When You Decide Something Unexpectedly

[Author's Note: This is an Ironstrange one shot Crossover with Harry Potter. I hope you enjoy it. In this one shot, whatever Stephen and Toni say at the beginning actually happens. Also, if you think this title isn't good give me an idea for a different title for this one shot.]
Harriet Jasmine Potter was sitting at Grimmauld Place and thinking about the second Wizarding War and how it had changed her so. She had decided to visit Gringotts the day before and pay for the damages that she had done. She even tried to pay for damages that Ron and Hermione had done; but the goblins wouldn't let her.
One of the goblins noticed that Lady Potter seemed completely and utterly depressed about something.
"Lady Potter?" The goblin said.
"Hm?" Harriet said.
"Is something the matter?" The goblin asked.
"Oh, I was just thinking about a lot of things that has happened in my life and wondered if things could've turned out differently if I hadn't been raised by my mother's sister." Harriet said.
"Oh?" The goblin said.
"I wonder what my would've been like if I had rescued by Antonia Elizabeth Stark and she had adopted me or even Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme. One could only wonder, I guess." Harriet stated.
"And if you were, Lady Potter?" The goblin questioned.
"I guess my life would probably have a different out come and I would have been properly prepared to fight against Voldemort but something tells me that Tom Riddle may have been manipulate to become the Dark Lord." Harriet stated.
The goblin was stunned and said, "It could be possible considering that you and the Dark Lord were cousins through the Peverell Bloodline."
Harriet turned to the goblin and tears were running down her face because of what the goblin said.
"Lady Potter, were you unaware of this information?" The goblin questioned.
Harriet nodded.
Suddenly, a figure appeared and said, "Lady Potter, I wish to offer you a second chance at life."
"May I ask, who are, please?" Harriet said.
"I am known by many names in different cultures around the world but I am Death." The figure said.
The goblin and Lady Potter were completely stunned to hear this.
"Perhaps, we should discuss this somewhere privately." Death stated.
Harriet and the goblin both nodded.
When they reached the goblin's office and it was sealed with goblin magic afterwards the goblin had contacted King Ragnarok; so he could hear what was happening. Once King Ragnarok was there; Death explained everything to them.
As Death explained the entire situation; King Ragnarok was completely furious at hearing at what Albus Dumbledore had done and looked at Death saying, "The goblin nation, will defend your decision for Lady Potter that we will immediately address the situation with our past selves through goblin magic, Death."
Then King Ragnarok looked at Lady Potter and said, "Lady Potter-Black, I wish to apologize to you personally for what one of my goblins did to you."
"King Ragnarok, I understand and accept the apology because it wasn't really your fault but Albus Dumbledore's fault since he was a greedy person." Harriet said.
"So, are you ready to restart your life, Lady Potter-Black?" Death questioned.
Harriet smiled and said, "Yes, if it means that I can save people and have a loving family that will be there for me; this time."
Death casted the spell sending Harriet back in time to start from the beginning of her life and silently wished good luck; this time around.
~ November 1st ~
Antonia Elizabeth Stark had arrived in London for a business trip for Stark Industries. She was stunned see a few people dressed uniquely while walking and she wondered what some of these people were celebrating.
She saw a heavy set man looking at the people dressed uniquely with disapproval and she apparently felt that this heavy set man was not a pleasant man. However, some of the uniquely dressed people invited for a drink or to talk with them.
It was now getting late after she had gotten done with her meeting at a company called Grunnings and she was actually stunned to see the same heavy set man that she thought that he had been completely rude to the people that were uniquely dressed. She found out through Jarvis that his name was Vernon Dursley and he lived on Private Drive, his house number was four.
It was almost midnight when Toni found herself on Private drive somehow almost as if something was wanting her to be here for some reason.
Several minutes later, Toni suddenly heard voices and she watched from her hiding spot at what was going on. She could see a giant of a man handing a bundle over to the old man after she had heard the woman complained about some muggles whatever that was.
