Miranda said as the elevator doors opened and she stepped out. "right this way" she led the way down a hall, stopping outside an office door, which had a sign reading Arizona Robbins, Editor. "wow" Arizona said running her finger along her name.

"you can go on in" Miranda nodded with a smile "this is your office" Arizona opened the door to find a brightly lit reception area where a lady was sitting at a desk. "hello April" Miranda smiled

"hello Mrs. Bailey"

"this is Arizona Robbins, your new boss" Miranda smiled then turned to Arizona "April will be your assistant"

"hello Ms. Robbins" April smiled, she was a younger woman, Arizona assumed she was younger than her. At least she looked younger than her, Arizona chuckled to herself, as April stood from behind the desk making her way around to shake Arizona's hand "it's good to finally meet you"

"you too" Arizona smiled, she should say more but she was still in awe of everything and couldn't get the words out.

"your office is right this way" April said leading the way to a door, as she opened it she stepped aside, motioning for Arizona to head in. Gripping her bag tight around her shoulder, she nodded and walked through the door.

"well I'll leave you to it" Miranda smiled "if you need anything just give me a holler"

"thank you" Arizona said not taking her eyes off the rather large oak desk next to the window. She turned back toward April when she heard her clear her throat. "I'm sorry, what was your name again?" Arizona laughed

"April Kepner" she smiled

"everything has been a blur since I woke up this morning" Arizona smiled thinking about last night.

"I bet it was" she smiled "this is a lot to take in" she motioned around the room "go ahead and get comfortable, I'll be right outside if you need me for anything"

"thanks" Arizona smiled, she made her way around the desk, setting her bag down, opening it digging out what she needed. Sighing she sat in the chair, surprised at how comfortable it was. "of course, it is" she laughed. Reaching for her bag setting it on the floor next to the desk. Looking out the window the view was nothing but amazing. Off in the distance you could see the ocean. She made a mental note to go this weekend. Turning her focus to her desk she found she already had a manuscript to go over. "might as well get started" she smiled, reaching for it.

Xxxxxx

A couple hours later, she was so engrossed in the manuscript, she didn't hear the knock on the door. "excuse me Ms. Robbins" she looked up to see April standing in the doorway.

"yes" she smiled

"I was just headed out for lunch would you like me to get you something?"

"oh, um" Arizona said looking at the clock on the wall it was already noon "no, I'm good thanks"

"or you could join me" April said shyly, Arizona was about to decline when her stomach made a loud growl. Realizing she hadn't had breakfast, and had hardly touched her dinner last night, she smiled "maybe I will join you"

"great" April clapped her hands in excitement

"just give me a minute to grab my stuff" Arizona said setting the manuscript down reaching down grabbing her wallet out of her bag "alright I'm ready"

Well there's the first chapter. What did you think? Should I keep posting?
