AN: Saw part one of the Ninja/Storm, Dino Thunder Crossover this morning. The scene where Cam and Hunter hugged got my plot bunnies going.
A whole year since I've seen him.
Cam felt that thought go through his mind as he looked at a photo, the photo taken of the night Lothor was defeated. The night he and Hunter almost kissed.
Did Hunter ever think of him? They had talked by email every now and then. Cam forced himself to come back to reality. His father had been acting strangely and had gone off the academy grounds, he hadn't returned yet and he was growing worried.
He was intercepted by Kapri and Marah, "Hey cousin." Marah said.
"Sorry girls I can't talk now I have to find dad."
He walked into the forest and soon found a torn scroll and looked down, it couldn't be, but there it was a strange purple substance. Was Lothor really back?
An hour later Cam returned to find a scene he had never hoped would be repeated, destruction was everywhere and no one in sight. He clenched his fists, Lothor would pay and this time it would be for good. He pulled out his communicator, "Hunter this is a code red."
Hunter's voice came back, "Are you sure?"
"I'm afraid so, meet me in the square."
Despite the trouble, Cam felt his heart flutter when Hunter appeared beside him ten minutes later. The two hugged, "I didn't plan for us to meet this way again." Cam said.
Hunter smiled his killer grin, "Here we are, and I missed you."
Before Cam could say anything, Hunter pressed his lips against his and Cam responded eagerly. Soon they pulled apart, "That's for last year."
Cam smiled, "Good enough reason." They were soon all business and called Blake, who appeared a few minutes later.
"Did I miss anything interesting?"