After the three people left; Toni approached the bundle then looked at the number of the house and was shocked to see the who the home belonged to. Then she looked at the bundle and saw that it was a beautiful baby girl and she felt as though she had to do something for this little baby girl. So, she picked the baby girl up and wrapped her coat around them both and started walking towards the nearest hospital so she could get this little one checked out to make sure that she was okay.
As she was walking it started to get a little colder and she bumped into something or someone.
"I'm so sorry." Toni said.
"I'm the one that should apologize, ma'am." The man said.
"Actually, it's just Ms. Antonia Elizabeth Stark or Toni for short. I am on my way to the nearest hospital to get this little one checked out.
"Well, Ms. Stark, my name is Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange and the nearest hospital is about three miles from here. So, let's see if we can find somewhere else to check over the little one and make sure that you're okay as well." Stephen said.
Toni was surprised that this man cared about her well being as well. Then she realized that the name Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange sounded familiar to her suddenly; however, she wondered what he was doing here in England. Then she said, "I sort of know who are but I am curious as to why you're here in London."
Dr. Strange smiled and said, "I sort of know you are as well, Miss Stark. I am Herr for a medical conference. Although, I don't know what you're exactly doing with a child, Miss Stark."
"Well, let's just say that I was at the right place at the right time, Dr. Strange." Toni said.
That caught Stephen's attention immediately.
So, Toni explained the entire situation to Dr. Strange as they were walking to find a place to get out of the cold. Suddenly, someone said, "Come inside, you two."
Stephen and Toni were stunned at what looked like a barman telling them come inside the pub; so they didn't argue because it was getting colder outside.
Inside the pub...
When Stephen and Toni entered the pub; they were surprised to see how full the pub was.
The barman noticed that the couple was surprised at how full pub was and said, "So, what can I do for you folks?"
"Well, my lady friend found this little one left out in the cold and we need a room to make sure that she and the baby girl that found is okay." Stephen stated.
"Of course, sir. I'll send someone to bring some milk for the little one." The barman said.
"Thank you." Stephen said as he led Toni to a room.
A few minutes later, a creature popped in while Stephen was checking over the baby as well as Toni. Both Stephen and Toni were a little startled by the sudden appearance of the small looking creature.
"I is sorry for scaring yous but I brought milk, Tea, and coffee along with snacks for yous." The little creature said.
"Thank you." Toni said.
"Yous welcome, ma'am and sir. Do yous need anything else?" The creature asked.
"May we ask your name?" Stephen said.
"My name being Tilly the house elf, sir." The little creature answered.
"Well, Tilly, thank you again for bringing three of us something to eat." Stephen said.
"Yous be welcome, sir and ma'am." Tilly said.
"Tilly, may I ask you something?" Toni said.
"Yes, ma'am." Tilly said.
"Does the Britain allow children to be left on doorstep out in the cold?" Toni asked.
"No! Ma'am, tis considered abuse of a child. Why yous ask?" Tilly said
"Well, my friend, Toni witness that happen tonight to this little girl and was worried for her safety." Stephen said.
Tilly's eyes went wide and walked over to both Stephen and Toni. When Tilly saw the baby; she knew exactly who it was and looked at them. Then she began to silently cry in mourning.
Stephen and Toni were shocked by Tilly's reaction but they were also curious.
"Tilly, are you okay?" Toni asked worriedly.
"I the house elf to young misses' parents. I saw giant man take young Miss from her godfather. Now, young Miss is with yous." Tilly said.
Stephen and Toni looked at each other for a moment; then Toni said, "Tilly, I wish to protect her and so does Stephen but we're not sure where to go to explain the situation."
Tilly looked at them and said, "I take yous to Gringotts in morning and goblins help."
Stephen and Toni realized that the elf was telling them to get some rest while they could. So, they nodded and fell asleep with the baby sleeping soundly between them.
Tilly watched her little Mistress sleep between the two people that were willingly and wanting to protect her.
The next morning...
Tilly came into the wake them up when she noticed that her little Mistress's magic was connecting with the two muggles which was surprising to her. Then her little Mistress's magic connected to her.
Tilly was somewhat confused by this but in someway it was comforting that she smiled.
Meanwhile, at Gringotts...
The Potters accountant goblin was waiting on Albus Dumbledore because to begin the reading of the wills when suddenly a parchment suddenly appeared before the goblin.
The goblin began to read the parchment:

The goblin was completely shocked and little bit pale by reading this especially the last part and it could only possibly mean one thing; which was that Lady Magic herself was letting the goblins know that she was not pleased with Albus Dumbledore as well as certain people. The goblin immediately went to King's Ragnarok to show this information to him.
The goblin knocked on King Ragnarok's door.
"Enter." Ragnarok said.
The goblin entered and said, "You're Majesty, this suddenly appeared on my desk." handing the parchment to Ragnarok.
Ragnarok took the parchment from the goblin and his eyes went wide as he realized what was happening and turned to the Potter accountant goblin saying, "I believe that Lady Magic herself along with Death, Fate, and Destiny have decided to get involved with young Miss Potter and I will not question it and neither will you or anyone in this bank. It also seems that Lady Magic has blessed the adoptive parents with an Ancient and Noble house as well as a Family Crest."
"Yes, sir." The goblin said terrified that Lady Magic and Death along with Fate and Destiny had decided to be involved in the Potter Heiress's life.
The goblin headed back to his office and there was Albus Dumbledore waiting. The goblin sighed and knew this was apparently going to be a long and exhausting day for himself.
Back with Stephen and Toni...
Stephen began to wake up and noticed that he was wearing a wedding band then he looked at Toni and notice that she was as well. However, he noticed that the baby was not where she was supposed to be then in the corner; noticed Tilly holding the baby.
"Tilly?" Stephen said.
Tilly looked up and said, "Yes, Master Dr. Strange, sir?"
Stephen blinked for a moment and then asked, "Do you know what exactly happened?"
"Tilly could be guessing, Master Dr. Strange. Tilly thinks that Lady Magic did this because Yous and yous lady friend want to keep little miss safe." Tilly stated.
Toni woke up and looked at Stephen and said, "Stephen, I think I just had the weirdest dream."
Stephen looked at Toni and said, "Oh?"
"Yeah, like an out of body experience kind of dream. We were sleeping and the little was sleeping between us and we silently made a vows that we ended up being married without stepping foot into a church." Toni said.
"Um...Toni, I hate to tell you this but I don't think it was a dream." Stephen said
"Huh?" Toni said.
Stephen pointed to her hand; so, Toni looked down at her hand that Stephen was pointing to and she saw the engagement ring along with a wedding band. Then she looked at Stephen with a questioning look.
He returned the look because he was just as confused as she was.
Then Tilly suddenly spoke, "Young Miss's magic recognizes yous as her adoptive parents causing yous to be married by magic. To makes yous truly her adoptive parents wes must go to Gringotts for blood adoption to makes permanent it wills stop goats man."
Toni started laughing at what Tilly had called Albus Dumbledore as did Stephen.
"Then let's get ready and go do this because this is important to us both and we both want to keep her safe." Stephen said.
Toni smiled and nodded.
Once they were ready to go; Toni double checked to see if their adopted daughter, Harriet Jasmine Potter who they plan to rename Phoenix Jasmine Stark-Strange permanently was comfortable. So, Toni walked over to Stephen to make sure that he was okay then she checked Tilly to make sure that she was warm which surprised the house elf.
"Whys misses check Tilly?" Tilly questioned.
"Well, in a way, you're teaching me and Stephen some things about the Magical World but you're considered part of the family and family sticks together." Toni said.
"Toni's right, Tilly. You probably know what her parents routine with her was and you would be able to help us adjust to it as well for us being her adoptive parents. So, you're family as well, Tilly." Stephen said.
Tilly cried happily.
"Tilly, may I ask why you wear what you're wearing?" Toni asked curiously.
"It shows that I servant." Tilly said.
"Well, maybe later we'll find you something a little nicer because think of as reward for helping Stephen and I." Toni said with a soft smile.
Tilly was surprised and started crying which caused Stephen and Toni to worry immediately.
"Lord and Lady Potters always nice to Potter house elves. Tilly is happy that same can be said for Lord and Lady Stark-Stranges." Tilly said holding the baby.
Stephen wondered why Tilly had called them Lord and Lady Stark-Strange. Apparently, Toni was wondering the same because Stephen saw her face.
Suddenly, they both heard, "Ma? Pa?" They turned to see their adopted daughter and was stunned to see her walking towards them with Tilly behind her.
"Little Miss wanted to walk." Tilly said.
Both Stephen and Toni smiled then said, "Good Job, sweetie." in unison.
"Ma? Pa? We go bye-bye?" Nix asked.
"Yes, but we've got to go to the bank." Toni said.
"O'tkay." Nix said.
So, they followed Tilly out of their room and thanked the barman then they followed Tilly to Gringotts.
Meanwhile, at the Hilton Hotel in London...
Two redheaded women were in panic mode over their friends and bumped into each other. Where as Happy was finding it funny seeing Pepper finally lose it when Toni is considered missing but to see a Doctor to lose it over it over her friend as well was hilarious.
"Happy, we have to find Toni and Dr. Stephen Strange! Their rooms were close to each other!" Pepper said with the other redhead beside her.
Happy was surprised but said, "It wouldn't surprise me if they decided to feel like they needed to get away for a bit."
"It's not like Stephen and this Antonia chick ran off and secretly got married and had a kid." Dr. Weiss joked a little tipsy.
Pepper, Christine, and Happy just looked at the tispy doctor. Then Happy said, "I'll get the car so we can search for them."
Back with Stephen and Toni...
They were following Tilly through what was called Diagon Alley to the bank called Gringotts.
"House elf, what are you doing here?" Lucius asked sneering at the elf.
"I with my Lord and Lady." Tilly said.
"Such lies of an elf." Lucius said.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed his and there was man standing there stopping him.
"How dare you touch me!" Lucius said.
Everyone stopped and watched what was going to happen.
"I don't know how British witches and wizards treat their house elves; but my wife and I treat our house elves with respect since my wife and I are visiting London on a business trip considering my wife is a CEO of her family 's company just luckily I was here for a medical conference. " Stephen stated.
Lucius sneered, "Who would take business from a woman?"
"My wife is worth more than you'll ever know." Stephen said.
Lucius scoffed.
"Stephen, is Tilly okay?" Toni asked.
Several witches and wizards Jaws dropped.
Lucius scoffed at this.
"She's good, Toni. Let's keep going or..." Stephen trailed off.
"Or I call our lawyers for an assult on Tilly since she's like family." Toni stated.
Everyone's eyes went wide.
"I'll never understand the British Magicals, Toni." Stephen said, "I mean what do the men think? Women are suppose to stay home and have kids and not work?"
Toni smiled and said, "Stephen, some men just think that."
"Toni, you are billionaire but I love you for you and not your money." Stephen stated.
~ Time Skip ~
Stephen and Toni along with Phoenix apparited with Tilly to the Stark residence in London after their three hour visit to Gringotts.
"Toni, let Tilly take Phoenix to bed." Stephen said.
"Okay, Stephen." Toni said handing Phoenix to Tilly.
"Yous must do the naughty to complete yous marriage. Tilly put privacy spell for you two in Master bedroom." Tilly said.
Stephen and Toni blushed but also wondered how Tilly understood what 'the naughty' meant the bedroom was mentioned.
"And if we don't?" Stephen asked curiously.
"It wills drive yous crazy until yous finish mating." Tilly said leaving Stephen and Toni alone in the bedroom.
Both Stephen and Toni sighed.
Toni undressed as did Stephen and they walked over to the bed. They started out the sixty-nine position for a bit. Ever now and then Toni would shiver at how good Stephen was with his mouth same would happen with Stephen.
Once they felt that they were ready to actually get a little rougher then the sexual frustration that may have been there without them knowing let loose.
Toni moaning Stephen's name with absolute pleasure which sort of pushed him over the edge. Then Toni decided to give Stephen the same pleasurable feeling that she was having.
They had at least four or five rounds of sex with a break in between at least; then finally went to sleep after they washed up from their activities.
The next morning...
Toni awoke and headed to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. Tilly was there with Phoenix who was eating her breakfast.
"Nix, I am sorry that Mommy and Daddy didn't wake up to get you and bring you down." Toni apologized.
"It O'tkay, Ma." Nix said.
"Well, mommy is here now and with Tilly's help let's fix breakfast before daddy comes down." Toni said.
"O'tkay." Nix said.
Toni even was helping Nix with her English a bit when she decided to let Tilly take over cooking.
Which that's how Stephen found them when came down to the kitchen. He couldn't help but smile at the decision that he made.
"Pa?" Nix said.
Stephen walked towards them and said, "Good Morning, Phoenix or should I say Nix?"
"Both O'tkay, Pa." Nix said.
Stephen kissed Nix on the head and he kissed Toni, "Morning, love."
"Morning, dear." Tony said finally taking a sip of coffee and getting Nix out of her high chair.
Then next thing that they heard, "Ma'am? Sir? Happy, Ms. Potts, and a Ms. Palmer are here."
"Thanks, Jarvis." Toni said.
Stephen was somewhat surprised that Jarvis hadn't short circuited yet do to magic. Then Stephen asked, "Tilly, how is Jarvis functioning with magic being around?"
"Tilly not sure but maybe Lady Stark-Strange silently wished that technologies and magic work in harmony. So I guess thats Lady Magic granted that wish." Tilly said, "Alsos, Magical portrait of Lord and Lady Potters awoke."
Stephen and Toni were surprised to hear this.
Just then, Happy along with two women walked in and they were stunned to see the two people that they had been looking for were sitting at the table eating and there was a little girl sitting on Toni's lap.
"ANTONIA ELIZABETH STARK, EXPLAIN RIGHT NOW!" Pepper shouted.
Toni flinched a little but said, "Pepper, calm down, you're starting to scare Phoenix."
Pepper looked and sure enough the little girl was starting to cry that she blinked. Pepper was stunned that she had scared the little girl.
Stephen could tell that Christine wanted to shout his full name as well but seeing the little girl starting cry; she couldn't bring herself to do it.
Happy was just blinking.
"Nix, look at me." Toni said softly.
Pepper, Christine, and Happy watched the little girl stare at Toni.
"Nix, Aunts, Pepper and Christine along with Uncle Happy were just worried about mommy and daddy because we disappeared on them. Okay, Aunt Pepper didn't mean to scare you; she was just worried and sometimes when people are scared, they tend to raise their voice to a certain level." Toni said.
"O'tkay." Nix said.
Christine blinked at being called Aunt Christine by the little girl then looked at Stephen questioningly.
"Nix is short Phoenix and yes, to your unspoken question." Stephen said.
"Dr. Weiss joked about you and Toni going off and secretly getting married and having a child; but to know that you and Toni actually did marry is a shock. However, how come you two have a daughter that looks to be a year old?" Christine said.
So, Stephen explained about what happened the previous night and earlier today. When Stephen finished explaining everything; he decided to let them see the copy of the parchment that he and Toni was given.
Christine along with Pepper and Happy read:

When the three of them finished reading the peice of parchment; they were completely stunned.
"Toni, just one question." Pepper said.
"Yeah, Pepper?" Toni said.
"How are we going to explain your marriage to Dr. Stephen Strange and the two of you having a daughter?" Pepper questioned.
"We'll try to figure it out on our way back home." Toni said.
Pepper looked at Dr. Christine Palmer and said, "Looks like we will be taking you home to New York."
"I appreciate that." Christine said.
~ Time Skip to the Battle of New York ~
Phoenix Jasmine Stark had just finished her second year at Hogwarts and her parents weren't exactly happy what happened and neither was the portrait of her biological parents. Nix was finishing up her homework and a black dog was with her when she came up to the balcony when she saw a man standing there.
"Who are you?" Nix asked.
"I'm Loki of Asgard." The man said.
"Okay." Nix said.
Loki smiled and approached the girl but was immediately attacked by the black dog. Loki threw the dog across the floor and something in Nix snapped. Before Loki could react; the twelve year old went on the attack and Loki was definitely surprised by this.
When Toni landed so she could get the Mark VII suit; she was surprised to see Nix fighting Loki and wondered what had happened until she saw the dog laying on the floor then it clicked. The dog was Sirius Black which was Nix's Godfather within the Magical World in Britain.
Toni and Loki said their monolog to each other. However, when Loki tried to take control of Toni's mind and didn't work; he grabbed her by the throat and threw out the window.
Then moments later, Loki did the same thing to both the girl and her pet dog; however, when the girl whistled something rushes passed him.
Meanwhile, down below in the streets...
Captain Steve Rogers and the other Avengers were shocked to see a young girl and her dog being thrown from the tower.
Thor heard someone scream, "PHOENIX!"
Natasha heard the scream which meant it had come Toni.
Steve noticed that Toni was frozen in terror at seeing the girl and the dog falling; when something suddenly caught the girl and the dog.
"Who's the kid?" Clint asked curiously.
Suddenly, the kid and the dog landed beside Toni. Toni looked at with a smile and said, "So that was your little secret project."
"Yeah, I just wasn't exactly expecting to test it out just yet but it worked." The Avengers heard the girl say then they saw Toni pale.
"You know you're father probably hear about this." Toni said.
"Yeah, he probably will and he won't be too happy." Nix said.
Steve cleared his throat.
Toni, Nix, and the dog all looked at Captain America.
"The kid and the dog need to get to safety, Toni." Steve stated.
Clint watched the girl and saw her and Toni look at each other for a moment or two.
Natasha was about to inform Captain Rogers whose daughter that the girl was when the girl said, "You're Captain Steve Rogers aka Captain America, Right?"
Steve nodded wondering how the kid knew this.
Then the girl spoke again saying, "Captain, I may be twelve years old but before I returned home for the Summer Holidays; I faced a sixty foot snake that could kill you if you looked it in the eyes with just a sword and a unique bird."
The dog whimpered at hearing that.
"Not to mention, the venom from that very snake is running through my veins along with the tears of the unique bird. So, this doesn't exactly bother me, Capsicle." The girl said as she took off.
Toni sighed and said, "If I know Nix, she's going to help no matter what."
"Stark, she's just a kid." Steve said.
"Cap, I know how old my daughter is, thanks." Toni said going after Nix.
"Did I hear that right, Nat?" Clint asked over the conn.
"Yes, Clint, you heard correctly. That twelve year old girl is Toni's daughter, Phoenix Jasmine Stark-Strange." Natasha said.
Captain Rogers along with the other Avengers that were fighting on the ground were stunned to see how well Nix could fight for a twelve year old.
The fighting continues. Natasha was with Nix and the dog trying to get back to the top of the tower. Then Toni got alerted to an incoming missile and was going to stop it until she got an idea of what to do with the missile.
Nix decided to go help on the ground and then looked up just as her phone rang. Nix answered, "Mom?!"
"I love you, Nix. Tell, your Father that I love him as well."
"MOM?!"Nix screamed as the line went dead.
The Avengers watched as the twelve year old girl fought with fell to her knees and sobbing. Clint cautiously approached the girl because the dog was trying to comfort her.
"Um...Nix?" Clint said softly.
Nix grabbed Clint and was still sobbing just as the dog let out a yip; everyone looked up and sure enough it was Toni falling from the sky.
"Well, I be damn." Steve said.
"She's not slowing down!" Thor said.
Natasha was noticing how Nix was still holding on to Clint and wondered what was up with that.
They watched as the Hulk smashed into a building in order to catch Toni then crash landed. Thor and Steve rushed over followed by Clint, Nix, and the dog who whimpered.
"Mom?" Nix said tears running down her face.
Steve couldn't believe that Toni had still been a mother but the fact that the kid joined them in the fight was shocking; but he felt like he wanted to comfort the child because losing a parent is hard.
Thor watched as the young girl let go the Son of Barton and knelt down beside the Lady of Iron. Then he watched the dog lay its head on her shoulder.
At that moment, the Hulk let out which startled everyone including the dog but the young girl didn't move.
Suddenly, Toni's eyes opened and said, "No, one kissed me, did they?"
Steve and the others chuckled.
Then they heard, "TONI?! NIX?!"
Both Toni and Nix knew the voice and turned to see Stephen coming towards them, while the others were completely confused.
"Stephen?" Toni said
"Dad?" Nix said.
The man hugged them both immediately and quickly checked them over. Both Toni and Nix could tell that Stephen had a rough day only to return home to see New York in shambles as well as Stark Tower.
Stephen and Toni were talking; the dog watched Nix as she walked over to the Hulk which caused the dog to yip. Both Stephen and Toni watched as their daughter approached the Hulk.
"Hulk, thank you for helping my mother." Nix said looking at the Hulk.
The Hulk looked at Nix and said, "You welcome, flaming bird. Hulk wonder why you not scared of me?"
"Well, I am aware of someone that is like you in someway but his change happens during the full moon." Nix said.
Both Toni and Stephen knew who Nix was referring to and said, "Moony!"
Somewhere in a forest in England...
Remus Lupin awoke suddenly from seemed like a dream then there was pecking on his window. He let the owl in and paid the owl. He had a letter from Hogwarts asking him to become the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor as well as a copy of the Daily Prophet.
Remus decided to read a very unusual article entitled 'The Avengers Save New York From An Alien Attack'.
As Remus read the article and saw the pictures, he saw a young girl standing between a man in blue robes with a red cape and a woman in an metal looking suit also there was a dog with them.
He wondered if one of the Daily Prophet's reporters had been there in New York. However, what surprised him was that Mr. and Mrs. Stark-Strange's daughter attended Hogwarts also they were backed by the MCUSA since they had somehow combined Muggle Technology with magic and they are Lord and Lady Stark-Strange.
He wrote Dumbledore back telling him that he would take the job. Little did he know that Phoenix Stark-Strange was actually Harriet Potter.
Back in New York...
Stephen looked at Toni and said, "I believe we have to explain a few things to everyone before Nix heads back to school."
"Yeah, we do but we also have to take of Loki as well." Toni said.
So, the Avengers made their way to back to the Tower to take of Loki.
The dog growled at Loki as he looked up then the young girl said, "Padfoot, Loki was being controlled by someone."
The Avengers and well as Loki at Nix in shock at what she had said.
Suddenly, Fury and Phil appeared which caused shocked look on the Avengers' faces.
Nix may be twelve years old, but one thing that she hated was lies unless it was a good reason.
Stephen and Toni along with the portrait of Lily and James noticed that Nix was walking up to Nick Fury.
Fury looked at the girl approaching him and the next thing he knew a fist hit him in the face.
"NIX?!" Stephen, Toni, Lily, and James said.
The Avengers were completely startled at hearing a portrait talking.
Nix looked at Fury and said, "Nicholas Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., never lie to my family again!"
Phil looked at the girl and she was mad at Fury.
"Nix?" Toni said.
"Sorry, mom but I hate liars and he lied to you and the others about Agent Coulson." Nix said.
Phil cleared his throat and had to ask, "Stark, how did you make that portrait talk?"
Toni looked at Phil and said, "I didn't make the portrait talk plus we'll need S.H.I.E.L.D.'s help to prove a man innocence since the British Magical Community just threw the man in their Wizarding Prison without a trial and the fact that he did a godparent ritual his magic would have killed him."
"Who are you referring to, Toni?" Steve asked.
"My wife is referring to Lord Sirius Orion Black also known as Padfoot." Stephen stated.
Everyone looked at the dog and the dog changed right in front of their eyes into a man. They reacted instinctively immediately except for Toni and Stephen.
"Toni, that's a criminal!" Steve said.
"Cap?" Nix said.
Steve looked at the twelve year old and said, "Yes?"
"Take a look at this." Nix said handing Steve a peice of parchment.

"Yeah, Cap. I mean by magic, Sirius Black is her godfather that biological parents chose and we chose you as her godfather. Regardless, of how many times my father compared me to you." Toni stated.
Stephen and Nix knew that was hard for Toni admit.
Steve was shocked to hear that Howard would compare his daughter to him.
"I have feeling that you two are wanting to tell us something. By the way, Ms. Nix nice punch." Fury stated.
"Thanks, Mom and Dad wanted me to learn how to defend myself without magic." Nix said.
So, Toni and Stephen explained the entire situation/story to the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. for what they're actually dealing with. After they finished the story; everyone was completely shocked especially Clint because he was shocked that he was a soulmate to a twelve year old.
"Toni, S.H.I.E.L.D. will help get Lord Black a trial here in America to prove his innocence and have him work for S.H.I.E.L.D. that way he can keep an eye on Nix in the Magical World." Fury stated.
Sirius was shocked to hear this and agreed.
A month later...
Nix was back at King's Crossing with her parents and Captain Rogers. When they walked on to platform Nine and Three-quarters; a lot of Muggle-borns and some pure bloods were completely in shock.
Suddenly, Ron and Hermione appeared; which caused Nix to sigh that caused her parents and Captain America to look at the two who were approaching them.
"Something, tells me that you don't like them." Steve said.
"I have keep telling them that my name is Phoenix and not Harriet." Nix said.
"Harriet, how was your Summer?" Ron asked.
"My name is Phoenix and my Summer was exciting as well as fun." Nix said with a snarky manner.
Toni, Stephen, and Steve couldn't help but chuckle.
"Harri, you broke several laws?!" Hermione said.
Nix looked at Hermione and said, "I'm not a British citizen, Ms. Granger! I'm an American citizen and I answer to the MCUSA not the Minstery of Magic! The only I attend Hogwarts is to see the difference between the American Magical Schools and European Magical Schools. So far, I like Hogwarts but if you keep calling me Harriet when my name is Phoenix then we are going to have problems and I mean legal problems!"
Both Ron and Hermione were stunned to hear Harriet say legal problems.
"Well, Nix, compared to your Summer vacation; I hope everything will be safe for you?" Steve said.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Cap because my family is amazing and I am proud to call myself an Avenger as well." Nix said giving the Cap a two finger salute.
Steve gave her the two finger salute back; while Stephen and Toni chuckled.
The Muggle-borns and pure bloods were stunned to hear that.
Toni, Stephen, and Steve watched as Nix boarded the train.
"How do you and Stephen manage seeing her off like this, Toni?" Steve asked curiously.
"Well, Cap, I'll admit that it is hard but we know that she's safe." Toni said.
Then they walked away once the train pulled out of the station.
Meanwhile, on the train...
Hermione pulled Nix into a compartment with her and Ron. However, unbeknownst to them, Nix felt a very familiar presence besides the stupid rat.
Hermione was scolding Nix about her lies and everything. Ron was agreeing with Hermione on everything.
Nix just sat there ignoring them both and read a book that her father got her.
"Harri, what are you reading?" Hermione questioned.
"A book on International Law." Nix simply said.
Both Hermione and Ron paled.
